Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

Yeah, not being able to use Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) is a deal breaker.  The starting dungeon in Alternate start lights up like a Christmas tree without it. So, I went back to the grind stone.  I even tried reworking Re-Enganged ENB.  But, even tweaking it, I can't get the proper glow to sunshiny days.

After a lot of work, I've got one that works with all the Lighting Mods we use and, meets my criteria for, Outside, Inside, and NPC faces with really good FPS.

Darth & Lexy and anyone else,  If you're still looking, give this a try;

Organic Enb - v4.4 by huey9055

Files to download :
  • MAIN FILES - OrganicENB Special Edition

Pre-install steps

  • If you are using the HDMI connection, please enable the "Output dynaic range" setting to "Full".
  • Here's the Nvidia Control Panel under the Display->Change resolution section.

  • Here's the AMD Radeon Additional Settings Pixel Format section.

Special Installation: This has a FOMOD Installer but, I didn't use it.  Download and extract the archive then do the following:

Copy and Paste the contents of the folder 00 Core Files

Copy and Paste the contents of the folder 03 Vivid\MAIN

OPTIONAL - There's an optional Sun & Sunglare texture in the '10 Options' folder if you like

[EFFECT]

Only these two should be set to 'true'

  • UseOriginalPostProcessing=true
  • EnablePostPassShader=true

[colorCORRECTION]

Now, it's important to note that I use an HDMI connected monitor and turned up my blacks and contrast in accordance with the pre-install steps above, so you're "Brightness=" & "GammaCurve=" settings may be a bit less then mine.

  • Brightness=1.40
  • GammaCurve=1.15

[LIGHTSPRITE]

  • IntensityInteriorDay=0.15
  • IntensityInteriorNight=0.15

If you want to try a really fancy setup take a look at my previous post or just try Phoenix ENB + Reshade (following instructions by the letter). It's heavy machinery but the results are superb. SSE keeps unveiling its secrets! No more sharp LODs or blurred faces. Tweak it a little bit and you've got Snapdragon SE ;) Still haven't tested it thoroughy but so far it does a very good job using the lighting setup suggested in this guide.

DarkladyLexy, I would like to suggest that information about Nexus Skyrim Special Edition Categories for Mod Organizer 2 be added to the Configuring Mod Organizer 2 section of the Prerequisites.  This is a MO2 'categories.dat' file listing MO2's categories changed to Nexus categories in alphabetical order.  Modders don't need to use this file, but it makes finding a category in MO2's drop-down category menu far easier.

I actually don't use Categories so I don't see the point.

Hey guys, I finally managed to press the engine in some noticeable way! Tried this ENB (Phoenix ENB with Reshader - followed its instructions carefully and thoroughly) - I can't believe how immensely improved the graphics seem, compared to my previous setup! It's reshader and its plugins that make all the difference. No more flicker! Great AA! Perfect character and texture details! Look at those sun rays in the fog!

I tweaked saturation to 1.5 in the enbeffects in game because the preset does seem a little bleak - but very much in line with those who prefer hardcore realism. Dolomite weathers and, as you can see, obsidian fogs work very well with this and they also have a preset calibrated for Vivid Weathers.

I lost 15 fps in the process. Nothing unfamiliar to classic Skyrim and this time I believe my graphics are superior to my classic build. Unless I utterly need fps back, I'm keeping this setting! But switching off ENB features will always give some fps back while hopefully keeping that magic Reshader appearence.

I do agree this does look very nice I gone the vivid Weathers preset + Reshade and ENB was a little tricky but i got it working i needed to tweak the ENBEFFECT.FX menu (CC:Contrast , CC:Saturation, CC:Brightness) cos interiors were way to bright but tweaked to taste and I am quite happy with the result. I through I was done with my ENB selection but now you have given me food for thought.

I also turned off the stupid annoying Reshade Lens flare

Well, re-shade was nice but too grass too green, NVT too..natural :D, this one is nice too..but some NPCs look like they have hepatitis ..Carlotta, Ysolda eyes more yellow than brown..maybe you could post your settings please.

I am still tweaking but this is what I got so far:

enbeffect.fx.ini

CC: Brightness=1.0

CC: Contrast=1.25

CC: Saturation=1.4

I also disabled ENB's Vsync as let the driver handle that but your choice there.

Ok I have taken a very quick look at Palaces and Castles Enhanced it does have a few issue obviously snazzy esp will have to go but since the snazzy patches need sorting it might as well.

The fps drop is quite significant like near 20 in the blue palace I went form 58fps down to 40fps near the entrance (This is the first massive drop if have experience I dread to think what it will be when i am done and dusted) but it did shoot back up to 58fps when i got a little further in.

It does come with a Relighting Skyrim patch but since we use a custom patch I will need to take a look at it.

All in All I am on the fence if there is room went i get to the end and the overall fps isn't that bad i suppose it could go in but i will think about it.

Don't think you need the relighting patch but you can use the oldrim's PCE-SFCO patch..

yeah problem with that is all the snazzy patches are 43 even on SSE and when you put them through the CK they spew out errors cos of the paintings Gutmaw hand placed. So they all need going over and fixing properly but that is beyond my skills.

So Lexy, are you going with just the replacer for snazzy, or do you have a better idea for furniture altogether?

Not sure if I can give you my patch..but you just need to open the patch in SSEdit and set it's masters as ESM..I don't think I did something else..

As for JK Riverwood..I had that vendor crash bug...went for T's addon..no bug...but bug with Rigmor/Bruma..dropped both and installed the new shiny EtaC Riverwood...success!
