New mod out called Enhanced Landscapes, an amalgamation of Realistic Aspen Trees, Mountains Enhanced, Dark Fantasy Overhaul and Unbelievable Grass Two. Might be worth checking out for SRLE. -

A patch for "The Useless Shop Overhaul" has been made by mlbeller. However, at the end of the description he states that he will be making a JK's Skyrim patch and then a Better City Entrances. Unfortunately he says that he will not do ETAC, but it's a start. -

XX01AE24 OBISFaction XX = Index of OBIS.esp Conflict Resolution: Use record from OBIS.esp then right-click on the Relations line and click Add. Right-click the newly created Faction entry and select Edit. Paste "ARTHLALBanditVampireFaction [FACT:YY0189E8]" where YY = Index of Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp and click [OK]. Right-click the newly created Group Combat Reaction entry and select Edit. Type "Ally" then click [OK]. Problem Resolved: Organized Bandits In Skyrim added bandits attacked the player if using the bandit alternate start. For the above step in the conflict resolution, I get absolutely nothing under XX01AE24 (I have inserted the prefix for OBIS.esp). I only got OBIS.esp up, so I removed the filter, but even then their are no records in the right window of TES5Edit (let alone the 'Relations' line). I thought I may have installed it wrong so I reinstalled OBIS but still get the problem. Can someone tell me what I have done wrong? -

Found these quests: - Nuvanja - A New Dwemer Dungeon - Den Erovrade Staden - The Conquered City - Heimfeigr - Inferno- Envoys of End They look really interesting. Has anyone tried them at all? Also, has anyone looked into Beyond Reach lately? Past posts suggested issues but I was wondering if there have been changes to it. -

If you do the SRLE guide and the conflict resolution yourself, you should be able to gain the skills and understanding enough to add REGS on top of SRLE. I suggest you do not install ELFX exteriors (use the Lanterns of Skyrim mod from REGS instead). By following the guides of both (and asking questions whenever you get stuck), you should be able to get both up and running. -
BLESSINGS - Altar Descriptions (by MyGoodEye) Skyrim > Utilities Has anyone much experience with this? It looks good but old (not supported anymore). Can not find anything that could replace it but I am interested in what it does.

I have decided that I am going to use the RBB-SR Merge and then 'make' a new RBB-REGS that only has the meshes that RBB-SR Merge does not have along with the missing ESPs. -

Have installed SR:LE, which uses the SR merge option when installing RBB. I am currently installing REGS on top of it, which also has a merge option in the RBB installer. I compared the two merges and found some differences between them so I thought that I would just do a custom install and then merge all the ESPs into one. A couple of questions: 1) when I tried running LOOT or TES5Edit with the custom install of RBB and not the SR:LE install, I get a "missing master message - RBB - SR merge.esp. Can I merge all of the ESPs from the custom install (all 13 of them) into one ESP and call it RBB - SR merge.esp (so I do not get the missing master message when I swap my SR:LE MO profile to SR:LE & REGS MO profile, and hence which version of RBB I use) or will this "break it"? 2) if above not possible, how can I have an SR merged RBB and an extra RBB patch that I add on top for REGS. -

Just wondering why there have not been more ESP merges with this guide, such as: - Atlas Markers Legendary & Atlas Markers Compass Tweaks - ELFX DG & DB - Book Covers Skyrim & Book Covers Skyrim - Lost Library - Brows, Beards, Eyes & Hair - RaceMenu.esp, RaceMenuOverlays.esp, RaceMenuPlugins.esp https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6760-what-esps-do-you-merge-compatible-merges/ is a good spot for finding these merges. Is there a reason why they have not been merged? -

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
triptonite replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Hi CJ/Nearox. WOW! Fantastic pack. I have installed SR:LE and I am in the process of adding REGS. I had questions about some of the mods and/or mod installations. I tried going through this forum to find if it has been previously answered but so far I am only up to the 54th page of 181 (interesting reading, informative and educational, but long). I will keep on reading but I am impatient to get my questions answered. 1) When I installed RBB into SR:LE, I chose the SR merge option in the FOMOD. From what I understand, both the REGS merge option and the SR merge option have different compatibility merges. Consequently, I did a custom merge for REGS instead. Now I get a message that I am missing the SR merge.esp and I have a huge amount of ESPs from RBB. Is it possible to merge all the RBB ESPs into one ESP and name it SR merge.esp? I have a SR:LE profile and a SR:LE & REGS profile in MO so the two RBB mods will be activated in only one profile (with identically named ESP but different composition. 2)Is Skyrim Sewers still a part of REGS - I read that you incorporated it into the patch (?). If it is, I want to download it so I can endorse it. If not, why was it dropped? 3) Similarly about Daggercross Alley, SkyFix - Tidier Warmaidens Workshop HD, Immersive Settlements Falkreath & Strongholds, Fight Against the Thalmor, Inns and Taverns and Drinking Fountains of Skyrim. Are they incompatible with REGS as I cannot see them in the latest Guide. 4) Have the two mods Hjakhtraevarr Tomb https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16256/? and Hraghenskaag Labyrinths https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50352/? been looked at as inclusions in REGS? I like the look of them but have not come across anything in the forum (so far). -

Have finished installing SRLE and have played for a few hours without and CTDs (WOO HOO!!!). However, a problem I only just realised is that my EXP is not increasing at all, i.e. I am still on Lvl 1. Can anyone think of what this problem might be? -

I can not open SUM through MO. When I run it as an executable nothing happens except a SkyProcs Patcher forming in the MO overwrite. The only way I have been able to get the SUM interface is when I go through the SUM.jar OUTSIDE MO, i.e. in the MO>mods folder. -

I finally got SUM to work, but only by going into the MO>mods>SUM folder and double clicking on the SUM.jar. But I do not get any patchers (despite having ASIS and Dual Sheath Redux. Have I missed a step? -

When I run SUM, nothing happens. I get a SkyProc Patcher file in my MO overwrite folder but no list of installed patchers. I created a mod from the MO overwrite but I think it is not working the way it is supposed to be. i.e. I cannot do the below step: A list of installed patchers should be displayed with a check box next to each. Click the arrow next to each patcher icon and configure them as in the subsections below. Click [sUM Options] and uncheck "Run LOOT". I tried reinstalling SUM. I downloaded the latest version of Java and even the JarFix tool indicated by the SUM installation readme. When I went into the MO>mods>skyprocs patchers>SUM there was no SUM.jar (but it does show up in the MO data window when setting as an executable. Any help would be appreciated. -
