DonQ Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Not entirely sure where to ask this, and a cursory search didn't yield an answer, but with the Skyrim Special Edition on the horizon with all the changes and doubtless conflicts that will entail, are there plans to conclude Skyrim Revisted: Legendary Edition (keeping the final iteration of the guide for posterity) and beginning anew with a Skyrim Special Legendary Edition? Thank you! V/R, Don Q
paul666root Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Well this depends on how many mods will be available for the new version and how many need rebuilding... but i'm sure when the time is right SRLE will get remade.

Electrocutor Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I expect that it will take some time though as the guys in charge of the Unofficial Patch will have to create a whole new one.
jdsmith2816 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Usleep is already ready according to arthmoor post. Mostly we need skse and skyui
Nozzer66 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Or whatever's going to replace SkyUI since I believe they're not going to do it themselves and bring it across.
Darth_mathias Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I think as soon as the new SKSE and whatever replaced SKYUI so we can have MCM and the new NMM is release modding on SSE will take over
Nozzer66 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I'll never use NMM. Not until tannin's turned it into something more like MO.
theApe Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I'll never use NMM. Not until tannin's turned it into something more like MO.I feel hopelessly handicapped using NMM :P Not being able to do manual install, whaaat? :P
jdsmith2816 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I feel hopelessly handicapped using NMM :P Not being able to do manual install, whaaat? :PYou can do manual manual install right? Extra archive to folder... configure it how you want.. copy it into the NMM mod directory? ;)
theApe Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 You can do manual manual install right? Extra archive to folder... configure it how you want.. copy it into the NMM mod directory? ;)That´s what I do, yes :) Old skool! But MO makes things way easier and organized, not to mention not having to nuke you entire setup if something goes wrong... oh, wouldn´t it be nice if Bethesda used a separate folder for user installed mods instead of everything in the data directory...
jdsmith2816 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 (edited) You could always go back to using wrye bash as mod manager until the new version of NMM from Tannin comes out... IMO it's way more suitable to the task than the current NMM is... Edited October 27, 2016 by jdsmith2816
George79 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Well so far Skyrim SE is garbage. Improvements are not even remotely close to a SRLE Skyrim. Don't know if they've stabilized the game since I haven't played much or modded it but so far, the graphics and effects are below average.
Electrocutor Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 So...https://techraptor.net/content/skyui-not-in-the-works-for-skyrim-special-edition It sounds like he's okay if someone else wants to do the work, but give him the credit for porting SkyUI. There have already been a couple people who posted their own partial ports without his permission that were immediately removed. ----It also sounds like Boris is having issues even getting Skyrim:SE to run and hasn't decided if he even wants to mess with it. Apparently, the Fallout 4 ENB was a whole heck of a lot of work for him due to lack of workaround options.
TechAngel85 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 That's because Boris is still running Windows XP and refuses to upgrade. :: Users have even offered to purchase him Windows 7 and he just doesn't want it.
