  1. I'm sorry, not much to do when the author has hidden the file without giving a reason.
  2. Then put the FNVLODGen Resources folder above where the guide instructed you to place JIP NVSE. i.e. Before everything but the unmanaged folders and (potentially) the optimized texture folders.
  3. The merge doesn't seem to provide the same result in every case, hence the bash tags applied differ from time to time (and I am probably going to remove the reference tags from the guide soontm).
  4. Backup the MO directory and reinstall the game somewhere else through Steam, then paste in the MO directory again and reinstall the NVSE & ENB files (and whatever else you have installed outside of MO).
  5. If the necklaces in question have models for both genders the game engine will automatically make females use the female version and vice versa. Could be that the necklaces only have one model, but it was my understanding that the reason some of them were only given to females was because pearl necklaces don't look all that good on male rangers and et cetera. Companions cannot die in nor-hardcore mode by the default, but with JIP C&C you can use the menu (which you have to access through selecting the companion's portrait and pressing a certain key I think you can set in the MCM) to change that for either mode.
  6. Charisma is not useless, but it's not directly tied to speech. In addition to buffing speech and barter with +2 per point, it gives +5% to companion damage and armor per point, which can be very useful if you play like hardcore mode was originally envisioned, since companions can permanently die. There are probably some more charisma-related perks than the two in vanilla because of more perks as well, but no other skill checks IIRC. The question about the necklaces would probably be better answered by the authors (they both check in her occasionally). I can, however, point out that if there are gender-specific models for the necklaces, then the model should change based on your gender, not who you looted them from.

  9. Feel free to add them. @Noobsayer, darkside: There is a minor need for one, but it requires some scripts to be rewritten. I have done that for myself, but my mod list isn't exactly the same as F&L's recommended one, hence I can't just share my plugin.

  11. Same. Besides, I play through games at way too slow a rate to need an upgrade before I eventually move for university.
  12. Weapon modders are really lazy with balancing. Camon's FG42 has 627 dps, for comparison the highest in the vanilla game is the CZ57 Avenger with 390 dps. Okey, I'm going to pretend the FG42 is the American T-44 prototype (except with a mag) and make it use .30-06 Springfield, which I'm also making Camon's BAR use and in the future Trentosaurus' Springfield rifle (will probably add all of his weapons).

  14. Would anyone using my pack be sad if I ripped the 7.62mm NATO cartridge from the WotNM plugin? It's basically the same as the .308 Winchester round (and according to Wikipedia you can fire them from 7.62mm NATO guns) and I would kinda like to have shops offer a bit less variety of ammunition and a bit more of each type (the CaliberX mod is inherently flawed in that it offers no way to control how much of the ammunition is distributed, so an ammo type used by a single weapon will be equally represented as one used by ten different ones).

The flashlight belt uses the same slot as the armor addon used by the Prototype Riot Gear (armor addons are basically extra armors that you can't see in the pip-boy equipped by the game when you put on certain armors, mostly it's gloves, but the PRG uses half a modified combat armor to get different looking legs). I could change the addon slot used, but there are only three and it's likely it will just conflict with something else.
  16. Nothing wrong with NifSkope. Just my Windows throwing a "error 1114 a dynamic link library (dll) initialization routine failed" error whenever I try to launch it and the only solutions I could find for that was to run "sfc /scannow" which couldn't fix everything so I ran DISM which threw another error, but I eventually fixed that and it now completes successfully, however that didn't fix "sfc /scannow" not completing and I haven't really found another case where that has happened. Eventually I just gave up.

For people who are (hopefully not eagerly) awaiting my next update for the Lore Friendly Equipment Pack, I'm still working on it, but windows won't let me use NifSkope so my hopes of turning the M2A1 into a M1A1 were crushed. :confused: Just realized that the 12.7mm bullet is basically the .50 AE, so making the Desert Eagle shoot its own ammunition probably just clutters up the leveled lists necessarily. I will therefore be removing the .50 AE from my next update to the "Project Nevada - Equipment Module" and either make the DE use .44 Magnum again, or change it to 12.7mm. Now don't you worry about your shop lists looking nice and tidy because of that. I will be adding the .30 Carbine round for the M2A1 instead.

I would check out stuff, but whenever I go back to FNV I feel obliged to continue my work on my weapons pack and a lot of the weapons in C&S pack are in need of some serious nerfing (they seem to do the same thing Millenia does a lot, which is balance automatic weapons with semi-auto damage rates, so they end up incredibly overpowered in terms of dps). :confused:
  20. Cirosans: Can't say, haven't heard of it before. Might have been because the plugin number was much higher than it currently is before we switched to Merge Plugins Standalone, might have been because SRB didn't think it was worth including, or because he hadn't heard of it (like me). In any case it was before my time. JSawyer - Ultimate Edition wasn't around the last time I had the time to update the guide.
  21. It should be moved under Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision to avoid the confusion. I'm in a very busy period right now so I can't fix it for a while, but anyone is welcome to make that change. Darkside, Katopill, perhaps one of you would like to move the note?
  22. The best explanation for this is just that it builds the virtual directory every time you start the game based on how stuff is arranged in the GUI, hence the any changes you make to your setup will be implemented in the order you have arranged it in when you launch the game next.
  23. That would be nice, though my main reason for asking was that it would be a requirement for it to be included in F&L.
