At which point it will be in SR:LE with no additions on my part lol. :) I did have a look briefly last night (10 minutes) and they looked really nice.

Yea. The mod author also told me in a message that he believes that this mod is better than his original. He said it's still a WIP and will probably be updating it. I'm using the 2k version. I'm afraid of what 4k will do to performance in heavy forest areas. 

I forgot to mention that the mod author also said that you can overwrite with the "classic grey" textures from the All-in-One file to change the color to grey. They are compatible.

I was curious about what the difference actually is between the original and this one so I took a few shots and well.. I'm a little puzzled tbh.. I don't really get why Hein thought it merited another release but what do I know.. Both look awesome, that much is clear.

It's usually to escape from your other mods for a while, it can get boring updating the same thing over and over. It's nice to get some new comments and people in to see what they think. Or it could be that you crave some attention and want to feel good about yourself. I will let you guys decide, but the latter gets a frown from me. If I think something is good enough to re-release I at least delete the old mod. It's just numbers to me and it is confusing to other people to leave it up. 

 

I liked the new mod, but now I see it is just darker? Looks like a new overlay. I never looked at the original though.

You can combine ot with the grey texture from tue original mod.

Only the grey is only 2k resolution, so you're basically downgrading the new mod back to the original.

I am still waiting for 4k grey alternative for Two... It got updated with better normal maps (and more grass) today, btw, so I guess it's a good time to check the differences.
