pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Allsunday replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I like this idea. Expanded Towns and Cities: it isn't good in my opinion. It adds just TOO MUCH. Performance drop is noticeable and it's really big in places like Dawnstar. Immersive Settlements: Orc Strongholds and Stonehills are a must. I personally use all modules this mod has to offer after I compared every single one with ETaC. Still in development tho. The Whiterun module could be added to your Whiterun as it's compatible with any Whiterun modification inside walls. Thirteenoranges: why did you only mention his quests? His entire An Elder Scrolls Collections seems like a good fit here (all but the faction maybe, if you don't want that). Just my two cents. -
Without lighting/enb 10 fps too. It's really weird. The only place where my performance drops so much. Sent from my XT890 using Tapatalk

That's weird. I have a "good" rig but Whiterun hits me hard for some reason "10" fps. Sent from my XT890 using Tapatalk

Indeed, if you really want realism lighting wise inside caves, passages between chambers without torches or holes for the moonlight to enter are going to be pitch dark, which is just annoying if we consider this is a game.I think it all comes down to what Faylon said: "I think it's actually just the atmosphere that we're really after". Little question and sorry if this is off topic is way out of line, but how are you reducing moon sizes? 26 Moon Size Tweeks by akindain?
-
Yep, only exteriors. So I can give Whiterun "something" at least before entering the city. I loved the change Piano made to Whiterun inside walls but the performance impact was noticeable. The word "exchange" was not a good choice :P
-
This one I exchanged for the Whiterun version of Immersive Settlements because the fps drop was more than I can tolerate for a city enhancer. Still loving Riften and Windhelm tho.
-
That's a good point, of course it is. It sounded like I was completely disagreeing but I was not. I still think most of the time (with most ENBs presets) I can see more than I should tho. Now, if we're talking about dungeon... yeah, that should be pitch dark if you want to be completely realist. I don't want to play like that so all I aim for is REALLY dark dungeons.
-
That is with a FULL moon and no clouds, perfect weather. Add some clouds (not big ones, just enough to mist up the moon a little bit) and you can't see **** if you don't have a light source (aka torch, lamps, etc). This is in real life, of course. I live in Argentina (south) and when I'm out in the country and there're no big cities nearby this is what happens. We don't have street electricity and street lamps in Skyrim afaik.
-
RealVision option B is my second choice. Nights might need some tweaking tho. If Neovalen wants torches/lanterns to be really useful, those nights need to be darker. I tweaked it to my taste but I'm sure you can make a better job, z (I suck).
-
Is CoT compatibility 100% necessary? Because Unbleak (Bleak is not for everyone) has everything you want. One of my priorities when modding lighting in Skyrim is realistic dark nights/dungeons that make me depend on my torch/lantern (like it should be) and Bleak is the first one that really satisfied me. EDIT: you can always use it with EDWS + more rain + more snow, or make your own combination.

My last MO profile was morrowloot, sperg, ultimate combat, revenge of the enemies and high level enemies. You die, A LOT, but it's fun, it really is. Two friends modded the game following my modlist and are having tons of fun and 0 problems. Too bad I lack the knowledge to make a pack. Sent from my XT890 using Tapatalk

I never thought of this mod as a possible addition to STEP. I post some mods that I think deserve attention and I take the liberty to show game changing mods like Morrowloot because there is even a Requiem pack on this forum :P. But maybe you're right and this is not the correct section. If that's the case, I'm sorry.
-
Fuma just updated Morrowloot and added Dawnguard and Dragonborn support. He posted a spoil too, so you can have an idea how well hidden items are: Yeah, I know, nobody cares about this here :(
-
So Paartunax is not compatible unless a patch is released (I really have no idea how to fix this).
-
Great work, I just finished installing stuff. Now I have to open TES5Edit and check for conflicts. This is my load order: I have two simple questions tho: 1) What about The Paartunax Dilemma? I read if you spare Paartunax you will not get Talos blessing but I don't see anything in TES5Edit. 2) ASIS spells/perks features: do they work with Requiem? EDIT: I just deleted CCO_SIC_Patch.esp (redundant with Requiem - SIC CCOR Patch.esp if I'm not mistaken).
-
I don't understand. Is that patch available for download? EDIT: Nvm, just found it. I wonder why is hidden in CCO patches tho. I don't use CCO and I just want the WAF one :( EDIT2: Oh boy, this is the remade version by kryptopyr! Didn't even know existed, gonna give it a try :D
-
I'm installing Requiem for the first time and I read the load order one by one :P So, WAF isn't compatible unless you personally make a compatibility patch, right?

SKYRIMLE EZ2C Dialogue Menu - configurable - better navigation and control
Allsunday replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Basically, yes, but you can see it like a font replacement and better dialogue merge too. For example, I'm using the text option (no menu) in EFF and the possibility to customize fonts and text placement is really useful for me (less intrusive hud 2 doesn't let you move the dialogue window). -

Well, menu is now disabled and that noise gone. And this is how you say "meh" and keep playing. -

Nope, I don't use it. AoS Immersive Sounds - Aural Assortment Guard Dialogue Overhaul No Sneak Attack Sound No npc greetings TESMUSIC Thundering Shouts Those are the only audio mods I have on this profile. -

So when you talk to your follower no background noise is played? It's really weird, can't think of a mod that's causing this. -

Am I the only one who can't stand the sound the menu does when you talk to your follower? I googled but couldn't find anything. I'm starting to think I may have a problem because the sound is reeeeally annoying (doesn't stops until you choose an option).
