Ok, i made sure dyndolod is fully installed and checked if Meshes\lod\whiterun\wrcastlestonetowertop01_lod_2.nif exists and it did. DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_SSE_meshes.txt contains the line meshes\lod\whiterun\wrcastlestonetowertop01_lod_2.nif. Check if DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\Export\LODGen_SSE_Tamriel.txt - it does not contain the formid 0F005DCA but it does contain the mesh lines. Open meshes\terrain\Tamriel\Objects\Tamriel.4.4.0.bto in nifksope and check if you can see the top part of the castle together with all the other object LOD. - oh noes, i got no objects folder ._. Can u tell me whats actually the best way to create those needed files? Can i use xlodgen?

Just checked the form ids in xedit and found a difference: https://imgur.com/a/6Y8ny2p . After giving id 0f005dca the same record flags as id c003317f, it worked just fine and was static. I am unsure what could have caused this, since i didnt alter the dyndolod ini at all, nor did i modify any rules. I also reinstalled the core files before generating new lod. Never had this problem before. Never had open cities installed.

Hey sheson, i got a problem with the whiterun castle lod. For some reason a part of it doesnt seem to be static (only windows are there) and i cant see it from big distances. When i walk closer towards it, it pops in. Here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/Z5rgQBa . Could this be caused by dyndolod, or is it some kind of conflict?

Did you check taskmanager to see if dyndolod utilizes processor power? for me dyndolod seems to get "stuck" quite often during the process, but its not cause it stopped. Its because it uses 99-100% of processor power. Just saw your post and took a guess :P

had no problems loading the textures and didnt get ctds so far. just noticed this not gamebreaking bug: https://imgur.com/a/gGUcVuh but i am certainly not sure if its caused by dyndolod itself or a compatibility issue with another mod (elfx/exteriors maybe?)

ah, ok. i will try them now. the increase in speed is compared to 2.47. but the gpu part can be the reason.

Dyndolod still finished much faster than previous versions, but the filesize now is much smaller. still i think theres something wrong. heres the log: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8erjkdmjg6df6h2/DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt/file

ran dyndolod after and saw some errors too. it also finished much faster and put out 10gb of data. removing antivir didnt fix it also. dont know how to get it running properly heres the dyndolod 2.49 log: http://www.mediafire.com/file/37mpnijicbydj3i/DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt/file heres the texgen 2.49 log: http://www.mediafire.com/file/0szdzeizdo39e38/TexGen_SSE_log.txt/file

Ok, just finished testing them and couldnt see any kind of bug. Not sure what to think about that.

i can confirm, that those textures were loaded into the temp folder. 2.49 removed the bsa error message for me, but the other errors still persist. running texgen as admin didnt fix it and the graphic drivers are the newest. i will try to uninstall my antivirus and test it again. Edit: despite the error messages texgen finished and to me it seems like it created the textures properly(?) even tho the filesize is much larger. at least they are there and compressed into bc7. the amount of textures seem to match the one from previous versions. i will try to load them ingame now.

os is windows 10 with newest updates. card is gtx 1080 ti. uac and antivirus are not interfering/nothing changes with them disabled. dropped dyndolod directly into c:\ didnt change anything. Heres the report: <adapter>: 0: VID:10DE, PID:1B06 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 1: VID:1414, PID:008C - Microsoft Basic Render Driver

just used texgen with new bc7 compression and got lots of errors. it also told me to load my bsa´s correctly, but they are since i could use the 2.47 texgen without any problems. heres the log: https://www.mediafire.com/file/59c6eb1iazrgt81/TexGen_SSE_log.txt/file

Just got the same cyclik errors after updating and generating lod with 2.45. Here is what loot tells me: Cyclic interaction detected between "DynDOLOD.esm" and "Book Covers Skyrim.esp". Back cycle: Book Covers Skyrim.esp, RealisticWaterTwo.esp, DynDOLOD.esm

Hi and thanks for this great tool. It gave me some really nice and finally my landscape textures matching lods. Just got a question about the Solstheim worldspace. The generation of lodfiles for this worldspace takes the longest even much longer than tamriel. While it generates around ~2,6k texture files for tamriel it generates over 8k(!) for solstheim, most of them are just blank and alot of them are duplicates and overwrite themselves. Is this behaviour intended or is it a bug? Maybe its on my end, i am not sure.

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Tacocat replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Ok i think i got what to do but isnt it weird when EVERY mod with these values have the same? even the skyrim.esm got far lower values and after the skyrim.esm every other mod got the same values. Do i have to change it for every mod? I am confused. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Tacocat replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
When i come to the part where the values are, the last mod that modifies them is your hrothgar window glow.esp. I am not sooo deep into this tes5edit stuff (i was happy when i got dyndolod to generate lod , but all the numbers there are pretty much the same so i am not really sure what to change. Can you give us a small tutorial video/guide? -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Tacocat replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hello, i got a problem with the newest dyndolod version. I followed the tutorial to update the mod, but when i try to generate new lod i get an error message when tes5edit tries to generate lod for tamriel. I am not sure what to do since i didnt have this problem before. Here is what the script tells me: [00:16:18.899] Doing LOD for Tamriel added by Skyrim.esm[00:16:18.967] Options 01000010011111010001000003010300[00:16:18.984] Dimensions -57, 51, -43, 51[00:16:18.999] ERROR: Worldspace bounds of Tamriel outside +- 128 cells, please remove or fix the broken mod.[Apply Script done] Processed Records: 0, Elapsed Time: 16:32 It tells me about a broken mod, but i have absolutely no clue which mod it could be since it doesnt mention any. I hope someone can help me -
