Nozzer or Lexy hi! could you help with a few pointers...So i use all of the mods on the guide bar AAE, disparity, ordinator and imperious. The conflict patch(CR) has already addressed all conflicts, and i know how to remove the records of said not used mods from CR..all Hunky Dorie. If i add say, good guys for Boethiah, Namia, and D/brotherhood..sort load order, sort masters..but want to check for conflicts, load all mods in xedit and here is the rub. I assume you need to apply a filter/s but which one/s to show conflict/s so i can begin to fix them in xedit. Its this first stage of finding conflicts that i cannot seem to grasp...moving records etc i sort of get the drift..i am trying to work through the pdf of xedit to understand how to use the tool but admit am finding it a challenge...thanks for any help Berndaroy -

Am i the only one that truly hates (sorry dislikes) followers. Ever since Morrowind having follower/s that always get in the way, you accidentally hit them during combat and suddenly your are a criminal etc. Yes i suppose that things may have improved, with Sofia as ranged attacker, but still i would rather fight by myself and if push comes to shove..conjurer a dremora lord or something. Lydia i leave at home or allow to become a house steward or better still recruit into the blades....but that just me or being a loner most of my life LOL Berndaroy -

Sorry Nozzer, i was thinking of an Oblivion mod for male bodies. What i meant was Better males, on the guide we use non nude to work with Skysights skins that has loin cloth. If users choose to use nude version, than i don't think the nude version will work with Vituvia skin mod..but it would work with SOS as the mod author has made it to work with it..on reflection maybe the best would to stick with non nude versions of male/female. Either way I'm happy just to have good looking skins/bodies as opposed to vanilla Berndaroy..PS scrap that i need to read more clearly...Nude or never nude versions (used body meshes from "better males" by Sundracon and FavoredSoul) as read on Vituvia mod page -

Nozzer i agree with both yourself and Lexy here regarding Vituvia skin textures and the choice of nude/non-nude. If implemented would that mean Roberts male mod removed and replaced by SOS( Schlongs of Skyrim) or would it still be applicable? Also i really like the look of the Argonian skin textures..crisp and clean...anyway will await what you decide Berndaroy -

Oh for the love of!!!!!...Boys and girls i need some advise if i may. Yesterday was a high that ended in a low in early hours of the morning(my time). High because i learnt more things with xedit that i did not know before, and had Matortheeternal instruct me on how to fix navmesh errors flagged by merge stand alone tool. So rebuilt all the merge mods as instructed here to accommodate new added mods and note which merges needed navmesh fixes. Created new test profile in MO, used wyre bash to ESMify all masters of merged mod(those with navmesh problems), loaded constuction kit let it run its course, saved, checked, cleaned merge, espified masters back. Final check for errors with xedit and all's happy..go back to the build profile..sort load order, manually change where needed, load all in xedit once loaded sort masters and all hell breaks lose. errors in this line of this mod and so on. So i thought i have messed up, start again on faulty merged mods but after seven attempts my head was banging the desk top in frustration. So this morning rebuilt the merges AGAIN but only checked them for errors with xedt and got to the point of sorting masters...ALLS HAPPY... SO can we just ignore the errors flagged by merge tool about navmesh being rebuit in ck?. For me the problem merges are 1. LOTD merge(my own build as i have mods not used here..never been a problem before). 2. weapons and armor merge. 3. miscellaneous merge plus two others with mods not used here..beginnig to think ignorance is BLISS sometimes Berndaroy -

Darth just to be clear, if we have removed grim grass from the merge, is it right to set the i.n.i setting back to imingrasssize = 75 as opposed to 100 Berndaroy -

Sweet Lord i can be thick sometimes. Downloaded the pdf files on TES5Edit to better understand the tool, and just found out why i could not always see records..before on the rschildren-helgen patch and on others, because i had "hide no conflict rows" still ticked....don't think face palming will do this one justice..LOL Berndaroy...PS thanks Thenewkid for your suggestion will look into that...now to find a pretty picture somewhere.... and NO suggestions for head banging, i can hear you all shout out to me -

Lexy hi! thank you for the reply...OK i will try the deleted flag suggestion and see if any change...I'm just enjoying playing as i could not help myself with tinkering and trying this mod or that, not liking stating again etc LOL you know how it is Berndaroy..PS do you know a good guide that's lay-man friendly on how to create an picture/icon of oneself instead of the blank profile on this site that i have...like your latest better then the last -

Darth if we move the tree/flora esp lower down as suggested, i assume that dyndolod would need to be rerun if already playing, like Lexy i have a fairly stable game at present and don't wish to mess around to much, but yes there are slight grass issues. Had grass issue in Eldergleam cave with black grass all over, tried to do Lexy's suggestion to change i.n.i settings to 100, but no change really...still have that pesky white fluffy grass from grim grass, despite removing meshes and tried changing density to 0 as author suggests in xedit. Even tried remove it all together in xedit but on a new game still persists....learning to live with it, must be records carried over in the merge..any way not a train smash at present...all the best to you and family Berndaroy -

Minos hi! this guide is a stand alone version and not part of Neovalen's SRLE..though there is still elements of it. Suffice to say ALL INSTRUCTION you'll need are found here from introductions from Nozzer and Darth, to Prerequisite page (cleaning esm etc) through to merges and finalizing. Just start on this page...https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn and READ THOROUGHLY and follow instructions and you will be sorted Omgitskae hi! if you install...https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/?(mfg console - skse plugin no esp), and place the mask on ground, table etc and click on it, mfg will show you which mod the mask is from. Posts on the mask mods page, my reveal some insight if others have had the same problem. Needless to say others here may be able to help further...hope this may help a little Berndaroy -

Hang in there B00mer, it's worth it in the long run..fresh start, fresh game. Darth/Nozzer I'm curious in regards to the ranking system on this forum. For instance, Sirjesto is ranked as Guard, despite his level of skill, contribution and knowledge of modding to this guide and LOTD. In comparison to myself(Thane), who's skills in regards to modding is limited to following guides and bogging my way through and at times offering help when i can. At first i thought it might be the amount of post sent, but that doesn't flow...Sirjesto 240..myself 146..so what is the criterion..again no train smash, just curiosity on my part. Berndaroy -

Just a little feed back in regards to lighting in game. I have built Lanterns of Skyrim into my game with only street lights enabled (MCM), and find that nights are a little more bearable along roads. I still use Henry's ring of light, bride white x3 for in caves, which allows for clearer viewing without losing the ambience/atmosphere. However during the day under bright sun it was hard on my eyes, but found if i allowed custom settings in MCM of Vivid Weather, and set bloom to medium, it was much better...also details like tree bark etc seemed clearer, crisper. You can also changed interiors but i like ELE - Lite and Relighting Skyrim as in the guide. So far pretty happy but would still like to know if Claralux would work better...JD Smith or PaulRoot may be able to give feed back from their guides Berndaroy -

Just my two cents worth, i prefer Bft and you have worked out most of the problems with it...it works and what isn't broke as the saying goes. Either way i will stick with it....again Darth, Lexy and Nozzer, with help from JD Smith and Paulroot, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE AND STILL DOING. Skyrim will never be the same without your guide and possible tweaks, additions etc Berndaroy -
