About the few files conflicting with DynDoLOD ressources, 30 total, do i load it after all this mods or keep it like that :

Some mods intentionally provide LOD and other resources that conflict with DynDOLOD Resources. If you let DynDOLOD Resources override everything, then your LOD may not match your full objects in some cases. For example, the Step SSE build overrides 266 assets from DynDOLOD Resources. Our SSE guide prioritizes DynDOLOD Resources at about 100 of 550.

I've already mentioned what Step recommends previously as a "general rule of thumb". If you take that advice and you see issues with your LOD, then you can determine the exceptions that do not provide proper LOD assets. Some mods provide proper LOD assets, while others do not. Those that do do not always mention how to handle DynDOLOD Resources conflicts. Examples are mountain mods like MM and ERM or Far Object LOD Improvement Project, or Icy Mesh Remaster ... the list goes on and on. DynDOLOD Resources should not override these and many other similar examples.

In the following, all of the mods with red background have asset conflicts that override DynDOLOD Resources. Those with green background have assets conflicts overridden by DynDOLOD Resources:

You must determine how to handle these conflicts for your mod list, because no "one size fits all".

I'l keep my (good) LODs for now and investigate more on each my mods...

... i have not much mods that came with LOD, i can search named DynDoLOD folders in my mods folder, i think it will give me the correct  listing to check first.

 

I have CTD occuring a lot in Whiterun (map, fast travel, doors from interiors) especially near town borders (where town exterior LOD can be triggered), it looks tied to the JK Whiterun patch fix ESP that i had to remove during LOD process... i also viewed a window gliching from far in Whiterun... i'll need fixed ESPs, definitively.

Carefully read and follow the instruction of tools and descriptions of mods.

A mod containing LOD resources should only overwrite DynDOLOD Resources if it specifically mentions it supports DynDOLOD 3. For example https://dyndolod.info/Mods/Majestic-Mountains

Pay attention to warning messages like https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Textures-Do-Not-Match

Pay attention to what https://dyndolod.info/Help/Load-Overwrite-Orders explains about the Riften full models.

DynDOLOD 3 is an alpha test and if there are visual issues, then users are asked to report them as explained at https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum

I'm merging my mods URL links .lnk files in same folder as archives (and .meta since all those are installed in MO)...

... i will also add missing links and when done check all mods and take notes of all specific stuff, espesially for DynDoLOD.

This mod i did not install, but i opened the page anyway when i found the .lnk file and it tells about DynDoLOD v2 & v3 (yes, it's a tree mod), that's the info type i will look at for my installed mods.

I'm not sure what's being reported here. Are these simply conflicts with DynDOLOD Resources?

If you let DynDOLOD Resources override ChampiMarMorthal, then you will have vanilla mushrooms. What's the point then? Looking at the comments on Fancy Morthal Swamp, it's clear DynDOLOD Alpha support was added.

PinTordu seems to provide its own DynDOLOD Resource files. Vurt made Bent Pines, and he knows what he's doing with that one even though it may not technically conform to conventions.

Assorted Mesh Fixes SHOULD overwrite DynDOLOD Resources. treepinforestbroken06 is a proper tree LOD (I know because I made it, IIRC). The same is probably true for Enhanced Landscapes. I personally would let ALL of these override DynDOLOD Resources as I already mentioned. If you review those Nexus mod pages (and posts) carefully, you should see evidence of DynDOLOD support. If you have issues, report them on the official DynDOLOD Alpha support forum with logs as mentioned.

Hello,

what i reported is all the stuff i found about DynDoLOD in my MO2 installed mods folders, i searched with Everything (search app) words "billboard" and "dyndolod", and that's all what has been found.

 

OKay...

a mod that tells it supports DynDoLOD (if well done, and version) is meant to replace Resources files

All others mods, if replace any of the Resources file should not overwrite it and be loaded before instead.

If no file collision occurs with Resources, no need to worry !!!

.. that's what i understand by reading.

 

Thanks for more explanations you just gave, so i'm good to let my mods win over Resources, allright.

It's barely 30 files... and no mention to load after DynDoLOD Ress, that means i'll have to load DynDoLOD low in the left panel of MO2 where it has no file erased by any mod, except his DLL mod !?

Those listed files do not look like conflicting files with DynDOLOD Resources.

OKay...

a mod that tells it supports DynDoLOD (if well done, and version) is meant to replace Resources files

All others mods, if replace any of the Resources file should not overwrite it and be loaded before instead.

If no file collision occurs with Resources, no need to worry !!!

Thanks for more explanations you just gave, so i'm good to let my mods win over Resources, allright.

MO2 has a conflichts tab in the mod properties which lists actualy conflicting files.

If and only if a mod makes a specific note about its own LOD assets needing to overwrite DynDOLOD Resources, they need to be loose files and the mods instructions should be followed. Be aware though about outdated mods not specifically mentioning DynDOLOD 3 or newer versions. Pay attention to Textures do not match warning messages in the log while DynDOLOD is processing base records. If there are visual issues, remove the outdated 3rd party assets to test if the issue goes away. Ask questions or report issues on the official DynDOLOD support forum.

Allright,

i will take my time, i have this 5 ESP to fix first, then i will be able to read well all stuff there on DynDoLOD page (navigations links on left) and take notes (lorder, enable/disable...).

 

I think to install SFO trees only, before redoing LODs, updated 2023-2 for DynDoLOD3 !

 

I moved DynDoLOD ress to not be erased by Pfuscher anymore :p 

Next time will be the good one.

(removed the error in "green" : error could nor be resolved thingy, will do the 5 and report if DyndoLOD unlocked ;))

ALL done, finallly, i didn't know it was one entry by one !!!!!!!
