  1. Who turned on the AC? It's freaking cold.
  2. I actually have HDTPE Equipment being tested right now and that's included in it.
  3. Someone needs to generate tree billboards for the new version I think. I will investigate. Billboards existing are for a fairly old version.
  4. Yep, all my downloads working fine now.
  5. Two things to try. 1: Turn down the rate % in FCO MCM. 2. Disable Auto Idle in EFF MCM.
  6. Guide updated, looks like it is a standalone batch that runs TES5Edit now.
  7. Move only the added one from OBIS.esp so that both the UDGP and OBIS changes are present in the conflict resolution esp.
  8. Yep, going to look at it shortly. As a note to all: If you note any SR:LE mods missing, let me know since I'm not checking links daily or anything.
  9. Probably a huge jump in downloads due to people stocking up in case mods disappear. Doubt anything more than that.
  10. There are always self entitled pricks, doesn't matter where you are. There are far more good people out there, and they don't always want to be known. Perhaps I'm seeing the bright side because I only associate with those who aren't ******s, and ignore those who are.
  11. "So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil." Gandalf, LOTR Now is the time the community must stand together for what they believe is right. Not all is lost, not yet. Remember the horse armor. This fight is not only for Skyrim, but also for FO4 and TES6.
  12. Like any community there are bad eggs and good eggs, not everyone is self-serving leeches. There are plenty of great people out there that want nothing more than to learn how to mod and are very appreciative of everything they are given. I'm sure there is a lot of this going on, especially given the news exposure it has gotten. I'm going to make this clear before I go on, that hate speech and vitriol does not have a place in the community. That being said, a fair bit of the criticism and backlash being leveled at some of these mod authors is very much deserved and warranted. Literally, until the day the store released, people were being hyped up and assured that the new releases were coming soon with zero hint that it wouldn't be given freely as it always had been. It would have been better to simply say nothing about the upcoming versions at all until the day it came out and then explained it. I also feel that people giving un-endorsements, authors hiding their mods in protest until such time that they can have dependencies on now-paid mods removed, pointing out places where formerly-respected mod authors basically spit on their former (current?) user base are all fair game. I want you all to note, that not a single STEP member has posted a hateful comment on a mod authors page that I've seen and I'm really proud of that fact. I think the silent majority are waiting a bit to see how this all plays out, but I'm sure about 90+% of them view this in a negative light even if they sympathize with the sentiments of the modders electing to join the paywall. As I stated before: even at $1 a mod, the community would be much much smaller than it currently is. Money rarely, if ever, improves quality of life. It simply drives greed and resentment. The biggest problem with paywalling, for me, is the splitting of the community. You can no longer assume that people have access to a mod, therefore you can no longer ask for support from friendly modders or compatibility patches if they do not also own said mod. I somehow doubt you will get permissions from people to use assets from their paid mod, even if you aren't selling yours. The cycle of teaching new modders tips and tricks could very well come to an end to keep a competitive advantage over others, etc. The list goes on on the reasons this is a bad move, not to mention the corporate greed in this.
  13. This conversation with a SkyUI developer really showed me how they feel. Warning! Profanity. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/33r0r9/a_genuine_appeal_to_the_true_sons_of_modding_the/cqnxye5?context=3 The SkyUI mod comment thread is also pretty bad to look at.
  14. There's the motley crew.
  15. Here's something from the SkyUI thread, I am severely disappointed: On the other side of the coin, the guys producing Warzones 2015 just put out their statement. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9494
  16. Wonder if he's just read the announcement and not the backlash yet. That would be my guess if he is expecting people to be "hyped up" rather than "sharpening pitchforks".
  17. I sincerely hope that the attacks stop, and that both Chesko and Isoku continue to mod. The loss of these authors would be felt tremendously by the community. Though they made a mistake (in my opinion) supporting this endeavor, I do not think they should be held hostage by it. If they pull out from the workshop and resume providing their work freely on the Nexus or on their own site, I fully support people sending donations to them if they can for all the hours of enjoyment received.
  18. Harassment, slander, and threats to mod authors are not OK under any circumstance. Speaking your mind and/or expressing your disappointment with explanations on why modding behind a pay wall is bad is perfectly valid. I do not support the hate, that is just horrible.
  19. A single 980 won't do 60fps outdoors, but it does a constant 45+ smoothly. Indoors is always 60fps minimum.
  20. I was referring to the fact that ALL mods are currently unavailable. Not just his. :) I agree.
  21. Now that is interesting, indeed.
  22. To be entirely fair, I changed your code in my personal sandbox (*Yarr*!) and never ticked GiveFirstbornToSheson=1. Would you settle for babysitting duties? :)
  23. Definitely giving this one a try soon.
  24. I live in an equal opportunity pet home. :)
