  1. This pack is up and available on the wiki (though not officially). I don't consider it to be in a perfect state as yet as editing things like the modlist are very problematic at best at present. I would love it if anyone could give me some feedback on it's structure and wording etc.. Â LINK Cheers :)
  2. USKP is recommended by Requiem, though there are some conflicts I don't think any of them are problematic. Requiem changes things from the vanilla game and so those changes must override USKP's changes. I wouldn't worry about it. :)
  3. Not going to do a full review at this point but I have used it alot. I like it but I can't decide on complimentary mods. It is extremely compatible even with mods that alter parts of the perk tree such as Stealth Skills Rebalanced as you can switch off SPERG trees in the MCM. It wont allow you to gain a perk point in any skill until you reach 20 in that skill, and a fair number of perks are automatic. It is not compatible with YASH, Requiem or SkyRe for obvious reasons or any mods that affect all of the perk trees but will work with those that affect some of them as I've already said. It seems to have no problems with combat mods or content mods and has patches for most popular. Duel is probably the most compatible combat mod possibly deadly fightling as well. It works with Revenge of the Enemies and so would be a good addition to any mod pack that does not go for the big overhaul 1. It;s pretty good / no. 2. Reliable no problems noted in a variety of gameplay sitiuations and levels. 3. Already answered. :)
  4. I figured as much but it is tricky to know what to do when the AS equivalent isn't there for those 3 nodes. It's why I used the word 'seems' I am a mere padawan when it comes to this stuff but am slowly learning. But I still wouldn't know how to resolve those issues from the instructions on the page as they stand, for those 3 faction issues. I really like what you are doing with this latest approach. As it stands it is very useful as a base for different pack builds without dealing with umpteen million mods. I have just installed STEP CORE and Extended as separate profiles - for testing purposes -(a lot of work and tons of DDSOpting) only to find that I can't get DSR to work. This is either a fault in MO or Windows that is interfering, I keep getting messages about unable to parse and not recognised file form or some such. This probably means that I have to role back windows a couple of days or re-install MO. All fabulous fun - anyway I don't mean to give out erroneous info, so will ask first before making assumptions. :)
  5. Initially the guide stopped being updated when Iroha (and everyone else) could no longer edit posts after a certain small time limit. This is no longer the case and is currently in a relatively updated state). I would suggest that a smaller pack based around SkyRe as a whole would definitely have a place. A Magic pack has already been suggested and so compatibility between those might need to be addressed. The main difficulty with SkyRe is the reproccer (a great idea and tool) as you need a variety of patches to get it to properly assimilate any added armors and weapons. If you don't add any extra content then it is all straightforward. A SkyRe pack could then be some suggested added content - with patch and reproccer instructions to get it into the game and compatible with STEP CORE and or Extended. As STEP does not add any weapon or armor content (I think) then it should be compatible from the get go. Adding Dragon mods would perhaps be needed to balance the added damage from weapons and keep difficulty consistent. The less added content the better I would say because people have different views on what they like and so should make their own decisions about what they would like to add. Sufficient instruction on the use of the reproccer and adding content / patches should enable users to add what they choose to their build. As a guide this one would need to be converted to the wiki and then maintained to be effective and perhaps someone will take that on but I think a smaller pack version is definitely feasible in the short term. :)
  6. Yes - to answer your question simply. Well the older version of SR:LE was not completed so patches were not added but the ones from the original SR work fine where needed and should not be a problem. Both of those guides are no longer being updated. Any large modlist will need some patching here and there - more mods = more conflicts. Most of these are not game breaking though. The new one is taking the approach of building a single patch for the whole install, not much needs to done as yet. You may notice that the mods that were patched in the original are not yet in the latest version so it does not need much patching. That said the patches for OBIS are available from that mod's site and make the same corrections that are suggested here. The purpose of doing this manually though is to a) reduce the total number of plugins and b) help explain how to resolve conflicts and build patches. This is very much a WIP and some of the fixes seem in error in that those nodes do not occur in AS (factions) and so cannot easily be resolved or do not need to be. This is as good a reason as any for the DO NOT USE notice. I like OBIS but if it is removed then the current SR:LE had no conflicts or issues at this time. :)
  7. That is the old version of SR:LE it was never completed and any compatibility issues had not been addressed. Many of them are addressed in the original SR - LINK. This version is stable though out-dated. The new version is up to date LINK Â but has much fewer mods and deals with compatibility issues (minor) but has far fewer mods so you could use the original SR LINK to add those sections that you need. That said you really don't need much else - it looks great as is. Depends on what is important and if it is gameplay then just add SkyRe etc and you should be good to go. As for CCO it may clash with SkyRe in places I don't use it though I'm sure it is a good mod considering the Author but you may need to make enquiries about that part. :)
  8. Yes it is a good mod, this is only a suspicion as yet due to the fact the only CTD I have had with this set up was riding a horse - and there has always been a tendency to CTD when riding a horse on other set ups. I don't think it has anything to do with CH per se but perhaps another script issue where the game engine has to load more than it can handle. So not saying no to CH just curious about speed related crashes. :)
  9. This is almost properly up on the wiki now as a pack just waiting for the lighting table to save properly. Still needs to be finished as yet but it is tricky. I will link to it properly once I have tested it - the page that is not the pack itself - that works great. :)
  10. Table has saved now so it does seem do-able but not completely workable. Lighting part of this is currently saving yawn very slow but this thread is now technically SOLVED. :)
  11. Depends which LE you are talking about, the new one wont have any real compatibility issues, OBIS might cause problems. The older one should mostly be fine but you have to use compatibility patches from SR to make it work - then there are some choices to make as to how you want to install SkyRe. :)
  12. That is pretty much the reason. CoT on it's own I can take or leave it's good but not unsurpassed, but the additions especially the weather Patch really bring it out. I guess RLO can work with Real Rain, Supreme Storms, Expanded Snow Systems, Morning Fogs and Supreme and Volumetric fog, Lightning Mod, quality snow flakes etc.. but it is prod80's work that sells it for me. I would say that if someone would prefer RLO weathers then use the non CoT versions of the above mods. Not sure there is as much compatibility for DLCs Falskaar etc though. I am definitely keeping my eye on it though. :)
  13. No worries sport, easily done. :)
  14. Hi, to what extent are the instructions for "Book of Silence" out of date? The recent update changed and added a lot of stuff some of which I can't imagine not being included. :)
  15. I do believe that SRO does not overwrite all of the files supplied by Skyrim HD and Serious HD. Each contributes to the whole. Overwriting is much simpler though than going through and removing individual texture files. :)
  16. Fires Hurt is another little one that doesn't get much of a mention - makes sense that if you stand in a fire you will start to burn - works of a single script and plugin. LINK :)
  17. Ok I filled in the table but am unable to save it for some reason - the preview looked great though. All new mods added to wiki mainly under 2.G. :)
  18. Check out the Weather Pack in Packs and you will find this gem and more being suggested. :)
  19. Not talking about BOSS and or load order buddy - but setting up a pack on the wiki - which can then be accessed and used like the main guide. :)
  20. Terrain Bump is in STEP Core along with this already. :)
  21. I am using this at the mo. Recommend it myself. I have done no real compares it just seems really good in the game. :)
  22. Do We? It doesn't come up under any searches in any logical place - I've only just now added it to the wiki. If it is already here somewhere then I wonder what it was named? :)
  23. I didn't see it there, in fact that page still needs some development and this patch has it's own mod page. I am also having a hell of a time trying to add it into the modlist for the weather pack. :)
  24. Would this stay as a guide or a Pack? :)
