  1. PapyrusUtil maybe created them? All of those mods use PapyrusUtil IIRC. Not sure. I would just move each to their corresponding mod, preserving the file / folder structure for each. That should prevent them from going back into overwrite.
  2. I'm proud, lol. It's stable now, don't mess it up! ;-) Modding is an addiction. We need a therapy group or something. "Just one more mod, I said...and then I'll quit."
  3. No doubt. Take a rest, man! For if / when you do add Interesting NPCs again, I noticed the website has a bunch of patches and stuff not on the Nexus page. Maybe some stuff might help you out. https://3dnpc.com/fan-patches/ I posted this last week, but just in case you missed it with your hard drive catastrophe.
  4. If all that needs to be done is to load the mod in CK and save it, couldn't users just do that? Some mods currently need to be cleaned in xEdit, etc. People could just make this CK saving a similar (albeit annoying) habit with mods that weren't updated since SSE release.
  5. More detailed info on mod compatibility: https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/743192238541307904 Credit to Arthmoor @ AFKMods. Original post.
  6. Thallassa also has a video on basic CR.
  7. Huh, it was only 2.6GB or something (< 3GB for sure) on Steam.
  8. Yeah, but that is the thing, LA...XPMSE MCM menu shows everything is good to go, even with Moonlight Tales overwriting. So I wasn't sure if Neo meant for Moonlight to overwrite or not. But you are probably right, as it is the standard advice that XPMSE skeleton should always win.
  9. Here's hoping someone steps up to bring SkyUI to SSE: https://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1603416-how-will-64-bit-work-for-pc/?p=25169398
  10. Nice, this was the patch I was waiting for to start playing Blood & Wine. Changelog here.
  11. To me, more explanations are better. I like understanding why something is needed, for the points you mention, Kelmych.
  12. I always assumed Neo wanted Moonlight Tales version to win because it is lower in the list and it doesn't mention to hide any files. This would be good to have clarification on.
  13. LOL @ More cores. Well, that is really horrible news. Here I was, all excited because Skyrim was getting the restrictions taken off. 32-bit to 64-bit. No more reliance on mostly one core. No more use of only 4GB RAM. This thing will finally be a modern game (which my computer plays much, much faster than Skyrim)! So better graphics out of the box (who cares, I have mods) and better performance (hooray!). Now I understand it is going to be even worse performance (even though it will be utilizing much more hardware, it will still achieve a worse result). Well, so much for me playing SSE, lol. The main reason I was excited was because (modded) Skyrim would be joining normal performance levels for modern games. If not, I'm afraid there is not much for me to be excited about. I suppose it will be more stable. There is that.
  14. I think I have read that there is a 2GB limit per mod on consoles. I can't remember the source, though, so it could be nonsense.
  15. :-( Man, this brings me down, DY. I thought it would be faster than current Skyrim due to utilization of more processor cores and more RAM. If it is slower, then I will definitely be disappointed. I think I am currently bottlenecked by my CPU (laptop CPUs have horrid clockspeed). :-( I don't even own FO4 yet, so I have no idea how my laptop would handle that game.
  16. Well, I was wrong, SP. My first thought just from the name was "more shiny!". :-P
  17. I...don't really use anything, to be honest. I'll check with Skyrim Performance Monitor every once in a while (read: after I setup a new modlist) to make sure my FPS is OK. But I have never not used V-Sync, so I have never really had a reason to monitor FPS all the time. Edit: And yeah, without V-Sync or frame limiting you ARE going to have physics issues when FPS >60.
  18. After the paid mods fiasco I'm pretty sure Bethesda publicly said they wouldn't go near that again for a long time. I bet they do it for TES6...but I think they are just trying to establish console modding at this point. Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE are test cases to work out the console modding kinks, because console is where the money is at. Once modding is well established on console, THEN I see a return to a paid modding concept, with the release of the next big game. But not before. Just my thoughts.
  19. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/4nwxa8/help_skyrim_crash_when_using_bed_in_alternate/ Just yesterday in fact. Do a Google search and I am sure you will find more. I have heard about crashes with it (and other third party software like Precision X, etc.) in the past, but I am too lazy to look up more links. I have never used it, so I cannot say for certain. But a lot of these third party utilities can cause crashes. Meanwhile they might work fine for someone else. It's always a good idea to check about it though. VSync in enblocal.ini, yeah. And you have to have the proper Skyrim.ini setting for it as well, iPresentInterval=1. Driver level is at the videocard level (i.e. not in the game, or through a third-party utility, but through the videocard). Use something like Nvidia inspector to check out the settings. Good info here: https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9.2#1.E._Display_.26_Video_Card_Settings
  20. I wouldn't use MSI Afterburner. I've heard of crashes when using it before with Skyrim. Just use VSync. Or limit FPS at the driver level (ENB FPS Limiter is broken from what I have heard).
  21. Ubisoft is giving away Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time until the end of June if you have a UPlay account. Link here. They will be giving away one game a month until the end of the year to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Credit to NightStar @ AFKMods. Original post here.
  22. Yeah, the wiki is messed up at the moment for everyone. Try in an hour or two, maybe.
  23. Skyrim Special Edition will be a new item in your Steam library. It will not affect your current Skyrim installation at all. On Oct. 28th you will just have a new game in your Steam account. :-)
  24. I had been noticing some slowdowns, but just now I tried to reach a few different pages on the wiki and they will not load. It was right around the turn of the hour, and is still occurring for me. Perhaps this is the scheduled backup time? In case not, I thought I would mention it.
