I mean you don't have to spend a few hours doing that. It's up to you. A lot of factors could have caused this. I can't be sure but at a glance, it seems that ENB 0.217 was more stable for me than 0.221. Also, I switched from Skyrealism ENB to Project ENB so you never know if that introduced some new unknowns.

I have no issue with traveling back and forth. Â Of course my mod list doesn't contain wet and cold or dragonborn climate overhaul. My mod list is actually a bit small right now though, only 90 mods active.I forgot to mention....the problem only happens when you fast travel from Solstheim back to Skyrim AFTER playing on Solstheim for a while. The game needs time to load up on Solstheim data for the ILS to happen. If you load up Skyrim, travel to Solstheim, and then immediately travel back to Skyrim, the ILS will not happen. If you want to test it out, go do a dungeon run on Solstheim or run from one side of the map to the other or something and then try fast traveling back. That should generate the ILS.Â

Will do man. Aiyen, if you find a way to shift the travel point to that other location, let me know how to do it! Honestly, if you can figure that out (and it prevents the ILSs), it should be included as a "fix" for S.T.E.P. since the Solstheim-Skyrim ILS is a very common issue. No, I never covered it before. I'm currently using the following: Solstheim Climate Overhaul (used the compatibility patch so that I can use this with CoT - Dragonborn as well): https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33919/? Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul (both architecture and landscape 2k): https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/42348//? Ash Rocks (2k option since 4k showed no improvement that I could see): https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/41335/? The dragonborn files from AmidianBorn Book of Silence: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24909/? Wet & Cold: Ashes: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31968//? I believe that's it.Â

I'll give it a try. Like I said, the ILS only happens when traveling back to Skyrim from Solstheim. I also got a freeze on Solstheim last night. Could be one of my Dragonborn mods. I think the Dragonborn mods aren't looked at as closely for stability as the regular Skyrim mods since there are so few so it could be something that I added recently.Â

Has anyone used 13.9 AMD Drivers?

It's possible. I'm still confused about the OpenGL part. I've definitely set custom profiles for OpenGL games before. -

About a week and a half. -
That's probably why I was confused. I'm using Wrye Bash, not NMM. There is no wizard for WB.

I've created custom profiles before for games like half life 2 though, which runs on OpenGL. -
What does this mean? I found it in the release notes. "OpenGL support for User Profiles and Catalyst Application Profiles Users can now create, per application, 3D setting profiles for OpenGL applications. OpenGL applications are now supported through Catalyst Application Profile updates (for single GPU and AMD CrossFire configurations)."

I use ENB-Boost, yea. It has reduced my CTD/Freezes to about 1-2 per hour which is ok with me honestly. Honestly, I think the ILS is due from Skyrim loading everything in Solstheim and then loading everything in Skyrim without first dumping all the Solstheim textures. I haven't tried this but I think an easy fix would be just to save right before you want to return to Skyrim, quit to menu, load, and THEN fast travel back to Skyrim.

Good point. I just like the customization provided with it. It has an optional 'warm' color which is a bit redder but not as red as CoT default, and an optional sunGLARE which is a bit more intense. It was also way easier to get working with an ENB than skyrim sunglare v4. Regardless, I'm not sure if I would recommend replacing Skyrim Sunglare v4 in the STEP Guide with this, however I think there should be a short section on the ENB page listing a few sun texture/glare choices and a notice explaining that if you're using a custom sun texture/glare, you're most likely going to have to tweak the enbseries.ini settings for it to match.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42492/ This is made by the same guy that did the Climates of Tamriel Weather Patch: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/39799/ It's a nice looking sun texture replacer that in my opinion, works better with ENB and is not as large or intense as Skyrim Sunglare v4. It also fixes the reddish sun color of Climates of Tamriel and comes with another plugin that corrects the size/intensity of the sun during snow weathers which is a vanilla issue. This is more realistic to me than Skyrim Sunglare v4.

Which ENB are you using and why?

:-) I have a lot of pretty pictures. I wanna see other people's! -
What's the difference between the 'original' 2k option and the 'new' 2k option? I don't see any description or screenshot comparisons on the mod's nexus page. Also, what are the uncompressed normal maps that are listed as optional and again, what is the difference between 'new' and 'original?'

I use Wrye Bash and the wizard installer for the newest update worked fine for me. -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Project Stability by GrandBulwark

Why are we still arguing about this? We have ENB Boost. -

I'd really rather you not post a link to that on here. Can you please remove it. -

I'm not proud of it but at least I advertise STEP as much as possible :P -
Maybe its better if you say why you don't like it... Compared to the other texture-packs out their, this one clearly represent the vanilla look of riften the best, and as far as I can tell the quality of the texture itself is very good. It have not been up-scaled or added excessive amount of contrast to make it look sharper. So what is it? Not sure however I believe we are currently using Riften texture from SeriousHD.

I honestly still dont' really know what the SSS features are supposed to do and I haven't really noticed in game yet. If someone could post a screenshot of SSS turned off and then SSS turned on, that would be extremely helpful as I currently have no clue what I'm supposed to be looking for.Â

Project ENB is looking pretty nice. I'm going to try RealVision tomorrow. https://i.imgur.com/aTGPW31.jpg https://i.imgur.com/jgXhF7i.jpg
