The plugin is still installed, the overwrite folder is emtpy. So nothing in the SKSE\Plugins folder to. -

Yes i did start through MO, as i always do. However there are still no files in the overwrite folder, i dont know what happend. -

The overwrite folder stays emtpy if I load a save game and close the game. -

Yes i did add the argument. I now placed the SKSE from the mod folder in: S:\Skyrim\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE -

It crashed after 2 hours of playing: This is my in S:\Utilities\Mod Organizer\mods\SKSE\skse.ini file Looks like it is still not using the 512mb memory blocks. Also when trying to load any of my save game it is stuck on the loading screen and after a few seconds task manager says Skyrim is not responding. The game never loads. A new game seems to work, but i want to be able to play with my save games, I am not going to start over becuase of some silly crash. EDIT, recovered with the quicksave.ess.bak. However it still crashes when I am in riften, it has something to do with the vampires attacking, when I get near my game crashes. -

So what does it do? I do have the steam version of Skyrim, is it somehow not loaded when using SKSE with MO? -

I have that in my config, with the MO executable arguments you mean in SKSE and then as an Argument? -

It just crashed when i was fighting the snow troll at the thousand steps, after switching over to fire destruction (i didnt caste it yet) and after leveling up my game crashed, forcing me to end it with task manager. Windows did complain a few times in the background that i was running low on RAM but on max usage i only had 6.1GB of ram in use of the 8GB. EDIT One of the last crashed also had this error about running low on RAM with windows, the windows error came at the same time as the game crash itself. -

I removed the plugins you suggested to remove. https://wiki.step-project.com/Bashed_Patch#Recommendations I did add all those meta rules to loot, also meta rules with this notice: Notice: STEP:Extended users: Please DISREGARD the following LOOT Meta Rules at this time. They pertain to interactions between this mod other mods installed downstream in STEP:Extended, so these rules cannot be implemented until those mods are installed. Those mod pages also contain similar LOOT Meta Rule instructions that can be applied later on. I am now going to test the Memory Blocks Log. I first ran LOOT to order the plugins then i rebuild the Bash patch becuase i installed the Memory Blocks Log plugin and ran LOOT. Should i re run loot after making the bash patch? -
So i've been using STEP Extended with 2k textures where possible. After that i began using Vividian ENB with COT, ESS ELFX and RCRN. Then when i started playing at random times my game crashes when starting to cast a magic spell. I am not sure if i had this issue before using Vividian becuase i only started playing after installing Vividian. This is my load order list:

Any update about the Bleakfalls issue? I to have this issue, I've got a Core I5 2500K, 8GB RAM and a brand new GTX 970. There was not bottleneck at all when looking at Bleakfalls but there was a 30 FPS drop. EDIT: Figured it out (aigan... stupid me): Disabled this mod: S.D.O. Full-Lod - Morthal Swamp Trees Complete This option will load all trees in the swamp and comes with an ~20FPS drop (more or less depending on your graphics card). Just seems weird that it gives a 30 FPS penalty. When my videocard is basically just sitting idle. -
Aaargh, a second walkthrough from the save game (after setting up the character) fixed it...

aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp enabled or disabled

According to AMidianBorn_Book_of_Silence Recommendation i should do the following (which i did): Right click the aMidianBorn Book of Silence mod > Information > Optional ESPs. Move aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp from the lower pane to the upper pane. I've got 5 Boof of Silence mods in my MO list, and the aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp was only available in aMidianBorn Book of SIlence - Weapons mod, so i moved it to optional from there. However MO says: The masters for some plugins (esp/esm) are not enabled. The game will crash unless you install and enable the following plugins: aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp And when building a wrye bash patch it says: So should the aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp really be disabled? EDIT: It may have been caused by moving the esp to the optional page after the Redux patch. I was double checking all my mods and their configs a few days aigo. And i found out the ESP wasnt in the optional pane. -
I've installed every Core patch and every Extended patch. Now MO is whining about the order. The mods are in exactly the same order as the STEP 2.2.9 guide. Here is the error: The conflict resolution order for some mods containing scripts differs from that of the corresponding esp. This may lead to subtle, hard to locate bugs. You should re-order the affected mods (left list!). There is no way to reliably know if each of these changes is absolutely necessary but its definitively safer. If someone suggested you ignore this message, please give them a proper slapping from me. Yeh i think so to, since mods like Fuz Ro Doh and Smart Souls also instruct you to create ini files in their corresponding dirs.

Enhanced Blood Textures notes outdated: Install the Enhanced Blood Textures 3_5d main file and the relevant DLC Compatibility Patch, 1024 Res Textures, and Blurry Screen Blood optional file. If you are planning to install the STEP:Extended Patch then skip the DLC Patch. It's included in the Extended Patch. There is no DLC Compatibility Patch on the nexus page and also the 1024 Res Textures, and Blurry Screen Blood optional files are missing. Also there is no topic about Enhanced Blood Textures under: S.T.E.P. → Republic of STEP → Mods → STEP Mod Anthology → J - Animations & Effects
