Yeah i figured as much. But with the patch im thinking of, there should be no problem at all. Plus it will add some continuity to the mod, by it starting with a note from helgen asking for help, and being set to start a while after the game begins. Otherwise you have a mod that instantly begins rebuiding a town that was obliterated by a dragon attack. Which is a bit wrong IMHO.

First of all......meh?!?!?! LOL Yeah, HR has a single starting quest, it give you a quest to read a book, then after reading the book it all follows on from there. But as i said, the author says, to only load the esp AFTER the bandits have taken (4 days) over helgen, and LAL 2nd boulder drop has occured in the caves. He recommends lvl 20 so my thought was to edit the starting peramiters so it begins at lvl 15. This way your closer to the target lvl, and 99% certain you`ll have passed the 4 day mark. Only thing is, if your playing LAL, theres a possibility you could hit lvl 15 without touching the main questline. Would it be possible to set it to start, at lvl 15 ONLY if youve completed the first few main quests? Im thinking, condition it to be activated after completion of Dragon Rising but only if at lvl 15. This is why i was thinking a courier could work. Set the courier to find you after completing the Dragon Rising quest aslong as your lvl 15. PLus it make a bit more sense rather than suddenly getting a book in your pocket to read, and having a quest, you get a note from helgen asking for help

Could be a plan. As an honorary member of the GoogleFu school of ninjas, i`ve been looking and found a tut on creating a Quest that starts with a Courier delivering you a note. Kinda bored right now, so gonna give that a go...Try make a patch to overide the Helgen Rebuilt starting with a Courier that finds you at lvl 15 to give you a note, asking if you can help......blah blah....and then begins the quest for ya. Possibly re-write the text for the first quest to make it fit...If i cant figure it out, i`ll give her a shout. Maybe see how she does her mod

Maybe setting it to start at level 15? By lvl 15 theres a damn good chance 5 days will have passed, and it kinda works too coz the author recommends starting the quests at about lvl 20. Anyone know how to do this? I dont have a clue and im just gonna be messing with CK untill i figure it out

Well, the mod author suggest waiting atleast 4 days after leaving helgen, to make sure the bandits have taken over the place, and that LAL has the triggers correct. So im thinking, setup an override patch, to delay launch of the initial Helgen Reborn quest. But as i have no idea how to do that im just gonna be playing. Im thinking make it wait 5 days after the first quest has been completed (to give the game a while to settle in and make sure that helgen has been taken over by the bandits) Just gotta figure out how to do that

Erm, its kinda in the words.....ALL TEXTURES. I ran the entire MO folder at 2048x2048 and half normals, then i ran DDSopt at the smaller settings for the specified mods.

But looking at the decription, it seems like the guy has made a good quality mod, but my issue is that you can`t start a new game with it installed. He says it causes issues. My question, Is there any way to edit this mod, or a better option, create a patch that will only start helgen reborns questlines etc, when you get to a certain point...Perhaps after you`ve killed the first dragon in the main story questline.....That way theres no need to install the mod halfway into a game to avoid glitches. I figure it must be possible coz AS-LAL edits the main questlines somewhat. And this mod would a be a great addition to any game.

Hey guys, im bored at home, so thought i`d take some shots of my game so you can see.... There is almost no noticeable drop in quality with the lowered resolutoins on textures....I know you will find some, but thats coz your sat looking at a picture, when your running around the Skyrim, you dont stop to stare at the twigs on the floor, or to count the spines on the trees, unless your testing a new mod. Yes i am running the magic mods at 512, but thats just me trying to fix an irritating, combat freeze i was getting. Managed to fix it by lowering the magic textures. And IMHO you can`t tell the difference during gameplay. Only if you take screenshits and try to find differences you notice them. my game still looks amazing

Current SR is more than useable. As someone said, its a good place to start to learn making your own additions and patches. As for the 3.1GB crash, its SSSSooooooooooooooOOOOooooo easy to fix, just DDSopt all your textures packs to 2048x2048 and do half sized normals. The game still looks amazing, and runs a hell of chunk below the limit. Im running 350 mods, in MO. With 230 .esp`s. My RAM usage never gets above 2.6Gb and my game looks just as good as with stupid sized textures. (Unless you go out of your way looking for differences) Can`t wait for the LE though, i think neo`s gonna be adding in some great new mods, that i just cant ne bothered to patch

Just to check, you are using MO v0.12.9 and NOT the newer v0.99 one......the newest one has been giving alot of people problems. And your are running BOSS from within MO? From the dropdown menu? -

Well, the sunrays issue the only thing i had to do with E ENB, the rest of it is amazing. Plus it works with ELFX. I recently swapped from RLO, due to the fact it needs ALOT fewer tes5edit tweaks with other mods -

Ive never had the attack bug. But all of my combat freezes have been fixed since i DDSopt`d all the mods. I decided to do the magic and effects mods so small, coz...wel...even though they are awesome, they`re not exactly quality dependant.....you dont exactly sit and stare at the fireball, or glowing effect while your fighting 3 guys. -

The latest E ENB, is great. made to work with ELFX, and enb v0.188 Only thing i had to do was turn off the Sunrays, coz they seem to go right through everything, but the rest of it is amazing -

With my DDSopt choices, im running full SR and about 20 extra mods, and my maximum VRAM is 2.7, averaging at about 2.2 and the game still looks as good as it did before the opt.....doing half sized normals really is an amazing feat of work. And doing the magic mods, footprints, and Wet n Cold at 512 + 256 normals sorted out my freezes -

I used to get ALOT of freezes, i`ve posted about them many times, and found no solutions other than people telling me to chek my overclocks and try re-installing.... After many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many hours of testing. I managed to figure out my issues. Your getting the same magic freezes i was....I fixed this by DDSopting all the magic mods down to 512 with 256 normals.....yes its small, but when your looking at the magic, its being cast and flying around, you WILL NOT notice any difference. i know this sounds stupid, but try taking turning off SMIM in your Mod Organizer, and all related patches.....In my testing ive found it to be the main problem with outdoor freezing, i cant figure out why, but it definately the culprit.... Besides, the only thing that not having SMIM means is a few less rounded fruits, and the ropes are a bit chunky...i can live with that. Its always been there. Even before DDSopt. Its just with the SRO textures. to me, i look at it, and i see the boulders dipping into the ground. But i`m now using parallax and it`s definately sorted the issue for me. It`s almost asif the SRO textures were made with parallax in mind. Parallax, has got 6 mods that i can see..roads, mountains, and 4 cities.

The ENB makes no difference to the effect. My issue is that the texture just looks wrong. As i`ve said it looks like the stones are dipping down into the floor not bulging out of it like they should

Hey guys, just a quick question. The road textures in Skyrim Realistic Overhaul seem to me, to be inverted. They look like the boulders are going into the ground not coming out of it. How can i fix this? I have no idea what im doing with editing textures, but to me these deffinately need sorting out. Road with SRO Road without SRO To me this is really noticable and its starting to get distracting
