Cant merge ELE through merge plugins

Have tried numerous times but I keep getting this error,

 

no idea how to fix it, any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you set LOOT Metadata Rule for it before merging?

oh I thought that was to be done after the merging process, will try it out now thanks!

Okay, I followed that process however the same error is occurring, so no change unfortunately

you don't need to set a loot rule only after the merge. I suggest you remove first the mod and reinstall it (ELE Lite) check again with the guide that you didn't installed it wrong or maybe a bad download... then place the two esps last in your load order as in the guide and then try to do the merge

Were you able to get this resolved?  I'm getting the exact same error when I try it.  I did try to uninstall the mod and install a fresh copy but the error persists.

In case someone runs into this in the future, I was able to fix the issue by loading only the Enhanced lighting files and their masters in the merge program.  I removed the existing merge I had and created a brand new one with the two files.  The merging completed successfully after that.
