SRLE Extended

Recommended Posts

Merging order kind of doesnt matter unless you are trying to do something janky but keep in mind the "rule of one" applies.

As for LOOT sorting I dont know if you are talking about mods pre-merge or mod post merge.

LOOT doesnt read contents so its pretty random with merged mods, if you need to find a spot for it, you'll know by the record conflicts

i meant I use loot pre-merge to sort them iin order.

So my wife had another one of her ingenious ideas that I start another Wiki page showing how I intergrated SRLE Extended with SRLE Instead of just using my first on the first page this will contain my current install order but i can put up more infomation on what i did and mayube reason behind it. Personally I think all you guys using this guide would find that very useful.

Why is it her ingenious ideas always end up with me doing a ton of work.

I think that's a great ideia.

It will give you more work but you will have a better final product to be proud of.

After all is done it will be easier to maintain your Wiki and actually enjoy playing the game.

Just wanna tell you again that we really appreciate all the work you've been having for the past couple of week. :)

well I can say SkyTest is likely to be taken out and switched to animal tweaks as this seems to do the same thing (and same people don't like SkyTest). It is also combatible combat evolved and can be merged.

I just want to say that the author of SkyTEST is working on betatesting next version right now, and I still think he is looking for beta testers. The new version will most likely deal with the issues the mod have atm.

I know that Nazenn recommended Animal Tweaks as a replacement for SkyTEST, but animal tweaks lack many features that skytest have.

In my opinion Animal tweaks focus mostly on combat related tweaks, but skytest also add routines and behavior outside combat similar to what npc's have. This feature is essential since it create life to skyrim similar to what Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul do for npc's. This makes the world feel like it is not rotating around the player but actually exist independently of the player, and it make wildlife so more interesting.

Also animal tweaks make some animals unreasonable hard to kill, even mudcrabs is hard, and it seem they are harder mostly due to larger health pool. There is an optional file but I guess you will need some patches and that mean the optional file will not work. Anyway, I have not tested it extensively but in my opinion this two mods dont seem that similar and do things differently.

Im not sure how long time until next skytest version but I stick with skytest for now.

that is interesting but for now I have decided to make the switch (as a lot of peoople have actually been asking me to) to animal tweaks if the new version does indeed fix the issues then i will consider changing back.

Personally i am wait for the ICAIO Animals addon that is being worked on.

Any idea when ICAIO Animals addon will be out, anytime soon?

No idea all I know Shurah is working on one. I would bet Skytest 1.40 will be out first I am very interested in that now. I personally think the main issue people had with it was the mod was never orginally cleaned with TES5Edit.

I have personally never had any major issues with SkyTest.

Right was doing some testing with interesting NPC's, I noted some instability with the current guide and major stutters. I also noted when using memory block logs the 2nd block fills up very very quickly, this might be normal I cant remember furthur investigation required. Also i noted that VRam was hitting 3.6GB (this is a little high for my liking so maybe some downsizing of textures should occur).

So if interesting NPC was to be include something has to give and I think immersive Wenches should be dropped. What do you guys think?

Interesting NPCs is too good to pass up.

yeah I agree I dont want to pass it up it has gotten majorly better since i last uswd it so some something else has to go.

the main issue I want to narrow down is the stutters and reducing VRam useage. so is there any mods current in the guide that you guys think can go or maybe texturea to reduce answers below.

I am going to try out the performance version of Noble Skyrim and see what a big difference that makes.
