  1. Hey all. Just did my SRLEX-LotD install and have been having blast past few days, loving the overall setup/look/feel! But, realized there's a few major issues that I really want to wait to see resolved/updated before I get too deep in my last playthrough (LotD v19.1, CACO v2, win 10 VRAM update, etc). Sooo, In the meantime I'm going to add some more fixes to my patches in this guide in anticipation of the revised guide.   2. maybe it's just my setup with this issue, but I've installed the Animations and Skeleton section twice exactly per the guide. I sporadically get funky stuttering and weird lock-ups/crashes, NPCs getting all "stretchy" after loading screens, etc. and Crash Fixes giving me this message... 27 Aug 23:10:00 Skyrim has crashed while setting up FootIK. Some things you can try to fix this problem:1. Reduce the amount of installed animations.2. Try reload the save until it works. Anyone else getting any funkyness like this?
  3. Just a suggestion for Blowing in the Wind installation. Makes more sense to use the Heavy version of lanterns, otherwise they blow around like crazy...very unrealistic.
  4. Ahh..didn't think about that option. Only issue with that is if/when u need to re-do the merge u need to remember to move Relationship Dialogue Overhaul.esp to the merge folder again...and assuming you copy and pasted it vs cut and pasted . Wondering if it makes sense to choose one consistent method for the guide...if that's even possible?? Thanks again for all your hard work and help!!
  5. This issue with Aetherial Crown - CCF Improved Artifacts Patch has nothing to do with LotD...did XEdit on vanilla setup and same error? I did however post another issue earlier that is an LotD issue...wonder if u responded to wrong post?? Probably can just add both issues I posted to SRLEX-LotD CR...JIC the patches don't get updated.
  6. 1st point - Thanks, understand all that. But if we have a folder/mod (left pane) that has ESP/ESM that aren't part of the merge, as well as ESPs that are part of the merge, then we have to leave that mod activated to be able to use the un-merged ESM/ESP. But then we'll have duplicate or unneeded (they were merged) ESPs in the plugins section. So we need to either hide those duplicate (merged) ESPs in the left pane mod (which would mean we'll have duplicate assets in both the original mod and merged plugin mod), or we separate the ESPs (to be merged) from the original mod to their own mod prior to merging, so just the ESPs that are supposed to be merged are merged without duplicating assets (like the guide does for Snazzy merge, Trees and flora merge, etc). Really maybe just a question of best practice and consistency I'm thinking? The merges that have this issue are --- Even Better Quest Objectives Merged, --- RDO Patches Merged - SRLE Extended LOTD, and --- RS Children Merged - SRLE Extended LOTD. I'm going with creating "ESPs Only" mods for these then doing the merge...hope it's the right way :P 2nd point - i can do basic CR in TES5Edit, just posting these issues so they can be addressed in the guide...and making sure it's not just me making it an issue with my setup.   8. Doing the RDO merge, seems like a discrepancy. Instructions say to merge... RDO - CACO Patch.esp RDO - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - PatchesRDO - Cutting Room Floor Patch.esp (RDO - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - Patches)RDO - EFF v4.0.2 Patch.esp (RDO - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - Patches)RDO - Immersive Horses Patch.esp (RDO - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - Patches)rdo__sofia.esp (RDO - Patches) However per install guide, Relationship Dialog Overhaul.esp will be in the same folder as the above ESPs (except rdo_sofia.esp which was downloaded from SRLE Core Pack). So...should we be moving the other 4 RDO patches into RDO Patches folder, or hiding the 4 ESPs in the main folder?? ALSO...If an ESM is in the same folder as ESPs that we're merging, I assume that's OK (for example the RS Children merge), or should we be creating a separate ESPs only folder? Or keep main folder active and hide merged ESPs?? Thx!!
  9. So it's an issue with old (current) version of ICH_Legacy of the Dargonborn Patch conflicting with new version of LotD...probably the LotD 19.0.8 update that just released couple days ago. I can fix the 1st and 3rd issues, but looks like a formID issue or something with the 2nd issue...I can't do that

  14. Hey gang, just finishing up a pretty big mod and would love to have some testers using the SRLE and SRLE Extended setups. This mod is quite beefy, encompassing my other mods and a year of learning. You'll need a strong graphics card and processor to make it run well, especially with ENB. I know there are some unfinished things, like better worldspace setup, better/more NPCs, small quest or 2 to get the home, get disenchant font working, etc. etc. Notice the many shadowcasting and timed lighting, new music, tons of unique assets, kind of a theme, but that's WIP as well... Should be comparable with any mod, just make sure to load the ESP and the assets after (below) any of my other mods to be safe. You will find the boat to Dragonwind Isle on the Solitude Docks...there's also a map marker there to fast travel to the boat. Well, i finished the current guide last night...less painful than I anticipated...thanks Neo!! couple serious issues, curious if anyone has experienced similar... 1) When i first start the game it doesn't ever load up. I need to go to task manager, exit out of it, then re-open it and it then it works? 2) during the first 3 or so initial cut screens, my system crashes completely...loud grinding beep, monitor goes out, I can hear the game intermittently, but monitor shows disconnected from video card (GTX 970). Need to shut down pc and reboot. I assume it's an issue with my video card, but can the game cause something like this, or does it sound like faulty hardware??

  19. Additional info... Messhes and textures are never copiedScripts are sometimes being copied. BUT scripts folders, often empty, are always created in my merged folders even when there are no scripts in my merging modsSound and Interface files seem to copy over partially/sometimes So based on the above issues, I wonder if there are also errors in my merged esp's...highly likely i suppose eh?
  20. Thanks for taking a look guys! Just noticed this...only meshes and textures folders aren't being copied. Other folders like scripts, interface, seq, etc are copying to the merged mod. I unpack all BSA upon mod install... Tried unchecking Batch copying assets in the merge tab and still not copying meshes/textures. Thx

  22. Plugins seems to be merging fine, but no assets are copying to my merged mod? I've tried finding a setting for this and can;t locate. Anyone have thoughts top fix this? Thx!

  25. Hey gang, i just added a "Test" file in the Optionals section to Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76307/?). Several people using NMM have been having issues downloading, as well as my file paths were too long for Win 7 to use. I think I fixed both of those issues, as well as some additional mesh/texture/patch updates (new 3DNPC and LotD patches). If anyone can download and test and let me know if it works ok, or any issues, that would be mucho appreciated...PM instead of cluttering up this site plz. Thx!
