Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I have a few questions.

Are you using Better stealth AI for Followers by kryptopyr? Any incompatibility with mods in SR:LE?

Are you using any autosave mod? What is your save routine if you use only vanilla save method? Do you use quick save at all?

Thanks.

Hi Neo & hishutup,

I had no errors either...just mentioned it as these two versions are not identical. If compared, there are 5 functions in hishutup's version [namely: TimeStr(), FileDateTimeStr(), GetAuthor(), SetAuthor(), FileByAuthor() ], that are not present in latest mator's version (unless the version, as u said, he has on Github is not the latest published).

These functions are not used in hishutup's script; so no harm done. Just wondering which one is the latest though...perhaps mator can shed some light here!

@hishutup...perhaps it will be better to add this function into the code; I have the feeling that not needing (and thus not providing) mteFunction.pas will create a lot less of unnecessary questions.

Thanks guys! :)

OHHH, I think github is outdated...

I was trying one of mator's newest scripts that he just wrote and I completely forgot he add those functions.

You can choose to overwrite or not, it doesnt matter because I dont think anyone is using those functions yet. However, I may be switching to his mxpf script as a proof of concept.

Are the any major conflict on compataiblity issue i need to be aware off beore i go and install i have noticed it seems a lot easier then perkus maximus to install

It has some minor conflicts with AOS2, WAF and Trade & Barter. LOOT most likely puts Trade & Barter below it, so two of Ordinator's perks get reverted to vanilla/Trade & Barter. I simply copied Ordinator's records into my personal patch and let them overwrite T&B. It might mean that a couple of settings in the T&B MCM do not work properly. I believe it was the money merchants receive upon gaining the vanilla Master Trader perk and the costs to invest in a merchant. Just to be safe I don't touch these two settings in the T&B MCM, but they might still work.

As for AOS2, there are about 2 or 3 records that conflict if you load AOS2 after Ordinator. You can use Ordinator's records in a patch that is loaded after AOS2 and if you want to you can drag and drop the sound changes AOS2 makes into that patch.

LOOT placed Ordinator after WAF and it will overwrite some settings, mostly smithing/crafting related I believe. I let Ordinator overwrite WAF.

If you do not want to worry about any patches at all make sure to load Ordinator after both AOS2 and T&B. I don't think the minor conflicts will be very noticeable. I also recommend to check Custom Uncapper for Ordinator, which is based on the ini from Better Leveling: Vanilla. Basically it makes sure you get more perk points/level so you can check out more of Ordinator's perks while at the same time trying not to make it OP.

Finally came back to modding after all this time.

ANyways, I have a question about the new section concerning Windows SDK...

In the guide it says:

Install to the default location and select only ".NET Framework Software Development Kit".

However, this option is not presented anywhere. The option screen of the Windows SDK for Windows 7 looks like this:

and

Am I using the wrong download? I have Win7 x64. The one I found when googling is this one: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8279

Nearox, welcome back.

Hopefully, you are back to update REGS with CJ again.

Thanks ;)

I know there are some major issues atm regarding REGS-SRLE (and perhaps also STEP) combination, particularly concerning Immersive Citizens. I first need to get SRLE up and running again, then I can check REGS. Will take me some time, I'm still super busy.
