wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Thc002 replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hi, it seems that quotsfan changed the numbers in his *SkyRe ReProccer Compatibility Patches* archive... Cant find the numbers you suggest to install (e.g. 02-01). But anyway, great work pal! -
Do you have the problem since the beginning of your playthrough?

What other AA settings did you use? Is it just SMAA alone or in combination with hardware-AA? ty

TWO GTX 690s IN SLI MODE
Thc002 replied to Melkesideck's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Is downsampling superior to SGSSAA? -
Hi, I cant seem to get SMAA Injector to work in Skyrim anymore, since one of the latest Steam updates (?). I have placed all files from the smaa-zip in my Skyrim folder and start skse via the Skyrim Performance Monitor. I dont use any ENBs or other mods that make use of a d3d9.dll. Hitting the pause key ingame (keybind for toggling SMAA) has no effect at all. I play with 4xSMAA +4xSGSSAA and quality SSAO on a 670ftw if that helps. ty

lol. Excuse for what exactly? I learned in school, that the far most people in medieval times did not wear any underwear. So with this concept in my mind, I just expect them to be nude under their main cloth. If thats not the case and I find some shiny golden bras and slips instead, Im confused. That is all.

I just wish the developers at Beth had not used as many torches as they did. RLO is really a bit too orange right now, for my taste. Does anyone know if there is some semi-easy workaround via reducing saturation (maybe via drivers or post-processing, or even ENB)? I love RLO and COT, but that orange all over is hardly bearable.

As the title suggests Im looking for a realistic and lore friendly mod to remove the not-so-lore-friendly underwear everyone in Skyrim seams to wear. Apart from this, the mod should change as little as possible. I Dont want hairy bears or size d breasts, or any of that stuff ;) ty

why is it currently not included in STEP? -
For me with EEO the elves look a lot less like they used to in Morrowind. Would never ever install this mod :(

When it comes to AI of enemys, the combination of deadly combat and pise asis (both terrific mods) is still unbeaten imo.

Wow, good to know that early in the game indeed! I cant find any proper advice for SFO anywhere though ;) -

Ok, thanks for the helpful reply! Do you now if there is a general rule for mods that use esps but no explicit scripting files like Auto Unequip Ammo? -
Do you folks follow any special procedure, when updating bigger mods like vurts flora overhaul? As "clean saves" have a bad repute for some time now, Im really not sure what to do to get the latest versions with as little threat for my savegame as possible.

Hey Besidilo, youre definitely right to suppose that the image quality of nV card is superior to AMDs. I owned a 7970 (3gb) and gave it back to get a 670 (4gb), just because the image quality sucked on AMD, especially since there is no proper AO implementation. Might be the complete opposite for other games, but is definitely the case for Skyrim imo.

Hi, I have a question regarding Elys Community Uncapper, as I have seen it is now part of STEP: What customization via the ini-file do you Guys use? Also I'm right now not really sure, if it does any changes at all, without customization. I'm using ace and asis and would just like to level a little slower. Thanks again

I can confirm that Skyrim Starts crashing for me, the moment it hits 3gb vram usage.
-
Are you really sure about that? I just did a quick compare of the file sizes and the *compatible version* Â is about 20mb smaller than the original UHRP. I see that some of the change might be through losing the compression that a bsa provides. But 20mb?

Also they released (pre-release) versions of the tool radeonpro, which can give you AO via drivers in Skyrim. Though the last time i checked it looked not so good, compared to the NV one. Hell, to be honest this was the single reason i switched my new 7970 to a 670. lol. check here:https://www.guru3d.com/files_details/radeonpro_rc1_download.html

Updating a mod via wrye bash
Thc002 replied to Thc002's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Thank you, this will help me lot! -
Hey z, yes of course. I did use all ini-tweaks STEP suggests. I even changed mouse Drives, checked my fps via fraps and so on. Nothing changed, till i read something on some forum, that this nvInspector setting may lead to mouse lags in some games.

Dear folks, I have a question regarding the best way to update mods, when I do have a running and heavily modded Skyrim already. In my case its about the unofficial high-res patch by Arthmoor: he made an essential update to it yesterday, which I do need, as I have his patch installed. Will it be best to just uninstall the old version and install the new one afterwards, or would it make more sense to overwrite The old files directly in the zip archive? do i have to use The annual functionality? as his patch is one of the first mods in my load order, will the parts that should be overwitten by other mods automatically be overwritten again after reinstalling? thank you
