  1. I use Quick Trade in my F&L load order. I just install it after The Recon Range Finder. However, with this mod you need to hide the hud_main_menu.xml. Then make sure Unified HUD detects it. That is pretty much it. I have never run into problems with it.
  2. Very Unlikely that LOOT caused the issue. Something is overwriting PN's files. Make sure you also have Archive Invalidation checked in the profiles box. Make sure Unified HUD project is loaded AFTER all the HUD section mods.
  3. Yea there is some strange bug. : But if you read the mod page he says: "If you're using Nevada Skies, make sure you untick its files and turn it back on after the intro is finished."
  4. I think I could do that. I have been working on how to texture so I think this might be right up my alley.
  5. I don't generally like to bring up old posts but since this forum is so short I didn't want to make a knew one. I got the GECK to launch succesfully but so far if I have the following .esp's checked it will crash on startup. (I am following EssArrBee's F&L guide): Advanced Recon Armor.esp Detect Traps Merged.esp JIP Companions Command and Control.esp FlashlightNV.esp There are probably more and as I find them I will update this post. Edit: and by launch I mean launched through MO. It launches just fine outside of MO.
  6. Ya you're right I completely forgot about Afterschool Special :. I've been using the Goodsprings Home for a while and I have not done the Afterschool Special quest yet do it did not cross my mind.
  7. Because I enjoy modding so much and have way too much time on my hands I have gone through the guide about 6 or so times and I am planning on doing a full post of all the bugs/typos/problems I have found. In the mean time I wanted to make a few suggestions of my own. Quick Trade MG's Neat Clutter Goodspring's Home Quick Trade is a nice little mod that lets you skip the "Do you have anything for sale?" and "Sure. Here's what I got." I think it's essential for any playthrough. MG's Neat Clutter is an amazing retex for those things that NMC does not cover. It could potentially be performance troubling but I think it could be posted as an option. Goodspring's Home is something I thought should have been in the game in the first place. This mod is lore friendly and it makes sense. It's not too overpowered and it gives you a home early on to sleep and resupply. Mobile Truck Base I think this mod is a good alternative to the fast travel system and is lore friendly while providing a player home. Also, you could mention that you can turn fast travel off using PN settings. Some basic notes I have made: *I think that ILO should be placed below NV Interior's Project due to it having requirments from Nevada Skies and NV Interior's Project *I was going to say that Realistic Wasteland Lighting be posted as an alternative for those who don't have the computer power to run Nevada Skies but it seems to have been removed from the Nexus *I think you should explain why you should add that .ini file for NVSE; just a quick explanation *I think ILO should be installed using FOMM to make it simpler These are just my opinions so take them or leave them. Cheers, Audley
  8. Oh My Gosh I fixed it! Thanks so much EssArrBee! What I did was loaded up FalloutMO.exe in Inspector and changed the AA compatibility mode to New Vegas.
  9. Nvidia Control Panel. I don't use Inspector or really know what that is. I have a GTX 760.
  10. Alright I did what you said and found out is indeed the games implemented AA. I tried forcing AA through the control panel but the game looks horrible. Either that or I am doing it wrong.
  11. I thought this too. However, I am only using the in game AA and not forcing anything with the Nvidia control panel. The 4GB loader has the directions of using Fallout4GB.exe but the .exe is the problem. Changing the command line to Fallout4GB or in this case FalloutMO.dll will solve this problem for me while not making a lot of since as to why. If I run NVSE through MO I don't have this problem at all. Or, if I run Fallout4GB through the regular .exe and not through MO it is fine. Of course it has to be a problem with AA right? If I disable AA I have the same problem, I even double checked in the Control Panel to make sure I was not running any kind of AA or AF on any of the fallout .exe's.
  12. I had this really strange problem occure while using MO and FNV 4GB. When I launche FNV 4GB unmodded, default .ini's no Nvidia CP tweaks, no ENB's, I get this weird texture shimmer on some objects. Like it's affecting the AA or Transparency Multisampling for some reason. I tried messing with every setting I could in the Nvididia CP and .ini files. However, if I launch FNV 4GB outside of MO its fine. If I launch FOSE or just the regular fallout NV .exe in MO it's fine. I can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong. I am going to take a picture and then I will update this post. Edit: I tried to take a picture but it really only happens when your character moves. It only appears on a couple objects like fences and trailers. Its really annyoing and any help would be appriciated. Thanks. Edit: I found a fix! After about an hour of troubleshooting I found one. What you need to do is change -laaexe .FalloutMO.exe to -laaexe FalloutNV4GB. I just removed the . and the .exe so you could keep it FalloutMO. It still starts up with MO and works just fine. If you are having this problem. It seems to make some random file. I have no way of telling if this still has it so it is using 4GB. If someone could help me confirm or deny this that would be great. Edit: I did some more testing and it seems on my end that the .FalloutMO.exe (or any) that FNV4gb creates can cause some texture glitches when launched through MO. I changed it to -laaexe FalloutNV4GB.dll and then looked at with Task Manager and CFF explorer. The >2 flag was set so I am somewhat positive that it is working properly.
