  1. Does anyone know a fix for this? Its not a huge issue, but Ive been googling for an hour or so and havnt found a fix.
  2. well, if we are taking what he said at Face value, the mod SHOULD work, just needs someone with the "motivation" to work it all out.
  3. If you do this...I will help you test it. (I'm not a modder myself but I have been experimenting with ALOT of mods) Plox Mini Map can haz
  4. lol believe me, myself and MANY others have looked far and wide for something like this. There are nexus mod requests for something like this, but nothing has ever happened.
  5. I want one. This compass thing is horrible. I found this, but could be a hoax. Can anyone confirm or deny that it is even POSSIBLE to make something like this?
  6. @Tony I read everything on your nexus description page, but am looking for further clarification as to the install order. I assume I should untick the optimized files that STEP had us create and instead use your optimized BSA. Assuming I assumed correctly, this is the install order I have. Is this correct?
  7. Ok. I fixed it. Human Error. MO is fine.
  8. Ok. The issue is not the ESP, its the BSA. There are some scripts inside the BSA that are not being read. I extracted the BSA, dumped the script folder right into the mod folder, now I get characters that have only heads, hands, and feet. Meaning it is using the scripts but not using the rest of the BSA. So theoretically you could unpack the whole BSA and it SHOULD work. No idea what MO is doing right now....
  9. Just so you know, there is a SafetyLoad standalone plugin on Nexus. (its the plugin that the SKSE plugin is based on) Give it a shot maybe.
  10. EXACTLY! I am having this issue with Immersive Armors. Just a few days ago it worked fine. I did. I think the update is the problem. -edit- I just noticed something interesting. When installing Immersive Armors, MO says this: "Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa not found!" But...it is in there... -UPDATE- If you go into the plugins settings and change the BSA setting to "true" (all it is SUPPOSED to do is show you a dialog box with a yes or no when you install a BSA) and then select "NO", it will install the BSA. MO FOMOD needs a fix. -more update- -.-; Even though I can trick MO to installing the required BSA's and ESP's...it wont show them to Skyrim. Immersive Armors is not being recognized by Skyrim, even though it is installed and tick ON in the load order. The Immersive Armors MCM never comes up. SkyUI never registers the MCM. MO is having some issues....
  11. For some odd reason I cannot get MO to install BSA's when installing Mods now. I can extract the zip file with 7zip and there is a BSA in there, but when I install it into MO the BSA is gone, leaving only an esp file that calls on a non-existant BSA file. I can easily move the file into the mods folder, but its kind of annoying and makes me have to pay more attention to what MO is doing. So what is happening and how do I fix it? -edit- upon further examination, its also neglecting to extract certain ESP files that are necisary for the mod to work. What is really strange about all this is the fact that just a little while ago, this all worked.
  12. XD This is why I can't do tech support. I can be patient for most people, but it only takes ONE of these to make me want to flip a table...and I usually do flip tables.
  13. I had a friend that did customer support for Dell for a little while. He used to tell me some horror stories about it. One in particular was hilarious. -phone call- My Friend> Hello, welcome to Dell Computer's customer service, how can I help you? Woman> I can't get to the internet. Friend> I'm sorry to hear that. What browser are you using? Woman> The blue E thingy. Friend> Alright ma'am can you please double click the Internet Explorer icon for me. Woman> Well...the screen is black right now. Friend> ? Your screen is completely black right now? Woman> Yes. Friend> All right ma'am can you try pushing the power button on the monitor a few times and see if the monitor responds. Woman> Ok. -few mins go by- Friend> Ok ma'am did the monitor turn on? Woman> No. Friend> Ok ma'am is this a Dell monitor? Woman> Yes. Friend> Allright ma'am can you try turning the computer off for a few minutes. Woman> Ok. -few more mins go by- Friend> Alright ma'am can you go ahead and turn the computer back on. Woman> Ok. Friend> Did the monitor turn on now? Woman> No. The screen is still black. Friend> Hmmm. Can you try unplugging the Monitor and plugging it back in for me? -this is the punchline, so Im going to hide it so you dont skip ahead-
  14. correct. just follow that guide and optimize stuff. I optimized EVERY mod that had any MESHE or TEXTURE files at all. If it was a BSA, I unpacked it, optimized it, and left it loose. (tried repacking into a compressed BSA but ran into issues, need more knowledge on that before trying again) The end result was a MUCH smoother game.
  15. Glad to hear you got this working. Im not sure why your SKSE.ini is not working properly. Mine works with no trouble at all. I also used SSME before I knew that SKSE had its own built in memory block plugin. Removed SSME, SKSE.ini still works for me. I usually get to around 308 on the high side, havnt really found a place that will get it to go higher (maybe someone knows of a good spot to test it?). Is SAFETYLOAD working for you now?
  16. ^ what he said. You had a VRAM issue. ENboost helps that. Issue mostly solved. Still should probably remove a few of the heavier texture mods. Or do what I did and optimize the crap out of them.
  17. I am new to STEP and have had alot of questions and received alot of answers. First and foremost I want to thank all of the STEP team for all their hardwork. Thanks to you guys Ive learned alot and have gotten to almost a 100% stable game with close to 140 mods. (still a few kinks that need to be worked out but Im sure ill get there eventually) THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!
  18. if RELOADING fixes it, its a VRAM issue. Uninstall some of the more costly mods, such as SRO, SFO, SDO, SkyFalls and SkyMills, etc etc.
  19. Its finally working. I deleted EVERYTHING and started over from scratch. All the exact same mods and same setup. Guess something didnt install right or download might have been corrupted.
  20. FNIS wont open through MO, but opens just fine by itself. What gives? -edit- nevermind. solved it myself.
  21. The purple Texture is a MISSING texture file. Reinstall all your texture based mods.
  22. if you see PURPLE armor/characters/whatever, you have the .NIF file of that item but not the TEXTURE. Reinstall all your stuff and make sure it actually installs everything correctly.

    Whats Dish?

-double edit- "Q: WyreBash mentions some error with a helmet entry? A: This is a false positive and should be ignored."
  24. SSME is the original memory block plugin. You need to install it directly into your skyrim folder.
