Installing All Natural + Immersive Interiors through MO

Question

Hello,

 

Comparatively new MO user, and recently tried to install Immersive Interiors, which requires All Natural; now, in the All Natural installation instructions, it says to isntall using Wrye Bash and "import cells" at the end; since MO is said to have BAIN support, I installed the mod through it, but the weather looks quite dark and unnatural, and at the mod's Nexus page a user has recently posted with similar issues and is told that "seems it wasn't installed correctly". Any advice on how to go about installing these two mods, using Mod Organizer?

Apologies, your posts seem to have slipped through the net.

There isn't really too much difficulty in installing these mods. Immersive Interiors will install as per normal and All Natural can likewise be installed with MO, so long as you know which files/folders to move around in the "manual install" dialogue. It's readme has a section on manual installation that you can read to figure that out.

 

As to the "import cells" function from Wrye Bash, that too should be handled in exactly the same way as any other time you create a 'bashed patch' with WB from within MO.

The guide has a section on WB and there are plenty of threads explaining what you need to do with regard to creating/updating those.

Indeed, the complication mostly seems to arise with All Natural. I generally only seem to need the 'core' component - I don't have mods installed that would require any of the additional plugins - so manual installation should be fairly straightforward. The problem is, I have never needed to use Wrye Bash before, either with, or without MO; essentially, the question seems to be

 

1. Do I need Wrye Bash to install the mod properly, if I use MO, and it is said to have BAIN support (if so, I suppose it would have to be because of 'importing cells', as I don't seem to see anything else in the installaton instructions that should make a difference), and

 

2. In case I do, how to go about it -using MO- , since I manage all other mods through it and would like to have everything "under one roof".

 

I hope I wrote this clearly.

In general, so would I.

 

However, in this case, it is just one single mod I am trying to get to work - the rest seem to be ok, and the main problem seems to be to what extent Wrye Bash should be crucial, and why - as per my previous post.

I gave up trying to get MO to work correctly with Oblivion.  I think Bash works better and is better supported, at least for Oblivion.

 

I'd kill for proper MO support for Oblivion and Morrowind, though.

Non-steam version of Oblivion works great with MO. MO for Oblivion Steam is a pain in the ass, true that.
