Acronyms: Wants & Issues

IP Boards has a nice ability to 'disambiguate' the plethora of acronyms that we use at STEP (simply place the cursor over an acronym to see what it translates to in real language). If you DO NOT see the translation on mouse hover, then the acronym is not yet defined.
 
While we have added many of the most common:
AFAIK
IIRC
SRO ...
 
Many are probably still needed, so please post here if there are any that you think should be added or post if there are issues with existing acronym conversions.

Well, only the one - the SMIM acronym currently reads "Skyrim Mesh Improvement Mod (mod)". Not only is the actual name of the mod "Static Mesh Improvement Mod", the (mod) tag is redundant because the acryonym expands to include "mod".

Also, EBQO (which I use frequently when referring to Even Better Quest Objectives) and REGS (Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim, also frequently used now) should be listed in the acronym lists.

Maybe, but you'll have to move up in the ranks. It's in the AdminCP and mods will never have access to that. The STEP Staff group and Admins are the only ones with access and the STEP Staff group is even limited in it's use. We only have access to certain things. The Admins run a tight ship!

One more that may not fall under the term acronym, but I use fairly often. I'll throw it out there and if it is deemed not to fall under this usage, that's fine, no problem in asking is there?

%LOCALAPPDATA% -- C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local

Pretty common usage for me is in relation to LOOT and where it stores it's files.
There's also a whole lot more Windows variables that might be useful but come up very rarely.

Just noticed when I input <username> as text in that string it got stripped out. Is that calling a BB Forum variable or something?

I prefer leaving %LOCALAPPDATA% as it is, because if you put it in the address bar in Windows Explorer, it automatically goes to the correct location. It saves teaching people how to unhide folders and whatnot.
