Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD for Skyrim and Enderal 2.98
7hr08ik replied to sheson's topic in DynDOLOD & xLODGen
Additional information My Lord, I am running with MO2 I have tried ONLY having the Vanilla resources and DynDO LOD active in MO2, but the problem persists. I have managed to narrow it down, to having Tamriel worldspace selected in the build options of DynDOLOD. If i run without them, it will run through without any problems. If this is being caused by conflict between a couple of mods, then how is it that this occurs when only having DynDOLOD and vanilla assets active in my mod list? I have checked, and verified my installation. But i am currently at a loss as to whats happening DynDOLOD_TES5_log.7z- 470 replies

Hello My Lord, With the latest 2.41 release i am recieving an error that i am unable to trace the issue for. I must confess it has been several months since Rimming the Sky, and upon my return, and subsiquent updates fo mods, I find myself in the current situation. I have tried the following; Restoring unmodified(Tes5Edit cleaned) vanilla esm/esps Removing the Solitude exterior from Resources 64 and 32 bit Rebuilding my smashed patch, skyprocs etc (Soooooo many times) Added DynDOLOD to AV exceptions I have looked in Tes5Edit at the afformentioned error but am unable to see anything in that item. It seems to be there is an issue copying the CELL data. But there is nothing (seemingly) wrong with that cell My Firstborn is yours, DynDOLOD_TES5_log.txt bugreport.txt- 470 replies

[WIP] Mator Smash

Awesome, So it's a "safe" idea to just auto bash/smash the entire mod list. Aslong as i keep in mind the new 'Smash. All' is NEW edit, So glad to get away from that bash tagging. It seemed like a good idea. But soooo damn fiddly. P.S Am I right in thinking i should skip Skyrim.esm? -
[WIP] Mator Smash
7hr08ik replied to Mator's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
Notice me Senpai! Hey Mator. I've been a big fan of this and your other works (Namely Merge Plugins) for a while. I wanted to pick your brain on my usage of this tool. Firstly this is how I currently use it; 1- Within Tes5Edit Run Bash Tag Autodetect Version: 1.4.1 (by fireundubh) (Each esp individually) 2- Mator Smashed For added thoroughness, Run LooT, Apply additional Bash Tags to mods 3- Then Check through Tes5edit for any conflicts/issues that can arise. Usually just design choices, or things that got merged when they shouldn't be.But, I just got v0.4 and suddenly decided to check out the auto function. (Bash. All newly Smash. All) Now my question is, if i was a woman, would you make babies with me? And is it best for me to continue with my current routine? Or, is this safe? 1- Mator Smash Tag full mod list with Smash. All 2- Tes5edit check -

Well it seems we have found and fixed my issue... Thank you so much for pointing me to ETaC.... It also seems I forgot to have the "copy assets" option ticked in merge plug-ins. Thing is, that's all that I forgot. I set all the ESPN to esm when merging etc.... And it didn't work.... But seems OK now.... Not a clue... But thanx anyways... So... When merging ETaC patches make sure to set master esp to esm. Make sure merge plug-ins settings are as above link. Thanks again. Now to create my crazy catman :-) -

Ok, so loading the game up, after running ASIS with all my ETaC patches still separate and it all works fine.... So it seems there is something wrong with my merged ETaC patches....... And you mentioning FormIDs reminded me of something I read somewhere.... Think someone was saying that when merging patches NEVER renumber FormIDs... Going to try that. Fingers crossed -

Report 1.... Checked both merged ETaC and merged ETaC patches (I did them separately) and they are both clean and error free.... Removed Merged patches from my list.... Deleted CELL from USKP built ASIS...... BOOM.... LOADS FINE!! Thank you, Thank you thank you..... I'm not using RSchildren though.... But I'm thinking it could be the CRF patch.... Atleast I used merge script so I can remove singles from my merged and figure out what it was.... Once i get it down, I will report back so we can inform other poor people what to do -

