pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
gpthree replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I'll probably leave the majority of them on. Leaving off the ones that specifically state material types. To me, there's not much point of even having Immersive Armors if you arent going to see the diversity in the world since I dont particularly care to wear most of them myself. I'm thinking about removing them from crafting instead. That way I have to find someone wearing them to be able to use them. You could always make a patch that brings the armor values in line with Morrowloot distribution level. :) -

Here's a list of armor values pulled out of TESVEdit. This is just for the chest piece and I didnt list the pieces that have material names like dragon, glass, dwemer...etc. Not really sure what the baseline would be in comparison to Morrowloot though. Sorry for not explaining it better. GSDFan's explanation of the function I'm trying to use is much clearer. Since my main PC is connected to the main TV in the house. I was trying to figure out how to play Skyrim while the new wife still uses the TV. I'll probably just stick to other Steam games streamed from the PC to the Surface Pro 2 and stick to playing Skryim when I can get to the main PC itself. Or go back to NMM.....I'd rather not.
-
ugh. I hope that is not the only way. The main reason I'd want to do this is because I'd like to start the game without going to the main PC.

Does anyone have any experience with the Steam streaming function? I can get MO to start through Steam but then I Can't click SKSE or anything in MO.

Have you tried Skyrim Improved by Mofakin? It has some interesting perk changes. -

This is stickied in the Morrowloot 4E Edition: Since people have been asking continuously about making patches and I'm too busy working on the mod, anyone that has a basic knowledge of how the Creation Kit and TES5Edit works can make patches for mods they want. Here's the things you should do: 1) Open Morrowloot and the mod you want to patch on TES5Edit. 2) Open up "File Header" on both mods and edit the Record Flags. Change it to ESM. MAKE SURE YOU EITHER KEEP A BACKUP of the original ESP or CHANGE IT BACK after finishing your patching work. 3) Open Morrowloot.esp and the mod you want to patch on the Creation Kit. 4) Go find your mod's crafting recipes on the "Constructable Object" list 5) Open up vanilla recipes that Morrowloot changed, and see the "Conditions" 6) Copy Morrowloot's crafting conditions to the appropriate item recipes (I.E If your mod has a weapon named Orcish Fork, then use the conditions from Orcish recipes). Make sure you don't have multiple conditions of the same name (only copy the ones Morrowloot added) 7) With that, the crafting part is done. 8 ) Now for leveled lists which takes a bit more effort to do. Open up "Leveled Item" 9) This part only consists of following changes Morrowloot does to the leveled lists. 10) An easy way to do this is just open up the lists containing weapons and armor, then removing the additional stuff your mod added. 11) You can easily tell which leveled list you should edit if all you see are just items that Morrowloot allows to be found in merchants and random loot and the rest being your mod's items. (I.E in leveled list X all items are steel or iron except for your mod's items that has everything from dwarven and above. Remove them and keep the lower tiered ones). 12) Avoid changing things that should be there though. Like for example, Morrowloot removes Orcish equipment from most merchants/random loot lists, but didn't remove them from leveled lists used by Orc NPCs. Another example would be not to change stuff like Dwemer loot, since it already properly contains Dwemer items and only used in Dwemer ruins. OPTIONAL: Place the higher tiered items from your mod into the game's world. Make sure the locations make sense, not blatantly out in the open (make it look natural), and don't put too much stuff out there. Remember, unlike the old Morrowloot you can craft the items, albeit with requirements. Hope this helps. I'm not THAT knowledgeable in how the CK works either. -
Apocalypse Spells and Tame the Beasts

I believe that script is a SkyUI script. It probably wont make a difference if its overwritten now. -
Great, thanks a lot.

Is there a way to disable the Wrye Bash splash screen? I thought i saw it was an option but I can seem to see how to do it.

Version 6.0 was the latest. There is no permission information in the readme.

SKYRIMLE Wintermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim (by Enai Siaion and T3nd0)
gpthree replied to keithinhanoi's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Maybe I'm not really sure what the NPC Enchantments Fix does, but isnt this different right off the bat? Features [*]104 unique new enchantments: 57 armor enchantments and 47 weapon enchantments. [*]Thousands of new enchanted items added to the game's loot lists, NPCs and vendor inventories. -
pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
gpthree replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
It was never part of REGS. -
I took the suggestion in the nexus forum thread and used True Daughters of Skyrim with this mod and they look great together. I usually always play with some type of face or elf replacer because I hate the ugly elves in skyrim. I'm going to try and use this and go without a replacer because this looks really great.

It plays fine with a keyboard. I think there are a few mods out there that issues with controllers, but for the most part its rare.
-
I like both of them. You have to use the One controller wired to a usb port while its possible to use a 360 one wireless if you get the PC dongle for it.

Is there a mod that... (Mod Detectives)
gpthree replied to rootsrat's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Not for all the Misc items I dont think, but you can simulate that with weapons, armors, books, torches and a few other things using Encumbering Loot Armor and Weapons. Your able to change how much unequipped items weigh. For instance and unequipped piece of armor could weigh 4 times as much as it normally would, representing it being very burdensome to haul around. -
Selling stolen items to fences - question
gpthree replied to gpthree's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Consoling my way to the answer isnt much fun. I have another one for you. Can you pickpocket in plain sight of people and succeed or does the sneak eye HAVE to be closed or else its an auto fail? -
I'm pretty sure I enjoy messing around and updating to the latest version of mods than actually playing game. Because of that I havent really gotten that far in the game over the past couple years... Anyway, if you sell a stolen item to a Fence, can you buy it back? If so, does it still have the stolen flag on it?
