ACCEPTED Rustic Clothing (by Gamwich)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to sheershaw's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Rustic Underwear now available under "Optional files". Yes one more. Gamwich -
Great explanation, thanks!

Ok, thank you, I was worried even if I was thinking that the bashed patch shouldn't be necessary for an ENB to work properly.
-
(Page with the details showed up next time I made a bashed patch.) Should I do it again after I add Vividian ENB since it adds plugins or is it ok if I install Vividian ENB at the end and just laucnh the game like this?
-
After looking more at them before I can say that my current build is done I can say that I still prefer the STEP version (idk who did them?) even if Gamwich textures are high quality. In actual STEP, the middle part looks better and you can see that some stuff from vanilla is still there under the words, wich look bad imo, STEP may be less realistic but is more "clean" and I prefer that here). Only Gamwich textures that are marked as being tested here I don't use are the Standing Stones ones and these ones.
-
Looking at the compares I also prefer when the normal maps are hidden, I'll install them this way. There is a little too much relief but the textures are nice. Did you look at them with the normal maps from the STEP Compilation Tech?

DROPPED RUSTIC NORDIC MURALS (by Gamwich)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to darkside's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This should be moved in the "2.G. Landscape & Environment" section imo, following "RUSTIC MONUMENTS and TOMBSTONES" if it gets accepted for STEP. It still puts it after "Re-Defined Dungeons". EDIT: well it's not as big of a mod as some other in that section but then you have "HD Dark Brotherhood Door" so idk... That was my useless comment of the day. -
The page did not show up so I was clueless for a sec then I kept going.
-
I did the bashed patch corectly but when it was done I got an html (I believe?) file opened in a browser type window (built IN Wrye Bash) right before the window asking if I want to activate it. Is this something important the Wrye Bash Team linked us to or just something like "well done, your bashed patch is ready!"?

DROPPED No Stretching (by Langley)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I noticed this on the mod page: "UPDATE 14.05.15 Add-on for Markarth. Minor changes and fixes to UV rocks, mountains and stones. Unlike the main mod is not just a change of scale. I tried to manually fix and change some places and objects to make UV more accurate" That was after you dropped the mod because of the mountains problem. EDIT: Also Neovalen is using this. I placed it before SMIM like he did, I will report any problem with the meshes. -
Why do NPCs not give a sh*t that I'm stealing everything?

DROPPED No Stretching (by Langley)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If One Mauntain puts the same texture everywhere, I am not sure if I would like that! ^^ Already two of the 6 or 8 mountain textures in No Stretching are covered by SMIM by the way. I was talking about a comeback because this mod fixes (?) almost a THOUSAND meshes (!) but only the master modders here know if it is really useful or not... EDIT: I will look at some places that are in the screenshots on the mod page with and without it and will see for myself (that was so hard to think about that, I jsut want to play, but why not do a little bit of work after all was done for the noobs like me?) -

Maybe this one could make a comeback for 2.10 with some instructions regarding the mountain meshes? -
Bethesda Mountains Are S**t
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to a topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I remember I used to do this a lot the first time I played Skyrim (on the Xbox 360, shhhh you never heard that). I laughed a lot listening to this guy too, and I'm french (wich doesn't mean anything...). -
Mmmh, I looked a bit more at the mod and it could be against the STEP mandate afterall...
-
I looked at this mod after seeing it in the SR:LE guide. I will install it, if there is no issue I think it should be added in STEP too.

STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
Yes, you just do the install multiple times choosing the options you want and merging. EDIT: If that makes sense. -
ACCEPTED The Ruffled Feather (By SparrowPrince)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to Xaviien's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thank you, yes I have read somewhere here that it was looking "odd" (after you choosed HQ Snow like you said then.). I will try it but if it's too obvious that the snow on the ground and the snow on stairs for example is different then I wont use it (wich is certainly why you dropped it ^^).- 307 replies

STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
You take the last version if not specified, BSA or loose files will do the same, but I prefer loose files when it's there (because then in the Data tab in MO you can see the files, and what they do...). Also you can rename the mods in MO (by clicking on the name in the left pane), I do it too because I want clean mod names. And you should only to a manual install when the guide says so. EDIT: I figured you were talking about the "wrong DATA directory" message in red. The guide will tell you when a mod is not packaged very well, and if not then you do it it yourself after learing the first time like me. :) -
ACCEPTED The Ruffled Feather (By SparrowPrince)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to Xaviien's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Why is Better Dynamic Snow not used in STEP? Is it because of HQ Snow Texture? I am asking because I woudl like to try it but I am not sure where to place it since SMIM makes use of it I believe. Also I know there is a No Snow Under the Roof patch for it, but that I would know what to do.- 307 replies

SKYRIMLE No Snow Under the Roof (by Prometheus)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to Allsunday's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I figured it out alone again... BDS isn't being in STEP:Extended, meshes with the same names as some of the ones in BDS (The Ruffled Feather) are provided by SMIM excepted shrinebase.nif. I guess I can remove the BDP patch then. ;) -
SKYRIMLE No Snow Under the Roof (by Prometheus)
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to Allsunday's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I installed this mod to use with STEP:Extended, do I need the Better Dynamic Snow Patch since there is BDS meshes in the Step Compilation I believe? And if I do, when I activate the Prometheus_NSUTR BDS Patch.esp, it needs the Better Dynamic Snow.esp as a master. Should I merge it with the Step Extended Patch.esp for it to work or just install The Ruffled Feather choosing only Better Dynamic Snow? -
STEP v2.2.9.2 Official Bug Reports
DepartedCitizen-00002 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
Hello and welcome Bazbaoy! I already posted about that update in the SMIM topic, I think one of the staff members will update the instructions when they have some time to check the mod and make the appropriate changes. I guess you figured that you can install that last version without any problem. ;) Thank you, have fun and a nice day! -
Yeah I've read again, missed this I think : "I made it with STEP in mind because STEP doesn't have any weather alteration mod, weather effect additions yes, original weather alteration no."
-
Ok, thanks a lot, I could have messed up here because of the post before mine (I'm too curious ^^).
