Would it be possible to use STEP but with Simon Magus' mods (adamant, apothecary, etc)? If so, what would you have to change besides just adding them?

Create the mod pages on the SE Mods forum and provide a description for each below the horizontal line to invoke the review process. Use the editor tool with the change icon.

I wasn't trying to get them added to the guide. I assumed there was some reason they weren't in there since they're so popular and have been around so long. I just wanted to know how I could put them in my own installation.

It's either EnaiRim or SimonRim, you can't really have both at the same time. STEP went partly with EnaiRim, using Vorkrii and Odin - probably because they're closer to vanilla. So SimonRim was out.

Off the top of my head, you'll need to remove at least CACO, Vokrii and Odin, and their associated patches, from the STEP load order, then remove those dependencies from the STEP CR patch(es). Then you can replace them with their SimonRim equivalent. Finally you'll need to add compatibility and conflict resolution patches with the other mods remaining in the load order, as applicable.

I have a different mod I wanted to post. I notice all the threads have the exact same format. Is there a way to automate that or a template you use?

Edit: Nevermind, I understand what you meant now.
