Dual Sheath Redux MO No ESP file in Overwrite mod after patch

Hello I recently watched a tutorial on how to install dual sheath redux for MO, it went smooth until I was supposed to patch it. When patching it gives me an error message;

And when I go back to MO and look in the Overwrite files where there should be an ESP and a folder, but there is only the folder so there's nothing to patch with.

 

The tutorial was quite popular so there shouldn't be anything wrong with the steps that he took in it.

Could you tell us which tutorial you followed and any steps you deviated from, if any?

That way we can eliminate the obvious errors.

 

I've seen this error message reported before, though not necessarily in this setting. The DSR page says to try the fixes listed here. Have you tried those steps?

This is just a guess, but I'm betting this error can happen if your using an old / outdated mod that has bad records in it (hence the record length step / null message).

This is just a guess, but I'm betting this error can happen if your using an old / outdated mod that has bad records in it (hence the record length step / null message).

I don't understand what you mean with bad records and what the problem is with an older mod, I think all my mods are newest version ;w;

Clearly there must be something different with either the steps you did/didn't take or the versions of software on your system or some other Windows control issue that is messing up the patcher. Software just doesn't refuse to work for someone whilst working for someone else.

 

So, what is different between GamerPoet's setup and yours?

Additionally, Neovalen probably knows more about the patcher than most, so perhaps a list of mods might be a good thing to provide.

Here is what I think you're asking for. I really followed every step through the tutorial, I talked to him and he said that I should make a thread and speak to Will I am. Unsure who this guy is yet.
