  1. I just checked on my version. it should be there. Maximise the window first. If that doesn't bring it back click just to the right of the modlist till you get the icon to expand a column and drag to the left. I've just managed to make mine vanish and come back.
  2. OK so there maybe a chance I got a little carried away. I installed crossbows of the commonwealth (on a new profile) then decided to add Better settlers. But then you have to add various clothing mods for the community pack and before I knew it I'd added everything under the elianora, DX and Pack it up (backpacks) merge patches on the armorsmith page. On the plus side it seems to work at least. Not crashed yet although not been in a settlement long enough to see a new person turn up. Oh I also added Elianoras companion overhaul and might add that valkyr face texture listed before as it seems to be the standard one on most lists.
  3. I figured as much :) good job on the guide play as much as you want. Out of interest with your new framework if I wanted to add Crossbows of the cOmmonwealth would that work straight away or would it need to be patched in?
  4. Morning. My cough isn't shifting so got up early and figured I'd update. Some nice looking mods going in. Just working my way through the installs and a few comments: Take cover - The optional to install the hotkey command into FO4 Hotkeys could do with a bit more explanation since it's a CMD file you run. I ended up having to copy the hotkeys.ini into the data folder directly. runt he CMD (as it couldn't see it otherwise) then move it back after the merge. Alternatively you could just tell people to add Shift-Mouse2=cqf cover activate at the bottom of hotkeys.ini Prewar Binoculars - FOMOD instructions missing. I assumed we should choose the AWCKR version and chose standard view since it says not compatible with customised views and we probably have some. Better Explosives - Again no fomod but guessing this is coming. For now I've chosen Normal Version, Far Harbour DLC Enhanced grenades and Persk Redone no trajectory.

  6. Some auto labelled. Others I just had to drop and pick up and they got the correct Icons (note to self. Don't drop green combat armour on long green grass if you want to find it again). Weapons I'd renamed didn't get an icon even when dropped. But this was named on that old save.
  7. ok loaded up an old save. game seems very smooth even WITH a save so old it dates back before the fist DLC! also the menus look great good job.

  10. I might do a bit of research onto survival mode. As I say I like the idea of it but i've heard some of it is a bit poorly implemented (for example only saving at bed) there's several mods that give you alternatives to save plus ways to fast travel between your settlements if not everywhere etc. Will have a look at what you might be able to include in a survival mode plugin and report back.

Then I look forward to it :) I'm debating whether to continue a playthrough or wait for you to work. thats not to rush you just wanting to make sure I get the game as stable and feature rich as it's able to at the moment. By the way I was looking at that Horizons mod (the survival Overhaul). don't think it'll work with the guide just because it touches so many parts of the game and isn't really modular (for example it tweaks combat damage alreadyw hich the weapon overhauls already touch plus changes healing and that might conflict as well).

  13. Ok just launched up my old save (many many more hours and levels) and it works great. I managed to craft up one of each crafting table (weaponsmith, armorsmith etc) and all managed to maek somethign with no issues including editing already modded weapons. One thing I noticed with amorsmith was theres a LOT in there but no backpacks or similar plus outfits limited. I know there are patches on the armorsmith extended mod page for various packs of outfits including one for backpacks. Would there be any issues with installing these packs and then adding the armorsmith pathces that come with it or will this screw up all the work you are doing with your patches for VIS etc? Or is that something you might do as a separate plugin (extra clothes and/or weapons to import?). I've also seen the below which seems interesting considering a lot of the weapons already have "on back" models in the weaponsmith bench already int he pack https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10317/? And this went up today from Elianora which basically overhauls all of the companions: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18739/?
  14. I didn't look that close yet. I was more kicking myself and calling myself an idiot for missing a simple change and wasting a day on it :) Also well done.
  15. OK finally got to the bottom of it. Answer was I'm a numpty (and dosed up on lemsip). I'd forgot to hide the armorkeywords.esm when installing concealed armors. that was the problem with both editing my modded weapons and the armor workbench. So finally looks like I have a stable install. Is there any ETA o the animations plugin out of interest?
  16. OK quick update. Removed all wep mods (and disable weapon patch). armorbench now works. Reinstall them all one by one to make sure done correctly and CTD's again. so it's something interfering with them definitely. I'm doing weapons plugin 2 by the way. My next step is to go through and reinstall the crafting mods just incase and see.
  17. I deleted everything and reinstalled from scratch (apart from anything put into the data Fallout 4 game folder like F4SE and ENB. I'll play around with mods after folks leave (just arriving now).
  18. Ok just quickly ran through a new save. got to sanctuary and STILL CTD as soon as I click on the armorbench? Is this just me? If so I might have to go through and reinstall some stuff.
  19. OK just gone through your load order and set mine to match as best i can. Theres a few esps you have that I don't and vice versa (my load order should just contain your core and plugins. i've not added anything myself until it;s working if at all). As you say some of these might just be from your testing. I'm going to double check the mods they come from later and reinstall if necessary. Would be grateful if you can just markt he ones that you have that aren't part of guide (yet!) just so I can ignore them Also still CTD on armorbench. i noticed with the weapon mods the only ones i've having issue with is weapons i've already modded before. I grabbed a random looeted pipe pistol and could mod it no problem. A bit later (after checking the plugins and folks have gone) I'm going to start a fresh game and run through to sanctuary and see if i can get into armorbench then. It might just be my save.   20. no problem i'm giong through it line by mine and changing mine to match (don't want to just copy and overwrite my txt rather see what issue is. One thing I noticed on yourse you still have OCDecorator - No Experience.esp but you've had us disable that in latest version of guide. Just incase you'd missed it yourself.
  21. FYI anyone. it's not a new update this morning they actually rolled back the 1.7.19 update because it was causing issues with mods.   22. tried that just for bug testing. Definitely got something wrong with my setup. When I tried to mod a different weapoin it again went invisible and, in the weapon bench now only lists the receiver and legendary items as changable. tried dropping it on the floor (which was fun as the model is now invisible!) then picking up. Changed the receiver but all that did was give me a floating receiver in my hands! Also Armorbench CTD'd on me again. Is anyoen else getting this or just me? If just me I might just bite the bullet and reinstall all my non-texture mods one by one.
  23. Nevermind. Won't be doing that yet as Bethesda did a stealth patch this morning so version number changed and F4SE has stopped working again :/ need to wait for them to update it. Yeah figured out my derp. I'd installed the new one but forgot to change the name so it installed into the (deactivated) Power armor patch folder. I've rmeoved every patch and reinstalled again. Now just got to wait for F4SE to update.
  24. folks are running late so just quickly went through and updated my install with the changes from yesterday. Just so you know your VIS_Holotapesettings.esp patch still has mso_sms.esp as a master (settlement management softwarE) even though you've removed this from the guide. gonna boot now and see if i still get ctd at armor workbench or glitches with adding mods to the pistol.
  25. Just out of interest are you running on the latest patch of FO4 from Thursday or still the prior version? If so might have to update F4SE on the guide. also you'll probably get that annoying looks menu popup.
