Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition News
Neovalen replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I have been giving it a run since it launched and thus far have had a few problems. I have been able to resolve them all thus far via updates and settings. Setting "UseOSAllocators=1" by itself caused RaceMenu to CTD my game during testing. Since then I have also set "AlignHeapAllocate=1" and that appears to have solved that issue. Will be giving it some more time before officially switching the guide over to it. -
Seriously messed up Solstheim
Neovalen replied to George79's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
That is a whole ton of ugly. I have never personally seen anything quite like that. I will take a few minutes to travel to Solsteim and check it out but somehow doubt it will look like that... -

5/22/2016 5:30PM PST: Changed from Skyrim Realistic Overhaul to Noble Skyrim. I have been personally using this setup for awhile now to give it a good run and feel comfortable enough to recommend it. Noble Skyrim has very high quality textures and I feel very comfortable trading it in place of SRO since that was only available via a torrent. Added: Noble Skyrim Project Parallax Revived Removed: Skyrim Realistic Overhaul Project Parallax Remastered -
Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition Welcome to the new sticky thread for base SR:LE replacing the old "Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback" thread which has now been retired. While the guide has not had an "official release" it is being used by a great number of people and probably does not need one so it is time to make a new thread. That and the old thread got to 500 pages and probably causes all kinds of forum software headaches. :) Main purpose of this sticky is to provide news on major changes and solicit feedback on any changes I make to the guide in an organic way.

If your not going to use a UNP based body replacer, then you don't need the normal maps for them. -
I posted this as part of my XCOM2 thread... same cover different video to suit the game obviously.

Funny enough I'm actually listening to "When Stars and Salt Collide" one as you posted that. :) I saw they are coming to L.A later this year, I may have to buy some tickets.

The Piano Guys I had to post this here for anyone who has not yet seen these guys, all of their covers, originals, and videos are amazing. Here are some samples for easy access: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZNqs0YgWkM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p0BqUcQ7i0

GUIDE W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited (Witcher 3)
Neovalen replied to Neovalen's topic in Unsupported Game Guides
I can't wait, but at the same time it saddens me a little that this will be the last DLC for the game and, therefore, marks the end of Geralt of Rivia's story as the main protagonist. CDProjekt has said that there will be more games set in the Witcher universe, but they will not feature Geralt as the main character. It will also be after Steampunk 2077 is finished. -
Contrary to popular belief, not all gamers writhe in their own filth and live in dank basements. That being said, BO is known to be in many public spaces, so warning noted.

I am confirmed for the EA Play event in LA on June 12th. Should get some hands-on game time in with Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2. Should be a lot of fun, going with a work buddy. :)

Did you move your install? It sounds like the registry entries for Skyrim are missing or incorrect. Try running the launcher outside of MO to reset them. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15
Neovalen replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Yes. Here is a link to the contents of the merge directory. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/98286095/Skyrim%20Revisited%20Legendary%20Edition/merge.7z I can also confirm I do have the stables flickering issue. -

Look at the top of the guide or at any one of my mods for donation information. :) If you have patcher issues, it is highly recommended to clear your SkyProc cache by doing the following: 1) Delete your current Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp 2) Delete any SkyProc files found in SkyProc Patchers \ Dual Sheath Redux Patch except for the original Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar and More Heapspace batch files. 3) Delete any SkyProc files found in Documents \ My Games \ Skyrim \ SkyProc (if any). Note: You will have to re-select any optional settings in the patcher after clearing the cache. I figured this was the case, and therefore my answer remains the same: No, I will not do it. :) -

I don't remove the merge folder, but cannot confirm I have a problem or not until this evening. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15
Neovalen replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
I merged all your add on esps into a DynDOLOD - Addons.esp, apparently whatever needs to detect said merges is not working? In any case, thanks for all the work. :) -

I'll look at it tonight... might be ok to just mod the ini to list the merge file but not sure until I check tonight. -
Enhanced Blood Textures and a few other mods already include brawl bugs fix.

Lets make this clear. The guide text: Alright, here is how you do it in 10 easy steps: 1. In the optional files section, there is DynDOLOD 2.04 BETA. Per the description it says Contains DynDOLOD.exe and TexGen.exe and documention. This file is the "main file" and is installed separately from MO. For me it is: E:\Gaming\Skyrim\Tools\DynDOLOD\. 2. Below that there is DynDOLOD Resources 2.00 BETA. Per the description it says Contains the required 'Core Files' like meshes, textures, papyrus scripts. This one is installed as a standard mod with the FOMOD instructions. 3. Do the DynDOLOD merge per the guide. 4. At the bottom of the guide, it says to setup DynDOLOD.exe and TexGen.exe as executables in MO. Similar to how other executables are set up in the guide. 5. Run TexGen per the instructions. 6. Run DynDOLOD per the instructions. 7. Move output files into mods per the instructions. 8. Activate mods, run LOOT and setup metadata for DynDOLOD.esp. 9. Run Game and ???. 10. Profit. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15

Oputput fixed for DynDOLOD.... TexGen still has the issue: E:\Gaming\Skyrim\Tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Oputput\ -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15
Neovalen replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Changed Line #335 of optionsform.pas to: edDestination.Text := wbProgramPath + 'DynDOLOD_Output_Custom\'; No change, output path remains the same. E:\Gaming\Skyrim\Tools\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_Oputput\ -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD 2.00 to 2.15
Neovalen replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Line #335 of optionsform.pas looks fine. edDestination.Text := wbProgramPath + 'DynDOLOD_Output\'; Line #409 of TexGen.pas looks fine as well. wbOutPutPath := ProgramPath + 'TexGen_Output'; I will try a complete re-install of 2.03 and see if something changes (somehow). Edit: Reinstall still resulted in the same result.
