  1. Reddvilzz hi. If you go to reddit skyrim page and in search type, Real shelter/vivid weather, it comes up with three posts...(1) Help.inconsistent rain and popping fog etc.(2) Vivid weather and Real shelter. (3) Anyone with any experience with running RS & VW...its under the third option that plonton advises this...Particle snow from vivid weathers doesn't work with Real Shelter, but apparently a patch is in the works. Rain is fine. You could patch vanilla snow back into vw without too much hassle. I'm currently working on making patches for real shelter and once i've done TesArena, i might be able to make you a patch for vw if you can't work it out for yourself...copy as override into new esp the vw snow weathers, then drag vanilla snow into and over vw particle snow. Vivid weather has its own snow particles that RS doesn't recognize hence the need for vanilla. However as stated in an earlier post I'M NO EXPERT WITH Xedit and simply trying this method..and as stated if this is the answer, than surely a patch would have been out by now! If you have any advise i'll appreciate it as i find with the new vivid version and the installed rain, a minor annoyance when out and about and my resorting back to RS Berndaroy

Ya i'm using real shelters, but made a new .esp...in xedit carried over vivid snow weather into it and than overwrote it with vanilla snow..as advised on reddits one post, regarding this problem. Early days on a new game start but it seems to be working..but i cannot believe it can be this simple otherwise a patch would have been out before this..any way the rain side works which was what i was really after Berndaroy
  3. Whetstone thank you for the reply. That is pretty much what i have been able to gather from posts in Real Shelter. What i can't gather is, besides the snow problem, will it run safely with vivid weather..i.e if i install Real shelter and run the patch, will snow falling through shelters be the only problem or will it cause major problems?....in short i could always rebuild the vivid weather merge without the new rain .esp Berndaroy
  4. Darth a small question, i asked Neovalen awhile back as to why he dropped real shelter. He told me that it didn't play well with vivid weather. With the new improved rain .esp in vivid weather, I'm finding not having any real shelter apart from indoors becoming an annoyance. So what weather mod will work with real shelter if i was to use it again...COT as before or do you have any other suggestions...thanks for all you have done! Brendaroy

  9. Dear Reddvilzz, no the only texts that show small is when you open console and type something..the writing is small and when you level up, the health, magic and stamina text box is small. Every thing else is normal. I had sovengarde - mist font replacer in, tried a new game and didn't like it. Removed it, reran all patches(khajitt show ears, relinker etc) and tried new game and wallah this .swf problem. I made a clean backup of Skyrim prior to installing mods and will try to reinstall the vanilla .swf and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the reply Berndaroy
  10. Alright i need to pick someones brain. i've started a new game and my console text size is very small. i've never encounted this before. Does any body know how to change this. I've recently updated my nvidia drivers and not sure if it due to that. Any help is greatly appreciated Berndaroy

Dear Darth, i know that you are not adding contents to this guide at present, but would you consider a new flora mod called Flora mod collection by Renthall311, uploaded by Elina666(sorry not sure how to find the http address....new on nexus).I think it would go well with SFO,verdant,grim grass etc, but obviously compatibility will need to be checked Berndaroy
  12. Hey Reddvilzz, thank you for the reply regarding Arthmoors villages mods. ya I'll look at that as I'm building for the last time (LOL) before LOTD v17 comes out. Played a short play through and decided to remove mods i thought i would like on top of Darth build, but don't really like, and don't want the hassle of cleaning my saves etc(and break the golden rule of removing mods mid play through). Easier to start afresh Berndaroy

I haven't had any issues with Arthmoors mods being unpacked either, it just that I'm rebuilding for the final time prior to LOTD v 17, and noticed his warnings on his web page. No one has reported any issues, so best to leave as is, otherwise ALL HIS MODS need to remain unpacked. Still REALLY APPRECIATE all the work you put into this Berndaroy

Darth on a side note....with MO we are instructed to allow the mod manager to extract BSA files...unless instructed to as with Immersive College of Winterhold, but i see that Arthmoor instructs us NOT TO extract the BSA files for his villages. Have i missed something and should we leave them intact for the villages? Berndaroy

  16. JD thanks for replying and i will try that. However I'm still not sure as to where I'm to place b30GrassVS= 0, in Skyrim I.N.I (grass section) OR THE SkyrimPreferance I.N.I (grass Section). I've rerun BethINI and the b30GrassVS=0 is in the SkyrimPreferance section and NOT IN THE SKYRIM INI section as your guide implies Berndaroy
  17. Paul or JD, i'm not happy with the grass height and amount in game. Grass growing through forsworn beds etc. So i was checking if i had I.N.I settings right and i noticed that under your's and Darth recommendations, you have b30grassVS= 0 under Skyrim I.N.I setting, but if i use MO advanced ini tool to adjust said setting, it places it in SkyrimPref ini. Thus do i need to add said setting to the Skyrim ini and delete it from SkyrimPref ini. Appreciate any feed back Berndaroy
  18. Out of curiosity does anybody else find the grass in landscape merge still overpowering in game. Find lot of grass in caves, growing through forsworn beds etc. Also very noticeable around Lakeview estate area(building chest swamped/lost in grass. I'm thinking of maybe removing unless there's a way to tone it down, which would be a pity, as besides amount and height in game, looks stunning Berndaroy

  23. Dear Paul and JD, just a heads up for your info, regarding my post yesterday about strange subtext when activating Mara's statue in Alternate start cell, Garrouli mentioned RDO as culprit. Yes the RDO - cutting room floor patch has a dialog error in it...i forward the cutting room floor record into the patch and seems alright, but i'm not a patch guru like you guys. If you have the time to look at it i would be grateful but it's no big deal. I don't know how others haven't had this in their game...Any way A BIG THANK YOU TO GARROULI for pointing RDO as culprit.i'm using the final A version of RDO Berndaroy PS Thanks Guys for all the hard work
