Question

If anyone can help me out here, I'm currently in the process of cleaning the masters of skyrim so I can start a newly modded session. When using TES5Edit to clean the masters the Overwrite section of MO did not populate with the backup file nor the newly cleaned master file. I haven't run into this problem before and am unsure on how to resolve this issue.

The error provided by MO reads as follows:

If anyone knows how to resolve this, or has any advice, I would be extremely thankful.

You need to get MO out of the data folder,C:\Steamgames\Steamlibrary2\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Modding\Skyrim Modding\Modding Programs\Mod Organizer\overwrite\, and into its own folder outside the game folder.

Thank you, resolved the issue right away. I'm truly grateful for the reply, I bet you moderators get a ton of simple fixes like this, I feel a little stupid for setting up the file path incorrectly, but again thank you.

I wish they were all as simple as that. The answer comes from supporting MO for a very long time, knowing what to look for, asking the right questions and 30 years in tech support helps also.
