  2. Yeah... I wasn't in a good mood when I wrote that. Even though we have different opinions on this subject, I took it a bit too far.. for that I'm sorry. I also believe or hope for an overall open modding community, but if people explicitly says they won't have their mods reviewed I would respect their wishes. Fair Use, Legality or whatever else has no meaning for me in this question. It's just a matter of adhering to the wishes of a small subset of modders.

A thing that might need to be looked at is the unlucky mix of mods that result in well.. not expected output :) I'm doing the Helgen Reborn questlines atm and I'm at the Changing of the Guard (w. Kendrick) and I'm meeting lvl 50 bandits (I am level 28 myself). According to Helgen Reborns website they recommend doing it at 20 :P
  6. Not sure if this is a pack problem or a Lost Grimoire of Skyrim problem, but the spell "Manifest Fear" results in a CTD.
  7. If I remember correctly I read something about wildlife fleeing from you if they were not in their natural (ie. real life) pack sizes. Not sure which mod page I read it on, but it was in regards to this install. It's also something that I have encountered plenty of times in game and is quite a hazzle as you are kept in combat and your companions are running after them. The "problem" is getting less on my nerves now that my spells do a bit more damage as I can use a "Light the tallow" (Lost Grimoire I think) spell to kill wolf so I make sure I light every wolf up when I see one.

  9. they look much like the trees I have in my install (with the VRAM overflow). Don't know if it's 2 meshes but they look life-like to me. Most trees have dead leaves/branches.

  11. lovely.. I was told that I would have no problems running the SRLE Ext LotD with Win 10.. and now it turns out I can't :S Back to the drawing board it seems. Is it possible to just disable the DynDOLOD Texgen output and DynDOLOD Worlds Output? Or do I need to redo my install order etc?
  12. Thanks Dark. Seems I went about it the wrong way.. I used SPM to start MO and MO to start Skyrim.. seems the correct way was MO => SPM > Skyrim. So.. I've gamed an hour or two when I got my first CTD. During my gaming I was keeping a tight eye on the VRAM. Here are the stats: VRAM: Max 4490, Average 3440, crashed 4253 RAM: Max 5565, average 3901, crashed 3828 CPU%: Max 92%, average 43%, crashed 1% GPU%: Max 99%, average 61%, crashed 1% GPU Heat: Max 87, average 76, crashed 79 FPS: max 60, average 53, crashed 58 Any other infor I can help with?

  16. Hey guys n' gals, I'm having some irritating issues that I hope you can help me troubleshoot and hopefully fix. I've never really tried to troubleshoot these issues before as I just got frustrated and undeleted Skyrim and hoped the next guide was going to be flawless (and installed flawlessly as well). Due to this there might be some (mis)conceptions that you take for granted so please ELI5. I'm using the SRLE Extended LotD install + Arissa + mfg + grimy utils + unread books glow + SkyComplete. I don't know if string count has anything to say as I have Crash Fixes installed, but my current string count is hovering around 64.000. In game I'm level 17. Have around 20ish quests uncompleted, Explored most of the Falkreath hold and have otherwise only been to Whiterun and Solitude (for the museum and initial dragon quest only). I started getting quicksave CTDs after I reached lvl 12ish and have since disabled my quicksave key and only hard save now. I still get CTDs quite often. Around every 1-2 hours.. sometimes more often, and it's usually when entering a new area (loading screen) or hard saving. I don't (usually) get any crash reports from Crash Fixes (I'm told it's supposed to do that). So what can I do?   17. Just a word of advice - my install (SRLE Ext LOTD + Arissa, Unread Books Glow, Mfg, Grimy Utils and SkyComplete) is at 63617 strings now and I'm CTD'ing when I quicksave. I'm only at lvl 17 and havn't really done anything yet. What can I do or should I just uninstall and wait for Mod Picker auto installer and SKSE64?
  18. Thanks for the steps Johan. Do you know if I need to install the ENB as a mod as well and do I also need to disable the Vividan ENB from MO? (this is why I've never tried any other ENBs as an ENB seems to be welded tight to your load order).

Can anyone tell me if that ENB is compatible with this guide? 2. Can anyone guide me through on how to change the ENB (with ENB manager)? Thanks in advance.
  20. I have MFG and Extended UI installed as well.. one thing to remember for both of them to run is to have MFG overwrite Extended UI or only one of them will work :)
  21. Ahh.. in that case.. yes :) It didn't fix it though. But for some reason the animation is correct - altered nothing from yesterday... so there's that :P Only small issues I still have is not being able to loot/talk while riding.. but I can live with that.. Just think it's odd that it doesn't work when horse wait/follow works.. beats me.
  22. Reinstall? No. But i have gone through it again and compared it to my install to see if anything was different. I already spent three weeks installing this and if the only advice is to reinstall, then its either gonna be years from now or when Mod Picker and/or StepperUpper has completed their automated installation apps.
  23. Not entirely right.. Icecreamassassin says only to use "Save game script cleaner" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/) if you edit/clean anything to do with his scripts.