7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
No, no. Missing master means it will ctd as the menu loads. But for me, it just hangs. The enb logo etc comes up, the background, but then it sits there waiting for the menu. The list boots fine. Even plays ok, before I build any of the SkyProcs. I tried just asis, no luck, just pama, no luck, combinations, no luck. I understand the issue with uskp 2.1.2 I have the patches for them. I also rolled back to 2.1.1. To me it seems like there is a mod in my list that is causing the SkyProcs to create some nasty data. I'm hoping someone out there knows what it is, without me having to go through each mod 1 by 1,and having the hour n half build time everytime I check a mod. That will take weeks!!! -
Hey guys, Im a long time modder and im at my whits end. Just been going through my mod list, updating and tweaking a few things, ready for a fresh playthrough. But For some reason, things have gotten squiffy.... My game loads fine, ENB etc, all working. But the Main menu (New, Load, Credits) Refuses to load. But only once i have built my SkyProc Patches. So im stuck. I have tried with USKP 2.1.2, AND with 2.1.1. I tried the workaround (delete CELL etc) But no good. Im using ASIS (for the NPC enchant fx ONLY) PaMa (never had issues, been using sincer begining of mod.) Dual Sheath (We all know this is fine) Tried with ASIS, without. Many combinations. But as it takes hour n half to build all the patches, im just hoping someone out there can look at my modlidt and tell my which mod is causing the glitch. PLEASE DO NOT, tell my to go through my list one by one. I am asking here before i have to do that. P.S. Also tried with AND without the updated patchers from PcaPP and Dual sheath modlist.txt plugins.txt

7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Loot puts it quite low in the list....after Run For Your Lives. Obviously it has quite a few cell records. Thinking it should probably go somewhere at the top, before Cutting Room Floor? -
Is this a good idea? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59829/? Discuss Mod created by GrandBulwark. It appears that he has gone through the procedure for fixing "57 navmeshes cannot be undeleted". But im wondering is this gonna cause issues? We've all been running skyrim for a long time now. And I've seen the procedures for fixing "cannot undelete" navmeshes in mods. But I've never seen anyone say about this for the DLC's. Would this cause issues with mods? Would the fixed navmeshes cause problems with mods that add buildings/towns/trees/quests/npcs?

Sluggish cell loading when running about outdoors
7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I GOT IT WOKRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From sheer strength of will and outright autistic determination i managed to get everything working beautifully well under windows 8.1. Firstly i realised that i hadn't actually installed the accidentally released "Update 1" i had installed the early released BETA for update 1. But microsoft cocked up again this week and "accidentally" put the update 1 on their servers again. I maged to get hold of it. Installed it and my entire PC runs ALOT smoother now. It really is great. Anyway.....Skyrim.....I ran my game and everything is going amazingly well.....no stutters at all. My RAM usage is less than on windows 7 but higher than it was when i was getting cock ups. Avg 4.5~5GB, and ~45fps. Im running most of SR:LE and a few extra mods that add more more more NPCs. I also removed the Timescale tweak in wryebash. We know its bad to go below 10 as it causes script mess, and quest mishmashes. I figure with my extensive mod list, going below vanilla has probably caused a few issues. I am still getting sluggish loading of items/trees/grass outdoors when i speedmult test it, but when running about at normal speeds it seems to be ok. The only other thing to do is spend weeks reinstalling ALL mods and games and progs, and testing all manner of combinations. Im not going to do that. Anyways, to summerize- -Timescale is on vanilla -Windows 8.1 works! Just dont use BETA updates, and install SLOWLY. -

7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
OK Not impressed.... After spending all day re-installing windows 7. I am still getting the problem. Not as bad but it is still there!!!!!!!!!!!! So i might aswell go back to windows 8.1. And start running through my mods. If Neo is not having any issues with Win 8.1 then its fair to say that the mods from SR:LE are safe to use. So i need to start the long process of going through the mods i have added ontop of that and finnd out which ones are causing my load lag. -

