    I would say not a good idea. There is clearly and issue in your game causing you to crash, and you should def fix whatever is making you crash there. Who know what other issues it might be causing in other areas of the game. That's really Odd, I never experienced that issue before. Sadly disabling all mods and adding a few at of time to see if the problem persists is the only way to find out what is causing it.

    The eyes even look like this without oblivion character overhaul. They look like this when it is vanilla oblivion on some npc's that are khajits. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a bad copy of the game. I purchased my copy from steam towards the end of last December. Also I'm really happy you are going to look and tweak this guide again hishutup. I really want to replay oblivion specially because I didn't care for skyrim too much but loved oblivion. If there is anything I can do to help out please let me know, I will say my experience in modding isn't much but I'm willing to help and I want to learn so I can eventually have a nice stable game running. @general happy pie, that's odd, I never experienced CTD's anywhere around anvil. Only CTD's I experienced is by the leywinn harbor which I'm not sure which is causing this one. The other is OOO making me crash between horns cave and ill omen inn.

    Sadly no, I'm re going over the guide and hopefully it works out this time. Also the "G" key that is making your game crash is normal. It's from the new version of oblivion reloaded, altnet is working on fixing it. I'm very determined to get a stable set up using this guide. It would be nice to work with someone who is also trying to ruin this guide to get this running stable so we can help each other out. If I cant get a stable load running using this guide with certain tweaks and not, I wouldn't mind revising it so it is stable for others. My modding experience isn't that great however.

    My game crashes after a good distance of runninig. Let's say every 20 to 30 mins and no particular spot. Is this normal? I swear no mods I'm using conflict with each other and if they do I have the patches to sort that out.

    is it inevitable to stutter like crazy inside cities with better cities? I stutter a tiny bit in most cities but anvil I stutter like nuts. I also have OSR Also I'm seeing peoples teeth through their face from a distance? anyone know what this might be?

    Sounds logical enough. Will take a while, but that's the sacrifice you have to make for a stable game. Does anyone have experience with landmagic? I don't know how to run it It says just extract anywhere and run it but it does nothing for me :(

    Also Should I clean all my mods? for example MMM has a ton of dirty edits, how ever some are required to function which I won't touch those of course.

    Oh haha well that information will be useful. I always though my random ctds were from other causes. However it seems even when I walk through this place is crashes. sometimes I won't crash when I walk through there but 90% of the time I do sadly

    it still crashes sadly, do you think "player.setav speed 1000" could causes CTD's? this command in console makes your character move extremely fast. I use this to do a test run and run all around cyrodil to make sure I don't CTD. it seems if I normally run through there without using the above console command I posted I will be fine, but if I use the above console command I CTD, but without or I can fly through there with that command, or without OOO same thing. It's just with one another it crashes.

    Im getting a a CTD while using OR with OOO between Horn cave and ferygll inn. I been trying locate what was causing the issue, and it seems once I enabled OR with OOO it CTD's when I either fast travel to Horn cave, or when I'm traveling on the road by horn cave to fergyll inn. This is also with ONLY OR and OOO installed in order to rule out any other mods. I really don't see how OR is causing the CTD, but when I enable OOO and OR together it crashes at the place I described. If you guys could help that would be great. I'm using the latest version of OR and OOO

    I reformatted and it fixed my issue with better cities crashing. I'm on the game play section and the only things that make the game unstable so far are cobl and cobl cosmetics. Other than that so far the game seems pretty stable, ran around for a good few hours without any ctds. I exited my game after a few hours of running around. So cobl and cobl cosmetics should be removed from the guide. Other people may or may not being experiencing the same thing I am with cobl.

    Everytime I use wyre bash for oblivon it is being super slow. When I try to click something it takes forever to register and is unresponsive. It's really annoying, can anyone help me fix this? is there anything known to make wyre bash really slow? it was working just fine until it seems I had an abundance of mods dropped in the installers tab.

    I fixed the random crashes with enb boost, but I still crash in chorrol. I would rather use an enb but sadly without enb boost I crash :( can anyone help me congiure enb boost properly so I stop stuttering. My game runs buttery smooth with this but sometimes gets a huge sutter I figured it out.

    So so far most of this guide seems to be pretty stable still with exception of a few mods here and there. My game usually only crashes when it has to load up whole bunch of textures.

    They are different. Thanks so much man!!! these seams have been bothering me so much!!! my wyre bash is being really slow, when I click on something is says not responding and takes forever to register what I did any fix for this? or is this normal?

    ^this. This guide will be extremely helpful for anyone who wants to start modding oblivion. I wish I can say I was a expert at modding, I just read the read me thoroughly and hope there are no incompatibilities besides the mods that the read me lists. Do you know of any guides to help someone get more of a stable load? I could benefit greatly from one. All I know right now is read the read me's for incompatibilities, have a good load order by using boss some mods will require manually placing, and make sure you have all the patches required. Also I noticed some seams on the ground floor, was wondering if that is normal. For some reason as well a tweaked enb lowers my fps down from mostly 60ish to a constant 30-35 but it feels way more smooth.

    We appreciate everything you did, and yeah I figured. I been using this guide as a base and it should most likely be stable. It seems to be mostly texture packs and you can pick and choose quests you want to add in which in my opinion those are what will cause the game to be stable or unstable. And the Issue that I'm dealing with better cities right now is a whole separate issue. Even when the mod is installed with nothing but the unofficial patches I still crash sometimes. I'm just going to have to deal with it.

    Hmmm that's odd. Sometimes better cities around chorrol will work for me and sometimes it won't even tested it without any mods installed besides the unofficial patches have the right load order and everything. I also checked all the folders and it has the right textures and meshes. I did run the 4gb patch and don't think I ran out of mem I'm only using the mods form the pack. Also my game is super suttery is that normal? It's super stuttery around bravil to leyawinn. I installed osr and everything. I really wish changing resolutions would help me with fps but for some reason they stay the same if I swtich from 4k to 2k or even 1080p. I really wish or would allow me to use my second 980 ti, but I know it's not really supported even in vanilla oblivion.

    I have no Idea what it is now it started to work fine then I installed graphical improvement project and they go missing again.
