I disabled the previous mod in STEP: Varied Guards and Stormcloaks (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6575) because I wasn't so sure if it was compatible. I believe the other mod is better, anyway.

 

I combine this mod with https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16130 - this is just personal preference of course.

I was thinking to open a thread about this mod. I find it nicer than the step included "Varied Guards and Stormcloaks", which just replaces a few helmets.

I looked at this mod some time ago, reason I didn't try it was that some of the guards simply didn't look like "guards" anymore in my opinion. Some of them are excellent though.

i use the alternative Lawrens RNG Guards worth a look over as well

Personally I've been a fan of the current STEP recommendation but I use the last version which did not use non-vanilla helms.

Checked the mods suggested here. I'm still a fan of Varied Guards and Stormcloaks as some of the outfits in select cities just fits better IMO.
