ENBoost just works in Buildings

Sumiu

Question

I'm kinda new to the modding community, so sorry if i don't know the easiest things or so :x

I'm using the injector version of the newest enb version (v0.266) and trying to install ENBoost now.

My problem is, ENBoost just works in buildings like jorrvaskr, but when i go outside (for example Whiterun or any landscape) the game ctds immediately.

If i use the enblocal.ini from the injector version, i don't have any problems at all.

I kinda searched everywhere but couldn't find any answer to my problem, so i gonna ask here and hope for help because i don't want to play with a just low amount of mods thankfully to the 3.1gb ram max.

My Rig:

GPU: GeForce GTX 780M 4GB RAM

CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.40GHz

RAM: 16GB

I hope somebody could help me :(

You do not mention which ENB, that would help. Your wording suggests both that you just want ENBoost (no graphic modifications) and that you actually want the graphics modifications (your "it works on buildings" comment). It would help to know which. Finally posting your enblocal.ini would be of help.

Either ENBoost is on or it is not!

If you do get CTD´s still it is either not working, or you have input wrong parameters in your enblocal.ini, or you have too many texture mods installed at too high resolutions.

Please post your enblocal.ini inside spoiler tags as well for people to have a chance in helping you out.

any kind of enbs just work indoor with the enblocal.ini from the ENBoost, but not the outsides. The enblocal.ini which came with the injector version works without any problems.

i just used the dlc 1k hd textures, nothing for for the testing

enblocal.ini from the ENBoost (just work indoor; outdoor = CTD):

So you got one which works.. and one which does not ? Why not just use the one that works... how you got the file is irrelevant really. Unless you are asking out of curiosity.. not sure what there is to help with currently! :)

You just want one file.. and once it is setup, you do not overwrite it with any other ENB´s version of it. You might have to manually setup SweetFX in your own file for some presets, but that is about it. Everything else in there is system dependent really.

isn't there much difference?

i tho the ENBoost enblocal.ini is for using less RAM and the injector enblocal.ini is a "bad" version, what needs more RAM :o
