  1. Legendrodrigo and Hawkpath Hi! On the prereq. page it says to use MO 1.3.15, but use MO 2, due to security updates and compliance Nexus has implemented, you cannot use the mod manager download link with MO 1.3.15...you have to use manual...no big issue if you chose to stay on MO 1.3.15. Should you chose MO 2, be aware that it cannot be installed in your steamapps/common/skyrim folder. It needs to be installed outside of it..i.e E: Skyrim/steamapps/common folder or in it's own folder on your game drive. It is a slightly different beast to it's predecessor and info can be found on the web page or Lexy's LOTD special edition prereq. page..https://wiki.step-project.com/User:DarkladyLexy/Lexys_LOTD_SE_Prerequisites. Hope this helps and happy modding...PS just take your time and read the instructions for this guide, it's pretty bullet proof as it is, if you don't add on top of this build(which may require bug fixing).   2. Ok so i posted this on LE forum, but it may be awhile before it's answered.....So would anybody know how to reset Whiterun exterior, around the gildergreen tree? I have finished the civil war quests and this area still reflects a slight war scene(battle for Whiterun). I know there is a console command to reset interiors, but not for exteriors. It's minor and I'm drawing to the end of this guides quests(LE) etc, and can live without it if need be. Would be good to know, though, and i use Expanded towns and cities.........any thoughts from WISER heads would be appreciated

For what it's worth this question has been raised on the LOTD site, and the team have stated that they would not recognize any version, then the last posted (1.16.1)by the original author and posted on nexus. People were asking for support with the newer version and LOTD, but the team do not believe this is supported by the original author or released with his/her consent. So if used here when released, any problems may have to be addressed here....this is my understanding with that mod.
  5. Hello boys and girls! Just dropped by to share one of the little quirks this wonderful game sometimes throws up. Still on LE, approximately two thirds of the way through(Darth's guide), furthest I've ever played and enjoying some of the mods never played before...anyway...You have got to hand it to Arthmoor for his provincial courier mod. I was doing one of the last radiant quest for the thieves guide, as guide master, clothed with the agent of shadows power. Sneaked past guards, entered the house whilst the owners wondered around, crept to the golden urn and about to take it, when i feel this tap on my shoulder and the oh so familiar words.."i have a message for you, let's see here, a letter"...I'm gob smacked and thinking "what the f...", I'm one with the shadows, clothed by the night and then the address by the owners "You not supposed to be here". Needless to say that break in went side ways...teach me for being a thief. Lastly as Quintus Navale of the white phial quoted to me, when i returned to him, to help find the unique ingredients to fix the phial...Berndaroy "i received your letter", Quintus "Good, you are a hard woman to track down, but those couriers are tenacious". Don't know what training Arthmoor gave them, but they are better than a blood hound..able to find you anywhere, see into shadows, run around in simple cloths, despite the weather, avoid all dangers...you get the point. Just another small fun fact produced by this wonderful game. Happy modding/playing

  9. Sairven hi! Ahh i noticed this too, but thought it was just me! I went back to Neovalen's method way back when: First i have always made a back up of a clean install of steam vanilla setup( in case i mess up somewhere). Second when cleaning the Bethesda .esm's i have backup "checked". These get placed in overwrite and cleaned versions, as you mentioned went into Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder. I then created a folder in MO2 - mods folder called Cleaned Vanilla esm's or as Lexy has instructed. The esm(cleaned) in data folder then moved into this created folder and overwrite backups sent to Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder and renamed. Strange that this only seems to happen with the Bethesda esm's, were as with other mods and backup unchecked, they go into overwrite. Once done, i check both profiles (vanilla/LOTD relic hunter or what ever) with LOOT and Vanilla profile shows uncleaned....LOTD relic hunter cleaned

Modern Brawl Bug fix is, as i understand it, left here for the same reason as on SRLE Extended LOTD guide: its sole purpose is for those that may not use or have removed Enai Siaion's mods from their build (which has it included in them), they then have it in their build. Also as it is placed towards the end it will not harm said mod authors mods, but simply overwrite what it already has, thus not needed to remove...PS love the quote from Joan Baez's song
  13. Xaxilis hi! No don't be discouraged if replies don't come...things move so fast on this guide, questions, replies etc tend to get swallowed at times. I think though, that most people will wait on Lexy's progress, who in turn is waiting on certain authors to finish port their mods to SE...remember the earlier frustrations on having to "fix" authors mods that were ported and not run through CK etc. That's not to say that there isn't people here who are...shall we say, adventurous and more skilled then many others, and will love following the work you have done and posted. Remember too that this guide is a step up in terms of modding for most people, myself included, that doesn't mean that contributions here are not appreciated...so keep it up

Sorry boys and girls excuse my ignorance here, but under Lexy's and Nozzer's posts about mommy and tuna fish, what does the black square with yellow borders and yellow star in the middle mean/represent?....YES trivial i know, but i haven't noticed that before...something to do with administration?

In terms of Project AHO, that's up to Lexy...however as this guide is essentially built around Legacy of the Dragonborn, and this clear statement from Icecreamassassin: About Project AHO "This mod looks amazing but I am going to cut you all off at the knees BEFORE people start asking, because they will very shortly be asking; "Are you going to add museum support for Project AHO" and the answer is not right away. I am focused 100% on Odyssey now and if someone wants to talk to me directly via PM about making a patch for display support, I'd be happy to talk, but I have not played the mod yet, I have no idea what it involves and I do not have the time to do it myself, so PLEASE do not ask about it here, thanks." So unless someone is going to step forward to make patches for both the museum and guide i(personally) don't think so..BUT AS SAID THAT'S LEXY'S CHOICE
  20. Ok boys and girls.....correct me if my understanding here is wrong please. This update is the first I'm experiencing and the work around is straight forward!(THANK YOU B00MER9) My question is this: If the esm's and bsa's in data folder are changed, with the update, as well as the exe in main folder, changing back the exe(only) to a version skse64 can read(i.e fooling it) in order to play and allow mods needing the skse64 to play....does this still mean then that the issues "Fixed" by Betheasda are carried through in game still...am i going to hear a wolf howl? it vitally essential i have this(slight tongue in cheek). Or are the esm's, bsa's NOT changed with an update and thus not require cleaning again?

Hmmm enough said on previous posts, so i thought i might "lighten" the mood so to speak:....You have got to love this game and it's quirks, this happened to me on my LE/Classic game, where I'm doing Helgen Reborn quest(apologies to any who may not or have yet to play this mod): So i was sent to find out what the hold up was to the lumber order in Falkreach, and got swindled into joining the fight club. As pit dog with two fights under my belt and a name of "Frosty Maiden", i proceeded to enter my third match. We squared up, whilst the announcer declared the match to the audience, who hissed and boooed or cheered for their respective favorite competitor. The official existed the arena and the gladiator swung his sword at me, which i blocked and counter with my own swing of my sword. At that precise moment, i get a tap on my shoulder and a familiar sounding address....."i have a message for you, your eyes only" "lets see here, that's it got to go". Whilst I'm staring at him thinking "what the hell", i receive a mighty whack to the head by the gladiator, who has dodged my swing and countered in turn. So i ask you..where do i send my complaint too...there's no local post office/courier service, as they are being closed down due to "COSTS"(English joke: happening here to ours) or to Arthmoor for not training his couriers to get there timing right...needless to say i survived with a lump to my head and a lousy flyer about this months festivities
