  1. Lexy: Yeah I saw that one too. Looks good. Lordx: Hadn't noticed that one. Have a play with it and see what you think. Alkira: Yes, I noticed that one too. I'd forgotten it. Thanks for reminding me. For now, just leave the patch out of the merge. I haven't been able to see if there's any issues with it in game. Am still working on getting Royal Armory in first. Also how to handle the patching for it. I know darkside's sent the author a DSR patch, and he's also done a patch that gives the NPC's the new weapons, but the author himself might be updating the mod to do this automatically. Waiting to see if/when that's done. Also there's new LOTD patches for said Royal Armory and also Moon and Star. I have the older versions of these patches from when they were standalone on the patches page. They're now part of the installer. As far as I'm aware these two are not part of the special LOTD Merged patch that's in the guide currently. Will work out how to handle this also. Might take a closer look at the patches themselves and see whether they can be rolled into the CR (least preferred) or we change the LOTD patches install and do a discrete merge instruction for all the patches, (more preferred) or I ask nicely if the patches people might roll them into a new version of the Merged Patch. (Most preferred). Polished up my working with a Wiki over the weekend and updated everything that's in the guide now back to the post made by rayhne where he collated them all. If anything looks hinky, let me know. It's been a while since I worked with wikis :)
  2. Yep. It's to get stuff installed in the right order, pretty much. 1) I'm a Win7 user and an avowed Win10 hater. Having said that Win10 does have some good features too. I'd pick 7 but others have got Win10 working Ok as well. 2) Don't worry about installing Neovalen's CR patch, as when you add this guide's mods, you install a new CR patch that fixes issues in this guide and well as includes all of Neovalen's fixes that are still relevant.
  3. SirJesto, have you got an answer on this?
  4. And of course the wiki's slow at treacle... This may take some time, people. :D
  5. Cheers Lexy. Am eating breakfast and will get stuck in pretty shortly.
  6. @Rogerooo: Vanilla Skyrim requires you to have Smithing at level 14 to be able to temper anything to 'fine', perk or otherwise. I don't think that changes even due to Ordinator or CCOR. I'd have to look closer though.
  7. Ouch... not good.
  8. Yeah well the CR sub-guide touch up will be a long term gig, really. I think with the semi-standalone it wont be too tough. Have a link to Neo's guide, and a mention to return to this guide at the adding mods point. Then just a full list of mods including the one's in Neo's list. Will make it a little easier to follow, plus if when SKSE and a good working mod manager pops up for SSE it'll be nice and portable, I hope. Anyway, it's now my weekend. I have a full case of cold ones in, plenty of coffee and rice snacks. Sunday is gonna be Edit the bejasus out of a wiki day :)
  9. You don't select just the ones you're merging. You should also go up through the list and you'll see other plugins that are in red italics, and you'll need to check them too. Yes run it through MO. And no, have everything selected in MO. I always move what I'm merging to the bottom of the load order and make sure they're all continuous. Select what you're merging and as above any other plugins Merge wants selected. When you have them all selected, the OK button becomes active.
  10. It's not so much breaking it into modulars, it's more making sure what's on the itemized page more closely resembles what's actually in the pre-made. :) ALSO: Has anyone else experienced the issue referred to by Shersingh above?
  11. Delete the current merge, retick all the merged esps etc and redo the merge first.
  12. Realistically, I could do what they did with YASH and Reqtified guides. They basically link the excellent setup parts of Neo's guide as a separate page, and then list the mods in full standalone. That will save some work, and allow Neo some time to get his mod list up to date while I can work on this guide as a semi-standalone. Make sense? Also, as a general aside... Can I get some idea as to how many people just use the provided Conflict Resolution patch, rather than roll their own by following the guide? I ask cause the actual itemized guide refers to a few mods that aren't actually in the guide any more. I was going to upgrade that as well, but would like an idea of it's relative importance as opposed to updating mods and install instructions. Finally, it would appear the new SRO might be a little sapping since I believe it's all basically 4K textures. Might need to do a little pick and choosing on this, as suggested at by darkside in his post above.
  13. I have absolutely no idea how that's happened... Anyone got a clue for NordPride here? You could maybe try the Nexus forums for LOTD and see if it's happened to anyone else.
  14. No it's actually not missing. This guide by itself isn't stand alone, but an addon over Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited guide. That guide contains Falskaar. What I suggest you do is install Neovalen's guide first and make sure that's OK. Then come back here and use the guide here to add on over Neo's guide with the mods in this guide. There's an integration guide at the top so you can see how it all laces in together.
  15. Exactly what it says it is. This is the classic plugin with an error. You definitely don't want it winning so patch it out.
  16. The adding the folder 'prometheus' and associated is done as part of allowing No Snow Under the Roof to use the improved meshes of Stunning Statues of Skyrim, and the procedure's part of Neovalen's guide. Do you have a save at a handy location before you went up the steps? If so load that and have another try.
  17. Oh goody. More work for this little black duck. Fun Fun. :D Thanks for the info people. Looks like I'll be needing IV Coffee, STAT! Regards SRO, I'll have a close look at that first. I always preferred SRO to Noble with the old version, but can understand why it was changed.
  18. You'll possibly get the occasional little stutter on cell loads etc, but should go OK.
  19. Had a look at the two new LOTD Patches and they look fine. So we'll have them in as well. I'll be sitting down this weekend and overhauling the guide.
  20. Good point. Will check that. If in doubt, leave it packed. Have all but done the reinstall, but didn't include those LOTD patches for Royal Armory and MAS as mentioned above. Will take a peek at those tonight.
  21. Thanks rayhne. Adds them to the list of stuff to fix.
  22. If you've never done that before then that's the cause of the issues you've had in the past. It's often mentioned on some ENB's pages and is also mentioned above in the ENB troubleshoot thread. However, having said that... We've all been there before and worry not it wont be the first mistake made in your modding lifetime. Probably wont be your last, either. Good to see it was a quick fix.
  23. In the original Skyrim launcher have you turned off both 'Antialiasing' and 'Anisotropic Filtering'? Your SkyrimPrefs.ini sugegsts you may not have.
  24. EEk, triple post, bad Nozzer. Just regards updates etc: Royal Armory will be in for sure and I have it on the to install list. The Sithis armor will be in eventually. There's a small issue ATM where the cuirass and cloaks from Cloaks and Winter is Coming share slots and you can't have one with the other. The guy behind the Sithis armor's hopefully pushing a fix soon. Am still reinstalling and all that, so shouldn't be far off and I'll get things updated etc.
  25. ME2 yeah it is. Still I'll worry about that later. Just didn't want to pass up a freebie. :)
