  1. Since it's not common among all Windows 10 users, I can't say why the program is blocked and why the listed solution worked to resolve my problem. That said, I imagine some percentage of other users will run into the same thing. I've added my specs to my sig since the earlier post, so perhaps the next user who needs this advice will find some commonality there. I've also provided an edit to my earlier post. EDIT: I've found an existing thread for the issue I originally needed to solve. Link: Please Help - Made The Switch To Mod Organizer And External Installer Never Finishes (Solved Thanks To Grant)
  2. @dreadflopp I've been searching Google, Reddit, Nexus and multiple forums for the latest on this, but haven't gotten an explicit answer in either direction. Do you know if PerMa is still incompatible with MLU?
  3. Reading the posts, it sounds as though the fix has been integrated into PerMa.
  4. Another caveat for those running Windows 10 - installing this mod will be the first during STEP: Core where you must change NexusClientCLI.exe to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode. Otherwise, Mod Organizer will wait forever for the program to execute. Step by step guide: 1. Open Windows Explorer 2. Browse to your Mod Organizer directory (If you install it in the default directory, go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Mod Organizer) 3. Open the NCC sub-directory 4. Right-click the NexusClientCLI.exe, choose Properties 5. Choose the "Compatibility" tab 6. Check the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" 7. Choose Windows 8 in the drop down box just below 8. Click the Apply button 9. Click the OK button NCC installations should now work. EDIT: It has since been revealed that not all Windows 10 users are affected. That said, some percentage of other users will run into this issue. I want to find a better solution to the problem, so please reply with hardware specs. EDIT 2: I've found an existing thread for the issue I originally needed to solve. 5. @GamerPoets thanks for your reply. Sorry, yes and I wasn't specific enough. I was referring to the MO optional recommendation to hide that esp. I'm new here and the "why" really helps me when I want to know what choices are right for my intended play experience.
  6. Why would one want to disable imp_help_legend.esp? Why is this step optional? I'd like to add this information to the Wiki, but I don't have permission.
  7. I believe some conditionals need to be added to the notes for this mod explaining why it's not recommended to enable it in MCM. I would make this change to the Wiki myself, but it shows the error, "protected to prevent editing or other actions." More generally speaking, I'm going down the STEP: Core installation instructions for the first time and I need to know what recommendations are made based on keeping a vanilla experience. STEP: Core is also aimed at users who want a solid foundation on which to install non-vanilla mods.
