  1. I forgot about EMDR. that probably explains it more. I've reinstalled that at the lowest setting and put DCO back in. lets see if this is viable now It was pretty much unplayable. I had assaults off after that encounter where I basically had to use console to get past them. Plus game was crashiong probably because it was ragdolling so much I should've been dead
  2. Jesus. Granted my version is a few weeks out (just before you removed Morskom) but I'm removing DCO. Dragons aren't hard they're impossible. I was level 18 when I fought the first dragon and I ended up having to go into god mode and just stand there peppering it with crossbow bolts for 20 minutes (couldn't use a bow... everytime I tried to draw back he'd land and stagger me or knock me over). After that I changed the level to vanilla (i'd rather play than grind and die a lot) and few hours later I coach travel to dragon bridge... and get attacked by 3 dragons including one thats apparently a ghost and keeps spawning high level baddies pretty much constantly (literally, I just about kill one and then he vanishes and reappears fully healthed again behind his vanishing corpse). Thats a bit much.
  3. Nevermind I'm a numpty. somehow I'd missed updating frostfall to the latest version and was still on 3.1. I updated to 3.3, re-ran SUM (as it was CTDing otherwise) and now all back
  4. Thats the problem. The bugs are missing :/ the two on the sides for scrolling.
  5. Just out of interest has anyone had any trouble with Frostfall and the endurance perk tree? when I make a campfire I only seem to get the camping perk tree. I would expect the usual glowing bugs to either side to scroll through perk trees but only get the red one to leave. anyone else got this or seen and know a fix? Google has failed me.
  6. yup :) many thanks. dunno if it was running dyndolod again on high or fixing the stunning statues install but it's working fine now. thanks. I'll leave DYNDOLOD on high for now. May re-run it at medium though if it causes too many dropped frames
  7. He might be right I just checked my existing install and I'd missed a folder (the "architecture folder in meshes/prometheus/architecture/statuessnow/) I've just changed it although my dyndolod is half ran so might not work. If not then i'll run again now it's in the right place.

  9. Ran that nodifference. I'm re-running DYNdolod for a third time :) only difference is i'm going to run on High this time when I ran medium last time. I think i can survive the frame drop as i seem fairly smooth (although no idea of actual numbers thanks to ENB FPS being broke).
  10. You're right. I disabled dynDOLOD.exp and i works fine. Thats weird as I'd already re-ran Dyndolod ocne after the crash. Anyone any ideas why it might have broken? I'm using the beta scripts sheson made to use less strings which I'm assuming you are using as well Darth?
  11. I hadn't although it was crashing before I updated. I've ran it anyway and will test. I've not started the whole disabling mods and working my way down yet. I'll copy/paste my post fromt he main thread here again including the papyrus logs: I'm not great at reading them. Here is the messages just before the crash.   13. damn.. any ideas what mod might be causing it? Is the wolves den a vanilla thing or added by something like immersive creatures of SkyTEST? if so might reinstall them just incase.
  14. ok come out of fellhammer main entrance and turn to face NNE. There is a map marker (type hidden to me because of the compass mod) not far away. As soon as you approach whatever that is from ANY direction (I even circled around and came at it from the west) it CTD's screenshot below just line up with that and walk straight. https://gyazo.com/257b0845fa843b01d3e6e34e6fec93a5
  15. Hey. I put this in the SRLSE extended page since I was talking to Darth but figured would spin it off to it's own thread I have a weird ctd. My game has been amazingly smooth and stable up till now (I'm level 4 and started on solstheim with the"I was attacked and left for dead" start). I'm on my way on foot from whiterun to dawnstar to view morskom estate. On way I've just cleared out fort fellhammer but as soon as I leave there through main gate and head north east to a nearby map marker to see what it is I ctd as soon as I get to where I'm just about to look over the Ridge. Same without fail everyone. The save loads fine and will continue playing if I go other directions just not that one. Anyone else seem this or know why it.might be happening? For record my build is pretty much as guide apart from leaving in sfo, enhanced camera and I also added back in windstad mine as I liked the sound of it. I also only.installed some of the follower mods. don't think its memory blocks. Ran it then crashed and I was only about 630 and I have it set at 1024. I tried upping it to 1152 just incase but no difference. I've copied the bottom of the log below. I notice column 2 is hitting 256 is this relevant? usually I only look at the first column and the total of the two? 267 256272 256273 256285 256292 256303 256319 256320 256321 256322 256344 256365 256 Also I'd be grateful if someone with a similar purish setup could fast travel to Fellhammer and see if they can replicate it as well as any suggestions to try and find the cause short of removing and reinstalling every mod one by one since that would just find the mod but not whyt he mod is causing it?

  18. Although it'd be weird if it was since it survived running in and around whiterun with barely a dropped frame (seriously I'm amazed how smooth it is running. I'm half thinking I didn't install the end right or something! :) )

Fair enough although I'm going to leave in for now my game seems pretty stable apart from that one CTD near dawnstar (seriously. theres one dip in the land as soon as I approach to look over it I crash, hence why re-running the end and DYNDOLOD incase it's a screwed up LOD). was the CR update just to remove morskom? If so for now I might stay on the previous one from yesterday. with the EBT instructions because it just lists the form ID's and not the full path (Impact and Impact lvls from memory?) it was tricky to find them. Using the form ID's search box just showed the ID's in the skyrim.esm. I had to look what path they were in there then manually try and locate the same path in the CR.esp. Maybe just include the full path structure? or I'm just searching for the FormId's wrong.

I was just updating my install to the latest with the guide (managed to get through the EBT instructions although it was a little tricky) but I notice you've literally just removed Morskom estate? Whats the reason for this I was looking forward to trying it out. Also I saw the CR was updated was this just to remove morskom or other reasons? Reason I was updating was i keep CTD'ing in a certain region on my way to dawnstar on foot. Is this maybe related to why you've removed it?
  23. Ahh fair enough. Been since Jan when I last logged in so didn't realise it was an issue. there's a built in FPS counter in Steam so going to see how that works

Great and you can take the fact that, with you knowing how anal I can be, the fact the list is so small means it's already pretty good :) Although weirdly (and I got this on my SRLE build as well) the FPS counter in the ENB seems to be weird now? it jst seems to randomly fluctuate around 7-8000 FPS? Only dropping down to 30 when in loading screens. The game actually runs really smooth but i've no idea what the actual FPS is now. Anyone else seen this?
  25. Just to answer your question about how to keep up with changes to the guide I usually use the history option BUT I go to the most recent change then save that as a favorite link. That way if any further changes are made when I goto the link I'll see a "new edit" link in top right and I know there are further changes to be made. I've just finished my install so I'll make a history favorite then every now and then work forward from this updating mods/making changes as necessary until I'm either fed up and want to stop or get to the end. then I'll make a new link and delete the original. It's worked pretty well for me. If i'ts a change to some wording or something within the instructions for a mod where it's not very clear what it's referring to I'll tend to open up the current guide and just do a search for a key word from the change and work it out from there. After a while you get a feel for reading it.