7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
@Neo I dont suppose in all of your mod testing and playing you've come accross any mods that increase load times? Most of my load order is from SR:LE but im using a few extra's aswell. If i can i'd love to get it sorted out so i can go back to Win 8.1. I actually quite like it, but Skyrim is a game changer for me. I've already tried lowering the number of texture mods im using. Tweaking the SKSE mem settings more. Taking out population mods. But none seem to work. Perhaps one of the script heavy mods? But which one? -

I've Installed Windows 8.1 from the DVD 3 times. And everytime, i get issues. I cant explain why, but it happens......According to microsoft compatibility site Skyrim isnt actually officially supported..So im guessing it must be driver thing.....THats the only reason why some people have problems and some dont. Anyways, im back on Win 7 now. I might go back to Win 8 in a few months, after the update 1 has been released. But i just couldnt figure t out. My system is more than capable, my mod order was reduced by about 20% and i just got continuous load stutter....in and outdoors -

Sluggish cell loading when running about outdoors
7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I removed footprints.....deleted it. But as it turns out, i was wrong, after a good hour of actual gameplay i started getting the issue right back...From what i can tell its just a windows 8.1 issue. From what i can gather windows 8.1 has either a problem, or a feature with memory managment. This causes the game to stutter when its trying to allocate new memory blocks. This explains why the game runs perfectly in vanilla but struggles in modded. The vanilla game, very rarely needs to use extra memory blocks above the standard 2GB. But a modded skyrim continuously needs extra RAM, hence the need for the new SKSE patch. When i wass running a more heavily modded game under windows 7, i was using between 3.5~4.5GB RAM. And it would frequently jump to atleast 6GB. But under windows 8.1, the game never goes above 4GB, hardly every goes above 3GB. So in my mind, when the game is trying to allocate more memory blocks, windows isn't handling that very well at all. And hence the stuttering, even though script latency as awesome, and framrates couldn't be better. HOWEVER The upcomming Windows 8.1 Update 1, is apparently going to fix ALOT fo the memory issues and bring Win8.1 to the top of the pedistal when it comes to OS speed and performance. It's not officially released until april 8th, but there is a leak of the official patch here - https://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/52611-DISCUSSION-Windows-8-1-Spring-2014-Update-RTM/page82?p=882751&viewfull=1#post882751 It was pu tup onto microsoft servers for dev's, but the comunity got a hold of it, and copied it to MEGA. So im going to try and install that. See wheat happens. If not im going to have to Re-install windows 7. -
Sluggish cell loading when running about outdoors
7hr08ik replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well.... I have reset my entire PC to stock values. Ran Skyrim PerfMon, copied my SSD contents reformated it, and put everything back on. But still no luck. I have been running the Convienient horses script latency test, and im getting 40~70ms average latencys. The min and max go from about 10 upto 300ms when the game stutters. But the average figures seem OK. However!!! I've messed about with a few more mods.....as this issue only happens to me outside i have done the following... Removed - - Dramatic Clouds - Etherial Auroras - HQLODS - Footprints Replaced - SFO Regular for SFO Basic Doing this has helped ALOT!!! The grass loads up as it is needed, all textures load quickly and responsively. I still get the odd split second twitch every now and then but thats expected with such a large mod list. (Most likely just huge level lists and all the extra NPC's added. The games latency has increased alot too.....as there are no longer any stutters and just a couple of twtches....the max values are only about 150ms. Still a tad high i know....but the averages are all 30~50ms. I suppose i could still do with removing a few mods. Over 400 in mod organizer and over 300 esp's inc. the patches (That get merged before gameplay) only 210 active. Im inclined to say that it was probably Dramatic clouds that was causing my issue. Because - - It only happened outdoors - It was not a script issue - The problem was not hardware related - It was simply the game taking too long to load textures after LODs. LODs were visible, but when getting closer the game would take far far FAR too long to update with the correct texture files...resulting in non-existent grass, and other textures being just LODs even when stood right next to the object.
