  1. I am looking forward to seeing this but I am having a weird glitch in that I can't get skyrim to load, Loads completely in TES5Edit, probably something simple I just can't remember when I have last had the problem. Otherwise this pack is loaded and all ready to go. Will fix when I am less tired. :)
  2. Kk. If i drag a file to match up with the last mod loaded, that just alters that .esp, right? Does it create a new patch file? You have to right click the file that you want and select copy as override then select new file, give it a super snazzy name, then click OK and it will appear on the far right. You can then add things that you want to keep from other files by dragging them to the new patch file. Once again though I really dont think it is necessary. :) P.S I have had a look at this snow, will need to see if the game can handle 4K textures or weather the 2K is as good. Certainly looks good.
  3. I don't know, it is possible but as I am not using CoT sounds I will have to install the mod then open it up with all relevant esp files - I do not think it is important because it just alters the chance of a weather type happening in one area, which would be utterly negligible in game. I will get around to it and have a look for you but can't give you an ETA. You could always have a look your self. Open up the ESS file in TES5Edit and see where it clashes, make sure you have all AOS and CoT - sounds files selected when you run TES5Edit. You should then be able to see where there are clashes by expanding regions and then each file until you find conflicting files (in red) then decide if that is something you want to patch i.e. bringing a file or change from the left into a new patch file which would appear on the far right. :)
  4. Yes it is AFAIK, but it is also still a work in progress as there are more mods being tested and added all the time. But it works as is, though combat will be vanilla, there is plenty of challenge. :)
  5. Clipping with cloaks is annoying if you are looking for it, but otherwise it is a minor issue considering how much Frostfall adds to the game and how much greater your survival odds are when wearing a decent cloak. Work has been done to try to give cloaks their own physics and some success has been made but it is not yet something that is applicable to all cloaks only the one included in that mod - so still a work in progress. :)
  6. You can make that change in the MCM in Requiem which allows Faedal and Sven to work as normal, so no problem. :)
  7. It is not always as simple as that, the file on the far right is the one that gets loaded so it is a case that should something conflict, which version do want to load, if it is the mod on the right then you are golden. There are not many mods that cause any kind of problem with Requiem in Extended but a few will need to be removed these are listed on the Requiem Extended thread I believe, oh and at the top of this page. There is patch for Requiem and Extended knocking about, it is still being tested. I will test it this week and check with the author about linking to it. We are considering a more indepth pack dealing with all the various addons and a patch for those things that need it. Will let you know more when I do. Anyway hope this helps. :)
  8. It all looks great, I'm going to install it ontop of STEP core with the wether and lighting pack, survival pack and base requiem pack. To see how that goes. :)
  9. I've got those, I really want to have a look at this, are you saying that the whole thing will be 3 or 4 esps? In the instructions you do not say to remove very many from their mods so this will still be a huge plugin fest - anyway keen to give this a look. :)
  10. According to the guide it is option 1. :) Waiting for those patches to come on line.Â
  11. I'm about to give this a whirl with my Weather & Lighting pack, if I like (which I very much expect that I will), I will add it in as an option. :)
  12. Probably to do with Wet and Cold, it distributes the extra cloaks, are you using the craft only plugin (and no other ones) from WiC? :)
  13. It's a case of making your own choices. SR:LE is perfectly good to follow or the STEP version. As far as Frostfall goes it is not a patch for Frostfall but just a choice of where on the body you want your weapons to hang - not a compatibility problem. :)
  14. I was wondering because as far as I know there are no mods in STEP that cause any problems with those mods, but yes best to install any relevant patches which is just the one for disease descriptions AFAIK. I was suggesting the other smaller Survival pack, rather than Immersive Survival which has a great deal more mods. I have not seen the pack author around for a while but I did test it and it works well. The cloaks issue is simple, you install the main Cloaks.esp from CoS and the CRAFT only plugin from WiC as Wet & Cold distributes the cloaks around the world and on NPCs. I have not tried IS with Extended to be honest but I doubt that there are too many clashes. Try the smaller survival pack install it exactly as instructed and you will have all the mods you need to make survival in skyrim more challenging and immersive. :)
  15. Yes you can. The Survival pack is fully compatible with STEP Extended. Frostfall is fully compatible as is RND, You can add them into the sections as outlined or add them as a pack at the end of your install (if you are not using MO then that would be the best option). :)
  16. This mod was removed for that reason and is not in the guide presently. :)
  17. Nope you need both files though it does work as a standalone file. :)
  18. I use them both AoS and ESS I have not had a noticable problem with them, but there is a small clash in one file one region to be exact to do with chance, so easily patched just use the file from ESS then copy over the mismatches from AoS. (not sure if that is necessary though. :)
  19. It works fine with Extended just remove these mods as they are already covered by Requiem: Lockpicking Interface, Altar Descriptions, Diseases Descriptions, Clams drop pearls, When Vampires Attack, Non Essential Children, Ars Metallica, Main Font Replacement, Convenient Horses, No NPC greetings, Run for your Lives, Skyrim Coin Replacement, Soul Gems Differ and Lock Overhaul. Note: Convenient Horses does work but Requiem includes some of that mods functionality. No NPC Greetings is removed if you use the STEP Patch anyway. For When Vampires Attack and Run for your lives can be made compatible if you prefer them, you just need to turn off Dragon Fear and turn on Random Vampire attacks in the Requiem MCM. Some mods in CORE and Extended have compatibility patches made for them including Weapon and Armor Fixes and Trade and Barter just add 'Requiem' as a search on the nexus and all the available patches will come up. Hope this helps, :)
  20. I have not noticed anything untoward with respect to Coin replacer I have found both septims (requiem already does this) and Haralds in the crypts. It is not working perfectly without a patch but it is mostly ok. :)
  21. Not as such, you can add the Requiem pack onto the end of SR:LE and it works a treat, you would also need patches from Azirok for all the extra mods in SR:LE such as SIC, CCO, IA, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth etc. Just add a separate section called Requiem (why not?) on the end and install all the mods in the pack and then all of the patches and your done. All pathches should load after the others detailed in the pack. :)
  22. I have it just after the two main CoT plugins so yes it should be before prod80's files. :)
  23. Probably worth looking at in TES5Edit and seeing what records are affected, I am not so familiar with ELE and it's affect on sound. I would be inclined not to go with SoS at all as it is not being maintained AFAIK. :)
  24. It is, you only need patches if you use the enhancer. :)
  25. Why? Requiem does a very similar thing, I agree it isn't exactly the same but it would be a nightmare to patch as Requiem also is unlevelled and many items are hand placed throughout the world. :)
