I know what you mean about stealing Lexy in game, and trying to maintain a clean sheet so to speak, but for me that is a bit OCD about completing EVERY QUEST in game, there will come the time you have to face Brynjolf and your 250 stolen items to join the t/guild. For me the one i truly detest is accidental killing as murder...you take a swing with your bad ass sword at an enemy, and your pesky mule steps in the way, and hey presto you are up for murder..why i hate followers, and not to mention putting off the D/Brotherhood quest. Defending one's self is one thing, out right assassination quiet another...and yes thank you to Memnochs(your mod and fixes), Nebulous(tireless work in the background) and Ayajulia (didn't know about setownership) and of course our precious tireless defender/worker, of this guide LEXY
  2. As i build my own LOTD merged mod it may very well be, as i have to install the version 1.2.1 of CACO to match our install. Sirjesto may have thought we are using v2.0 beta of said mod....as mentioned before Icecreamassassin has mentioned changing the horker tusk back to original in the MCM menu(of v.2), due to people being unable to make horker display in the flora and fauna display room because of v.2. May be best to query with Sirjesto if this is the case in case other people encounter the same..ps never had a problem with Ongars hammer before..shows up in smithing menu even if i don't have ingredients though darken, until i have the right ingredients with v 1.2.1

  5. I know, i know, should know by now, that i should have a test game to "whats your words ....break to your heart's content" LOL laziness for you. I find i get the hand shakes, nervous twitch, craving for the games skooma(called upgrading/update..latest new shiny toy etc), that you neglect to" just enjoy the game"....not to mention the desire to help other, where possible. Just found a little glitch as a result of my tinkering with xedit that needs to be addressed and not so far in game that i cannot START AGAIN FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME. Kick the skooma habit....any one with a healing potion laying about anywhere!!!!
  6. Grrrrr....how does one get off this merry-go-round of continually updating, and just play!!!!Must have started, restarted, restarted etc how many times these past two weeks LOL. Have to draw the line with these last updates: Memnoch with the jars bugs and according to Icecreamassassin, if an object placed into a cell without a ownership "flag", it reverts to the owner of said cell i.e FSM jar in Whiterun temple of Kynareth has no ownership flag and thus flags as a stolen, if the item is taken. I placed a player "prisoner"[NPC_:0000007] flag on ownership in cell block 9 sub block 5 temp fsm jar in Collectables and Treasures merged mod(First made back up), but as yet to get to Whiterun in game...no i don't have test game (naughty naughty) to see if this works. The jar in understone keep Markarth, by Dwemer Student/Professor is the only other one we are aware of

  8. Alphakay hi! First off make a hard save of your present game(saves), so you can go back to it if things don't work out. Second: you should have determined what sex you wish to play with BEFORE starting a game..no1 rule of modding..don't start changing/uninstalling etc mid game. You could try this: Go into your mod organizer mods folder(outside of MO) and make copies of the SRLE Extended LOTD Profile, Khajiit Ears Show Output, and rename them i.e "SRLE Extended LOTD Profile B etc" just so you know which ones are for male or female, and place them into your mods folder of MO. If you are playing a beast race you may have to rerun Khajiit Ears Show Output. So once done uncheck your present character sex, and check your new sex...rerun Khajiit Ears Show Output, FNIS, Bash and possible Dual Sheath Redux. Do these individually and place the new generated files in overwrite into the new copied files(SRLE Ext LOTD Profile B)etc, tick them and then untick the originals to keep load order. Asis only adds things to NPC in game(spells etc) to match your character. THIS IS A THEORY and may be best to wait and see if wiser heads may have some more input to this, and of cause you do this on your own risk.

  10. Alphakay hi! When you run LOOT, if a mod has dirty edits etc, it highlights it in yellow and instructs you to clean the mod. In xedit if you load that mod and when loaded you could right click and "check for errors ", and it would report any errors. To clean is the same process as you do earlier in the guide on prerequisite page on Cleaning the Bethesda ESM'S Aegon hi! Yes
  11. xXshmattoxx/Alphakay hi! So started a new game last night with the latest LOTD v19.2.1. Just loaded it up with both LOOT(no issues flagged) and xedit and cannot find any ITM left behind. This was flagged on v19.2 and Pickysaurus said to remove/clean it. My understanding is that this has been clean by the team for the release of 19.2.1 Lexy some feed back in regards to the flagged jars: No response from Badgremlin so asked the team at LOTD, as SUT places items in the world and despite being in a room etc has no steal flag: Icecreamassassin says "Badgremlin would have to fix it or a patch would need to be made which removed ownership of the item. If you place an object in a cell and do not assign ownership, it will default to the owner of the cell. I put an MCM option in SUT that allows you to set ownership or not so you can have a more immersive challenge." Hishutup did point out that it may be an ownership issue due to non assignment, so a place to look at IF ITS STILL AN ISSUE FOR YOU, but then again you cannot start Thieves Guide Requirements without stealing things lol

Icecreamassassin has mentioned changing the horker tusk from ingredients/powder in the CACO MCM back to normal, but i thought that that was for the version 2 beta, as i don't see it in v 1.21 MCM(May be wrong and its not the first time). People were having problems creating horkers in the flora and fauna display room...if that doesn't work(hunting) you'll have to do that which you hate and console...sorry sweetness unable to help further......Hope all's well with mom and Darth..best regards...PS with the LOTD v 19.2.1 the ITMS are removed, v 19.2 had them(left over by mistake according to Pickysaurus)

