  1. - I am not in PA - I have 2 suits standing in Sanctuary though. - Crashing in Concorde Here is my plugins.txt
  2. with your patch Scrap Everything patch I new CTD on loading savegame... so that didn't help. Bugger
  3. I have scrap everything as the last (just after worldspace and modwiki patches).. I'm gonna try your new patch you just uploaded. See if that'll help :) I'm guessing it would work with the 2.03 build?
  4. for some reason I'm getting more CTDs than normal with the 2.02 build. Usually at area transitions.. anyone got any tips?
  5. Correction.. it's called Big World Project but it includes the Big Picture (AI Overhaul compilation) mod. Big Picture (BP) is the mod that, for me, got the ball rolling in the Baldurs Gate (BG) community in terms of modding. Before it it was mostly simple and few weidu scripts (and something even more archaic before this) to mod BG. With BP it big compilations were starting to see the dawn.. Link to the program and the page has links to various discussions sites about it https://bitbucket.org/BigWorldSetup/bigworldsetup/overview
  6. so I should install the wartags even though it's in a different "plugin" ?!?
  7. MODWiki - Power Armor - Patch.esp missing masters "Fallout4WT.esp". I've used the following plugins: - Modern Weapons - ZWs F4 Power Armor Overhaul - Worldspace without WotC - Fallout 4 HD Reworked Project Revised I havn't installed the FO4 War Tags as the guide clearly indicates to only install 1 plugin per section (I choose the ZW one).
  8. "Interiors Enhanced - Darker Ambient Light and Fog" is mentioned in both core and the Modern Weapons plugin... remove from the place it doesn't belong and the plugin "Modern Weapons" also have armor in it.. kinda confuses the reader
  9. Just a small tidbit of information... the first game I ever modded was Baldurs Gate (1 and 2) and the modding community of these are still going very strong and has evolved a lot. Today it's (mostly) an automated process with special programs and scripts handling all the settings etc. The Big Picture (i believe it's called) is a program you tell which addons you want, how to set them up etc. and then the program "automatically" pulls the requested addons from around the web, installs them, sets them up etc.
  10. I've just stopped my 2.0 install (w. modern weapons) because things got WAAY to easy at lvl 20ish. I was so "lucky" that a .308 Lapua M22 dropped for me. With some further modding, that thing did around 250ish damage pr. shot... gone was the excitement from running around midtown.. I could 1-shot all non-legendaries, and 2-shot everything else. Is the new 2.0.2 more "stable" in this regard? hoping to reinstall everything tonight.. starting in 20 mins. ps. also what are all the dropbox links for? I can't easily see what is used for what when things are posted all over the place. I'd recommend you to instead just updating the 1st post for a more comprehensive overview. ohh.. and in my 2nd install..is it possible to avoid installing a thousand different calibers (without making patches break etc). It might be more "UHMERSIV", but for me it's taking it a step too far when I have to juggle this many different calibers. I don't mind some realism, but I also don't want it to be a hassle. Some abstraction is a good thing :)
  11. correct, having just tested that (consolidating hotkey.ini files in one file)... It should still be mentioned in the guide though, so people don't waste a day troubleshooting (like I just did).
  12. Not being able to get FO4Hotkeys to work, I set out on some detective works (deactivating and re-activating mods and try)... the culprit is the addon "Take Cover". With both Take Cover and F04Hotkeys one or the other doesn't work. I believe this is because they both share a hotkeys.ini file that seems to overwrite eachother (even when using MO2 vfs).
  13. I know that.. problem is they don't do anything even though I've assigned and action or weapon to that hotkey.
  14. I've slowly started F04 up (stil in Sanctuary) and I've just discovered that FO4 hotkeys addon doesnt work. I have the item in my bags, I can assign stuff to the various slots, but they wont activate when I'm pressing the appropiate hotkey....? ponder
  15. This works I missed your last point about disabling armor keywords.. it works now .)
  16. nopes.. havn't even gotten to Sanctuary yet.. I'll test it and I'll get back to you :)
  17. Well.. I can't answer that. I just got the pip-boy (early early beginning) and I've tried to inspect the vault jumpsuit and the 10mm pistol.. both crashed the game for me.
  18. When inspecting items (X) in the Pip-boy I get a CTD.. anyone know what the cause of this is and if it can be fixed?
  19. Tested new updates (pr. FOMOD v2.0.1). So far everything seems to be working - no play testing yet. Thanks for putting in the work :)
  20. after getting through the entire install - which went fine (although Weaponsmith Extended was a boring experience. 1 hr movie to explain something that could have taken 5 mins) - I've finally reached the patching... The fomod worked perfectly it seems (locked me out of choices I shouldn't take, and recommended the ones I should). BUT.... after installing it I have 4 files (from MODWIKI v2) that are missing masters. The files (and missing masters) are as follows: MODWiki - Armor - Patch.esp - missing SupermutantOverhaul-Armorsmith.esp MODWiki - INNR - Patch.esp - missing Raider Overhaul - AE Patch.esp MODWiki - Overhaul - Patch.esp - missing AkaWaterWorld.esp MODWiki - Worldspace - Patch.esp - missing Armorsmoth Elianora.esp - missing AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp I didn't install the Addon: GENERAL CLOTHES ADDON (Better_Settlers) because quite frankly I don't get that worked up about settlers having 923423 different items to wear. Rest of the guide been followed - to my best knowledge - to the letter.
  21. 1: Red Emphasis mine: Problem: OCD Decorator not installed at this point Solution: Move this note to the OCD Decorator installing instructions 2: Problem: No Crafting Experience Fix is "checked" even though an earlier step tell us to disable it after installation. Solution: Don't install it and remove earlier instructions. 3: Red emphasis mine Problem: Spelling error on Extrace (believe it's supposed to be Extract?). Secondly, how does one extract a BA2 file? it's not mentioned in the guide. Solution: Fix spelling error and find a way to educate the reader on how to extact BA2 files. 4: DEF_UI Problem: Newest version is 1.4 and install instructions doesn't fit for newest update. Solution: Update to newest DEF_UI and change install instructions. 5: Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE- Problem: Newest version is 2.2 Solution: Update to 2.2 More will come later.. just hit my head on the Weaponsmith Extended - which seems to be Core so I need to install it.. does seem like a hassle though :) I'll keep you posted! [EDI [EDIT]
  22. not complaining.. just eager :)
  23. Sounds great :) Keep up the good work. Btw.. I've got prior experience w. following both SRLE, Fear and Loathing in New Vegas and the FO3 install, and I'm great at spotting "errors". If you'd like I don't mind documenting them as I go - just beware that I can have tendencies to point out the smallest things, if I think something is ambiguous. I think at one point kelmych was a bit tired of me :/
  24. Great.. I started this install a few days ago and now in the middle of it it's being updated so I can't complete my current install :) Damnit.. great that the guide is alive, I just started at a wrong time :S When do you expect it to be 2.0-done? and playable? Thanks in advance.
  25. no rush :) concerning an earlier topic in this thread.. I think (for me) that some of the difficulties is that there are choices to take within the guide that are mutually exclusive. To me a guide should have one clear install (core and optionals as in the STEP), and then in packs? have various ways to alter the install.
