Also, it works fine with the perk overhauls, such as Sperg, Ace, Skyre, etc..., as it was recently updated to only add the perks from a predefined set of esps.  By default these are only the vanilla perks.

Ah, I think I missed that. Perhaps I'll try using the perk option too then :p

When it says to install the mods from the REGS pack after your last installed mod , do they mean after the Moonlight tales mod and before the compatibility patches

or

install those after the SR patch File ?

Keep in mind that you'll need to drop Dual Wield Parrying to get the most out of Action Combat.

The author said he tested Action Combat with old versions of DWP and that it worked fine:

"I just tested it with Dual Wield Parrying Random Attacks Dawnguard 2_50 and it actually worked fine. "

I am confused about this part in the REGS - SRLE Special Instructions & Compatibility Guide :

Realistic Room Rental Enhanced

  • You already installed RRRE with SRLE. Completely remove this mod from your install list in MO.
  • Run the RRRE installer again.
  • Select both the ELFX patch and the 3DNPC patch in the installer.

Does this mean  i delete the mod entirly from my modlist and then re install it  in this new location in the  the REGS  mod list ?

After the compatibility patches (which is technically a "mod").

Thorgal, your load order doesn't appear to meet the suggestions of the author of PCaPP.

I posted in the PERMA thread my suggested load order (I am also running SRLE + REGS + PERMA + a few others which end up being ordered by LOOT anyway) before I saw this post, so you, and any others struggling might refer to that.

The main point to take away is don't expect LOOT, as it currently stands, to do a proper job with PerMa without some manual help.

Put the long lists between [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] tags. Alternatively click the third icon at the top of the editor (the one just before Font dropdown), select Spoiler in the BBCode dropdown, and paste your list in the big text box.

Thorgal; No I am afraid that still doesn't look right to me.  To be honest, however, it probably doesn't matter if some REGS or UI mods end up mixed in since they don't touch the stuff covered by Perma, but to be safe, I think we ought follow the instructions of the mod authors precisely.

Once you have ordered the important esps manually according to this thread, make sure you you have highlighted the mods from GDO to PerkusMaximus_warrior.esp (or the apocalypse magic, if you have this installed) together and right click > lock mod order. Do the same for your bottom mods from Alternate start onwards. The perkus esps should be near the top of your load order.

When you run loot, some mods did still interwine with my locked mods, so unlock them, move the mods that ended up inside and move them below or above the last previously locked mod, preserving the order. Then lock them again. You should end up with two contiguous blocks of locked mods; one just under your ESMs, and one at the very bottom.

Also, make sure that you untick 'run loot' when you run SUM, or it will mess it up again, despite the MO lock. LOOT should only be ordering the 'Any other ESPs' (which in our case is quite a lot!). If, of course, you have now finished your set up and is working, I would leave as is.

If you need any more help with this, I think we ought go back to posting in the other thread, since I gather this one is for SRLE installs without additional mods and it would be useful to gather up all the PERMA install related issues together.

well i did do a few tests and so far it seems to work fine as it is .

So ill keep it like this  for now .

Should i run into problems ill post it in the other thread .

When I run SUM, nothing happens. I get a SkyProc Patcher file in my MO overwrite folder but no list of installed patchers. I created a mod from the MO overwrite but I think it is not working the way it is supposed to be. i.e. I cannot do the below step:

A list of installed patchers should be displayed with a check box next to each.
Click the arrow next to each patcher icon and configure them as in the subsections below.
Click [sUM Options] and uncheck "Run LOOT".

I tried reinstalling SUM. I downloaded the latest version of Java and even the JarFix tool indicated by the SUM installation readme. When I went into the MO>mods>skyprocs patchers>SUM there was no SUM.jar (but it does show up in the MO data window when setting as an executable.

Any help would be appreciated.

I finally got SUM to work, but only by going into the MO>mods>SUM folder and double clicking on the SUM.jar. But I do not get any patchers (despite having ASIS and Dual Sheath Redux. Have I missed a step?