I don't think its any of the combat systems as i don't use Wildcat or AAE, and i still encounter the magnificent mudcrab taking out a sabre-tooth cat with ease...i suspect possible combo of Skyrim Immesive Creatures and Skytest but cannot verify it off hand....and not a problem a well placed arrow cannot sort out

Off the top of the head, you need steel ingot/s + silver ingot/s + leather strip/s + horker tusk( down by the lake are some horkers), as to not appearing do you have the relevant perk for smithing(why i train up first lol) and sorry not sure which one, due to last comment in brackets and lastly your smithing skill level should be around 60. Lastly found sweet spot for my computer for Veydosebrom - Grass and Groundcover as iMinGrassSize=60 and well done love the look of this grass mod much more then verdant

Depends on which mods you chose to leave out i.e if you remove say Ordinator, then yes you will have to remove the records found in the CR from that mod...relax it can be done: if you go to the bottom of the guide under troubleshooting there is two methods using xedit and wyre bash to do this. First step is to load your finished MO setup and in the right pane at the bottom CR may or may not have a red triangle warning symbol telling you if any masters are missing( these may or not be the mods you are not using). if you don't you should be okay...if not, then follow the guide under troubleshooting

Ok this may be a dumb question, but if we change the skyrim i.n.i grass section to match the Veydosebrom i.n.i settings and add in the line fGlobalContrastBoost=-0.2 in skyrimpref i.n.i under display, then do we still require the Veydosebrom i.n.i copied into the Trees and Flora merge and renamed, would we not just be duplicating settings? If i missing something and it's dumb, feel free to bring out the stick LOL

I don't think it's a bug...as my understanding is, that you CANNOT NEGOTIATE his release...i.e i have had a high speechcraft skill, plus the armor effect and managed to sort of persuade the first Thalmor judiciary, but he then refers you to the head of the prison, who disregards the note as a forgery and promptly attacks...which is great for me as i cannot stand those stuck up ********, and love showing them the error of their ways LOL. If one was to follow lore per say the Thalmor don't release prisoners, but torture, murder, use for experiments. slavery etc and they most certainly despise the Imperials as weak and cowardly with barely a nod towards a partnership and coalition. Having said all this, this has been my experience, if you have managed to negotiate a release before i would love to know how...may not make a difference, as i love to tweak the noses of the Thalmor by dropping the hat/gauntlet myself, just for the fun of it LOL

Yes and don't know....yes the quest to receive the urns from Helgen is meant to fail due to Alduin....the quest as i understand, it is to make you go to Helgen, PRE STARTING HELGEN REBORN QUEST, in order for you to trigger the main quest story line, if you read the journal found on the corpse(burnt), you see he is the "substitute of you"...caught with Ulfric and his band on the cart ride and attacked by dragon etc, and gives you the opportunity to explore the cave, meet Hadvar/ the other guy, and then venture, if you will with Hadvar to the guardian stones and Riverrun. As for whether you receive the urns on the completion of Helgen Reborn, i don't know, as just short of finishing it myself, LOTD was upgraded to v19 requiring a new start, and our sweet Lady Lexy keeps adding new and shiny toys to the guide LOL, that i have yet, to start it all again properly

Ah Ok, don't use ineeds..so already in game (disease), good to know...and yes i hear you..last thing you want whilst reach for that last healing potion in your inventory, whilst hearing you heart thumping, is getting another whack from some beefing Orc out with a grudge, just because you looked at his wife/s with a second look LOL......and yes collapse/talk to Whiterun guards BEFORE HR book quest start

Well if we are looking at a more realistic view to playing, combat with wounds etc, then safe to say, we then need diseases mod/s that are more effective/aggressive, after all we are running around in tombs, fighting decayed corpse etc, as well as Memnochs time mods i.e world still revolves even in menu/itinerary view etc. I too have looked at skytweaks but not sure how it will play with this set-up and thus always on back burner....just my two pence worth Baronaatista hi! I have always understood that with Helgen Reborn, not to read the book until slightly later: On receiving the museum curators notes on start locations and completing his museum tour, i traveled to Helgen to receive the promised goods, and that sets the main quest off to go to Riverrun or investigate the ruins. Once inside (if investigating) the collapse takes place.....forward to the Whiterun gate guard stopping you. These stages need to be done prior to read and activating the Helgen Reborn quest to find Patsy. These instructions may have changed, but were the steps advised i.e visit Helgen, collapse, talk to guard needed to be done first, before starting HR quest on the HR web page...but admit it was awhile ago that i read this...and never completed the full quest to observe if a clean up takes place..hope it might help and not confuse
  23. Monobloc hi! Unless you have done something dramatic..i.e uninstalled mod mid play though...not sure! However if you have updated a mod the general rule as i understand it and open to correction, is too: (1). LOOT: Perform the following(and again every time mods change with an esp): (2). FNIS: Perform the following(and again every time animation mods are changed): (3). Wyre Bash: Perform the following (and again every time mods change with an esp) (4). DynDOLOD: This will only need to be executed again if object textures are changed.Perform the following to execute TexGen.exe: (5). Skyproc Patches:Each time load order is changed,SUM should be run again to remake all existing patches.Failure to do so may lead to a CTD on startup. Back up your last save and try running the above patches were applicable and see if this helps
