  1. Awesome, thanks! I'm going through the latest STEP guide when I have free time (organizing through Wrye Bash finally on a dedicated SSD) and everything seems to being running fine. I'm still getting the installers configured and haven't installed any mods yet though. Hopefully it will continue to run smooth! Also, will the latest STEP guide support the new Dawnguard DLC? Or should we wait until the new version is released? Thanks!
  2. Hrmm.. thanks! It seems like when I reinstalled steam then skyrim (following the guide as you mentioned), steam automatically updated me to patch 1.6 (the one w horse combat). Am I correct in assuming that I'm stuck with this patch and can't rollback now? Thanks for your advice!
  3. Damn. Â Like Farlo I'm just getting back into the STEP groove myself. Â Just installed a new SSD and reinstalled Skyrim to version 1.6 without a 1.5 backup WOO!!! Â I'm bummed that you can't roll back to Skyrim patch 1.5.26 as called for by the current STEP guide. Â Guess I'll just have to manage with patch 1.6 =(
  4. I know this might be posted elsewhere, but how do you rollback to a previous Skyrim patch? Trying to reinstall the latest STEP and it calls for Official Patch v1.5.26.0. Seems like an easy fix for me but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
  5. Okay thanks I'll give it a shot, I'm gonna be traveling all weekend so I won't have time until Sunday. I'll let you know if I was successful then!
  6. Hey Guys, I think I might be running into an issue similar to torminater's. I just started getting into Wrye Bash with the new STEP guide release and think it'll be a great way to organize and manage all the STEP mods. So far, I've installed the WB "standalone" and all the other goodies (ie skse, BOSS, etc) pretty much following the WB guide on the wiki. I'm now at the step where I need to move my mod downloads into the ..\Skyrim Mods\Bash Installers folder and am having some difficulties locating them under the WB "installers" tab. The mods I'm looking for are the first couple big content mods listed in the first set of the STEP guide (section B1 I believe). These are Skyrim Realistic Overall and the like. I've been leaving the mod downloads in their packed .7z format and simply moving them to the \Bash Installers folder. These doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm unsure if I should unpack and rename them for WB>Installers to recognize them or if I have the UAC enabled (pop-up warned about this when I downloaded WB) or something I'm not seeing. In summary, I can't get the mods I downloaded to appear in WB's "Installers" tab and don't know why :( . Thanks for any help / suggestions!
  7. I liked this mod when I first saw it, but haven't tried installing it yet. I have been using Kill Move+ (link) for some time but I think the author hasn't updated it since February. Is "The Dance of Death" or "Advanced Kill Moves" a good substitute for Kill Move+? I love watching my guy send bandit heads rollin'
  8. FYI i tried the mod out. It did what it was supposed to, didn't really blow me away or anything. nbd
  9. Hey, Seems like a pretty simple content mod that can add to immersion. It's blowing up on the nexus and I was wondering if anyone has tried it out yet? Doesn't seem to have any compatibility issues. Here it is if this is new for you: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13931
  10. Awesome! Glad I could help out. You should check it out again, the OP on reddit updated the Post Processors used (and screenshot comparisons) to include "Realistic Lighting with Customization" and "Confidence-Man ENB". Looks like he's been getting some good feedback from the community there (including the author of RL Plutoman101). Keep up the good work!
  11. check out the arrow mods posted on the skyrim nexus (in the April 1, 2012 news section) https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/news/article.php?id=95 some pretty cool tweaks for archers!
  12. Hey, I was browsing reddit's r/skyrim page on my phone at work and came across some really great comparison screenshots that this one guy (Nordus_Cursorius) put together of 13 different Post-Process injectors. Not sure if any are applicable to the STEP guide currently in the works, and I think the v2.0.1a guide calls for "Realistic Lighting with Customization". Anyway, hope this helps: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/rufwd/infopost_processing_comparisons_after_a_long/
