This mod has a few ESP's that you can choose from to change the look of rain storms. They are:

• MoreRain.esp - Default
• MoreRainHeavyandDarker.esp - A lot more rain and decreased visibility, with wind effect.
• MoreRainWindy.esp - Adds wind to the storm which causes mist to fly by.
• MoreRainWindy33percentLessView.esp - Same as above, but reduced visibility.
• MoreRainWindy66percentLessView.esp - Same as above, but reduced visibility.

After trying all of them, I settled on the Heavy and Darker version, but mainly because I'm using Real Rain . I think the end result is quite stunning, and I was beginning to feel a little chilly after running around in the downpour for a while. The only thing I wish is that the waves of mist generated would move a little slower.

This mod says it might not work well with Realistic lighting (and very likely RCRN) if you use the reduced view versions because of the fog. What are your experiences with that?

RCRN v3 even mentions it as "not suggested" since it comes with dynimaclly adjusted weathers. It worked fine with RCRN 2.1 though back when I used it so it's not that its incompatible, just not necessary

I haven't tried any weather effects yet with RCRN 3.0. I hope More Rain works as I prefer the heavy and dark rain.

I agree, I really like More Rain and More Snow a lot. I don't know about RCRN's weather, but it would have to be really amazing to beat those two.
