Question

I wondered what, specifically, causes some ENBs to not properly allow fade-to-black. Winterheart II is mooooostly OK but I can still see a tiny bit sometimes and I'd like to fully fix it if it's possible. I see tons of complaints about ENBs and fade-to-black but I've never seen a cause or solution.

Oh, like if you are using Touring Carriages? Yeah I remember that it didn't get all black then, and I could see my character getting off the cart after I told the driver to wake me upon arrival.

Exactly, Touring Carriages is a big example for the reason you described. If you leave Frostfall's wood-gathering animations on, that's another.

Winterheart II does darken the screen, but it's not quite pitch black. So like I said, I'd like to adjust it if possible.

I think this problem has mostly something todo with a wrong adaptation time in the Adaptation settings. Would be worth a try to disable it for testing purposes in the ENB menu.

I'll give that a try. Thanks! :)

Problem is that most ENB's do not use ApplyGameColorCorrection, which is required for various game effects, one being this fade to black stuff
