Worlds dawn has already been discussed tested and rejected due to the clunky way that the mod implements creating enchantments on weapons and armors.

On another note, is there a particular reason why we're using ENB Manager & Changer, which hasn't been updated since 2012, over ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager which is current and still being maintained?

What mod does Faction Crossbows_lvl_list patch.esp com from?

It is a mod created by Dreadflopp for better compatabilty between Fraction crossbows and morrowloot.

I'm missing something, I can't find it in my load order to merge it. I will keep looking

just so you know it's a new mod that Darth uploaded yesterday.

 

Ahh ok. I have been doing this install for a couple weeks due to RL and OCD (if that is the correct word). It gets tough following the change logs sometimes when doing that. I have a few merges to do and than I will go back and try to double check everything. Thank you Darklady

I have another request. You might not agree with all but just trying to offer input

1- Change New Items Catagory to New Armors & Weapons or maybe New Armors Items & Weapons

2- Change the merge name of this category to the same name you rename the category

3- Drop Improved Weapons Impact from the merge because it is in a different category

4- relocate Dawnguard Arsenal, & lustmord vampire Armor to the top of the category since they are not in the merge, Then the Merged file for this category will follow all mods that are in the merge

5- Drop Nightingale arrows because its not in this category

6- Can I drop the Mods I  mentioned from the merge without screwing up the merge if you disagree with my suggestions

You can move the mods that are required to be merged in the same place since it doesn't matter in which category you place it since it will end up in a merge anyway.

 

what I do is I place all mods that require a merge in the same place one after another and in the same order that is requested by the merge. In this way when one updates and I require to merge again when I enable the mods the esps will activate in the merge order suggested by the guide.

 

BTW Weapons_Armors Merged.esp is in the CR. I am not sure if by not adding those to the merge changes something for this esp.

1. Lexy has already suggested we move all the new weapons and armors to a new caterory since it has massivly grown. so that will be happening.

3. I like that it may be in a different catagory but it is realated and it reduces overall esp count.

6. these 2 mods shouldn't be required by the CR.

So I have finally come to my senses and decided against both RND and PerMa :p  But I am going for SRLEX and REGS.  This means dropping most of the Arthmoor villages mods.  I'm also adding in Beyond Reach, Summerset Isle, AGO/N2T/ABT, Claralux and Sneak Tools (plus one or two others I might have forgotten).  This will obviously bring me perilously close to 255 so I was wondering - is there a tutorial anywhere for determining which esp's are safe to merge in case I need to further reduce the count?

 

Does anyone reading here already have SRLEX with REGS set up?  If so, any words of wisdom?

I used a build of REGS and SRLE for about six months. It was unsteady with frequent crashes so I spent a lot of time trying to make it steady. Many of the crashes were caused by worldspace conflicts introduced by the quest and city mods and needed conflict resolution. Unless you are prepared to spend a lot of time learning conflict resolution so you can do it yourself your likely to have happier times just staying with a build where someone like darth or neo are doing the CR for you. Also REGS has not been updated in over a year.
