SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions

Another important part of skyrim that SRLE or extended have not touched is the broken loot, gold and enemy scaling system. In skyrim the player gets showered in gold from day one and the best armor and weapons drops from random bandits at level 20, and enemies level is the same as player. I prefer a more dangerous world where there actually is deadly enemies, and a system where rare loot is rare and where gold is more limited, making finding rare items so much more fun and rewarding. There is many mods out there that touch this subject and here is some of the best, I would love to see them included in extended. All mods is taken from dreadflopp's Deleveled Lootpack.

 

MorrowLoot Ultimate by ChocolateNoodle (Core: remove high level/rare loot from loot lists and hand-place the best items around skyrim. Extra: Higher level enemies from start. ++more MCM options)

Scarcity - Less Loot Mod by Syclonix (reduces ALL types of loot, even mod-added loot, so that there are less weapons and armor lying around, potions and gems are scarcer, and finding enchanted items is a genuine treasure. Merchants have less rare loot. Configurable)

Gold adjustment by kuertee (Gold adjustment limits your income by adjusting gold, gems, lockpicks and soul gems acquired from chests and gold from coin purses and quest rewards. MCM configurable)

Sold out - Merchants do not sell Rare Ingots by Etibe (This mod removes rare ingots and their corresponding ores from vendors throughout Skyrim restoring rarity.)

ok now i am confused 2 versions of Enhanced Mighty Dragons by 2 different authors on the nexus

That's just... weird. Two modders grab the original, now free-to-use version and release them on Nexus and that's ok! Even the descriptions are just copy/paste from the original.

Anyway based on the limited descriptions, the Enhanced Mighty Dragons Reborn has been updated to use USLEEP as a master so immediately that's a plus for that one.

yep that  i like the one i will use. I do have the orginal and have made USLEEP compataible myslef but if it is beeing improved it i sworth to keep an eye one.

I tested out Unique Border Gates very early on in my build but the fps was very low so i decided aganist it. there others i hace tried yet but i have been thinking out the

You seem to have a lot things that reduce your fps? For me, the only thing that ever bogs me down is when I'm running 4k textures and meshes in an extremely wooded/grassy area. Things like ETaC and such never touch my framerate (stays flexibly at 60 fps). I run GTX 670 4gb x2.

 

The only thing that really affects my experience is stuttering. It's not overly prevalent, but noticeable. I suspect that if I tweaked distance settings, I could give the engine more time to pre-read textures to reduce this.

yeah think i need to tweak my ini setting a bit more the issue is i don't knew what settings to tweak to make it running faster.

 

plus i suspect my CPU might be slowing me down.

 

also since i have a GTX970 and i am over 3.5gb of VRam that is slowing me down too I need to pursude Lexy to let me sell this off and get a GTX 980ti

The GTX 970 ram issue was corrected in a driver update long ago. Just wait for Pascal before upgrading.

 

I just followed the SRLE guide then STEP recommended settings for the rest. At the very least, try setting your numthreads to the number of logical cores on your CPU. Skyrim defaults to 4 threads, but most people have 8.

 

The only other difference I can think is that I am NOT using the ENB SMAA proxy plugin that you use in SRLE Ext, and instead am using 1.2x DSR and running Skyrim at 2103x1183, which then auto downsamples into 1080p for my monitor. a.k.a driver-based super-sampling.

Starting a new setup and tinkering around with various options for full coverage HD textures/meshes for use as a new base, I find that I much prefer the look of the Skyrim Realistic Overhaul textures, but the normals and parallax maps provided by Hein84 for SkyrimHD are far, far superior to what Project Parallax made for Vanilla and SRO.
